Beautifully kept friendly and equipped site, cleanest facilities I've seen in over 30 years camping.
Hot Water and Kettle Equipped. A nice small children's play area, although ours and others on site at the time seemed to enjoy just rolling down the field best
Nice location to access National Trust, Bewl Water Bedgebury to name a few.
Road Noise caused us no issues, although obviously the site is sited next to a busy road.

Found this site by chance & got a warm welcome. Nice site slightly sloping but with good facilities. There is road noise but for one night it was fine. Well equipped site especially for tents having a dry shelter, fridge picnic tables. The walk to the water was fine & we wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely eggs a bonus!

Just back from 3 night stay, site is clean well maintained and has some very handy extras. Picnic tables and BBQ along with two very large fridges and charging point for phones. Bathrooms spotless and no queue. 5 minutes shower token worked well for a mum and two kids as the showers are large and easy to wash and dry and free hair dryer. ! Top tip pitch by hedges not in the centre as people pitch behind you ! Also this site is on a slope but that didn't hamper the stay.
Playground was a hit also plenty of space to play games and books in chill out room. Great location for getting to attractions in a car.
BUT. The road it is off of is busy! All day and night and very loud needed ear plugs. Did mean you can't walk anywhere. Also the track to bewel water is 1 mile not bike able and down a hill, the path goes by some very large loud guard dogs which petrified two small kids especially as you could hear them in the night

A lovely little campsite, with friendly owners.
The toilet area was very clean and modern, as were the showers, which are also very spacious. The showers take a 50p token for about 5mins, which was plenty of time and lovely and warm.
There are plenty of wash up areas as well as a freezer to use to store your own food or re-freeze your cool blocks.
I'm glad we bought along a torch as the campsite is very dark at night, the toilet block is not lit at night and you are asked to turn on and off the lights as you come and go, although when we stayed in off peek season there was only 4 campers on site, and I guess a larger amount of campers on site may generate more of there own lights to help find your way, as many campers have awning/solar lights around their pitches. But I'm sure many a camper packs a torch anyway.
The camping field is on a slope, and there are ramps around the site to use, although we didn't use any and didn't find it a problem at all.
The site is lovely and peaceful, and we could often spot pheasants and rabbits from our pitch, as well as many birds tweeting in the evening.
The little play park got a big thumbs up from my 6 and 4 year old, and as the campsite is quite small, it's easy to keep an eye on them.
Overall a fab campsite and is on our list of ones to come back to for another weekend break.

We have just spent a lovely weekend here and the site cannot be faulted. Lots of room and very clean toilet and shower facilities, ok so it's 50p a shower but well worth it. Its has a lovely walk to Bewl Water. The only downside is the road the A21 which is the main road into Hastings, during the day it's not a problem but at night it's noisy. If you can sleep through anything then give this site a go, it's a little gem.

Our family spent 10 nights at this site in August and we all had a lovely time. The toilet/shower facilities are good, although I understand that there are fewer female toilets than male and occasionally this would mean the ladies had to wait. There are two washing facilities each with a kettle to make hot water with (great idea!).
There are two fridge freezers and these are clean and a real bonus, as is the couple of plug sockets provided for charging phones and devices.
The owners are great, very helpful and friendly.
The kids play area is good and is visible from all the pitches so you can sit back and relax while the kids have fun :)

Just returned from our bank holiday stay having stayed at this lovely campsite many times over the year. As always we had an amazing 3 night stay even with the worst rain seen this year! We walked to the bull inn in ticehurst using the path right next to the site and the following day walked to bowl water using the same path. Weekend boot sales at paddock wood are only 15 min drive away along with tunbridge wells and the lovely bedgebury being on the doorstep. Usual great happy campsite atmosphere which can only be put down to the lovely owners who are always on hand with advice and to give assistance. Lovely clean showers - bearing in mind this was a packed bank holiday weekend but there was never a wait for the loo or shower! We borrowed a barbecue and brought coal on site at 5. 50 for a large bag. The two fridge/freezers are a godsend. Can't wait to re-visit!

What a lovely site, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We stayed here for 2 nights and are definitely planning on going back. We were at the top of the hill, glorious views, surrounded by woodland, no noise, just perfect! Facilities very clean, plenty of room in the showers. No shop but everything else you need, BBQ's you can borrow, ramps for your motorhome, freezer for your ice packs, even a sitting room if you want to curl up on the sofa! We did venture out in the van to Hawkhurst, a little town a few miles up the van and stocked up in Budgens with loads of extras that we didn't need and there is a walk to Bewl water from the site but it was just the perfect site to completely unwind in and we just ended up sitting there enjoying the view.

Have just spent 1 night here, and no complaints.
Owners were friendly and always walking around making sure everything was ok, bins were emptied etc.
Toilets and shower blocks were kept clean, although you have to pay 50p for a shower.
Pitch was great, slightly on a hill, but had the sun basically all day.
There are BBQs to borrow which was very handy! Fridges and freezers to use too and kettles.
Playground which the children loved and spent most of their time in there!
We walked to Bewl Water visitor centre, which was quite a walk with children, but they all enjoyed it with lots to see on the way.
Although there is nothing else to walk to part from Bewl, only the A21 as the Little Chef has closed down now.
Overall a great campsite to have a base, very quiet and relaxing and we would definitely stay again :)

Lovely site, compact but with everything you need. Wonderfully clean facilities and a friendly atmosphere. As first timers we were a little bit apprehensive but owners helped position and level the van when we arrived - amazing service.
Site ideally located for bewl water, we walked from the site to the bewl water visitor centre and back (2 miles) which was very picturesque. Excellent farm shop on A21 just after flimwell and even better butchers called Busters in Salehurst nr Church.
Didn't want our weekend to end - will definitely return.
