Stayed this weekend to try new awning as local to us, didn't realise the roadworks in the area would affect us getting back home, no need to worry leave the van and come back for it was the answer, nothing too much trouble for any of the staff,
I am not surprised how excellent the facilities are this site, and I would recommend to anyone who wanted to 'escape' for a while from near or far you wont be disappointed,
Close to all local attractions and road networks very easy to locate

Glamped in an exclusive hideaway, complete with double bed and flat screen tv. The site is situated quite a way from anywhere which meant that we couldn't just wander out for a drink at the end of the day, but there is an extremely well stocked farm shop on site.
The shop is not as expensive as I thought it was going to be having read earlier reviews, some of the ones near where I live are much pricier! Staff are all very helpful and pleasant.
The BBQ outside the hideaway was quite dirty and would have been nice if they removed the grill to avoid it rusting between 'residents'. Showers and toilets were absolutely fantastic, cleaner than some of the B&B's I've stayed in!
The only thing which could be improved is the drainage on the paths to the toilets/showers as it rained really heavily and the paths were about half a foot deep in water (was glad I had wellies!) Would consider going back if only to experience the great facilities, would be a good place to stay with a group of friends

Having just spent a week at The Hollies, I can honestly say, the site is spotless as are the toilet and shower facilities, we had running water too the caravan, hook up and grey waste all for £15/£18 per night,
The shop is very popular and well stocked with specialist goods, however if you want a tin of beans or a roll of tin foil forget it and go to the superstore in nearby Winsford, the Barn! If you like Christmas then stop in there and have a good look around,
The only down side for the first couple of days I could hear the traffic on the A49, I don't think it would stop me going again. Thank you to the staff for help when it was needed, however a little more information about the park for first time users and the surrounding area would be useful.

What a great site. We stayed here at late notice and the owners were very helpful.
The site is very well looked after and the facilities are very clean. The toilet block had been cleaned every time I went in.
The pitches were more than big enough. We didn't use an awning as we only stayed for 2 nights but there was more than enough room to pitch an awning and park your car on the pitch.
The shop is well stocked with some fantastic food, we could have spent a fortune.
We will definitely be staying here again.

Spent Halloween Weekend here and really liked the site, nice tree lined pitches very very spacious pitch with own electric and water.
I would say the pitches are larger than CC standard and fab with having 2 dogs as you have enough room and separation from the other pitches.
Toilets/showers very nice and like the farm shop, would return very nice site and a great dog walk nearby forest very quiet.
They have some camping pods which look like they will be great when finished. Staff friendly.

The wife and mother in law have just spent a weekend here. On the whole they loved the site. The farm shop is well equipped, if not a little expensive.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful with nothing neing too much trouble.
The pitch was a good size and well facilitated, however, they did manage to trip the electric with a hairdryer!
The toilets / showers were very modern and clean, however, if the site was busy there would be a queue as there is not enough of them.
There's plenty to do locally, the Shire Centre is well worth a visit and you £7 entrance goes to a good cause in supporting the animals there.
We will be going to this site as a complete family unit at half term.

We discovered this site this year and have now visited many times we have even booked for over the new year. We cannot find fault with this site, the facilities are always spotlessly clean, they provide sinks with hot water for washing dishes and even a washing machine which is free to use. We have been to the fully serviced pitches and love having our own private water supply no more carrying heavy water containers. I have also stayed in a Hideaway in July being a seasoned camper I found them great for a quick pitch option I went with a non camper who thoroughly enjoyed the stay and has booked a hideaway for new year! I have seen previous comments on this site that the shop is pricey, it is an award winning farm shop NOT a campsite shop, the products are pricey but they are top quality and never fail to please if you try them. The olive bar is our favourite along with the fabulous organic sausages yum!

I loved this site and I want to go back again and again. We went for a weekend - friday to sunday - and it was quiet (just how I like it). Some traffic noise from the main road, but nothing so horrendous that I couldn't ignore it - the pitches are set well back. The facilities are lovely, very clean and surprisingly insect free considering the doors were left wedged open. The farm shop is a marvel to behold! It is so beautifully presented with an amazing array of food and gifts etc. We went into the coffee shop and the sandwiches were delicious. Only had a brief glance at the garden centre outside, but it all looked to be of the same high standard. It isn't cheap in the shop but this is a Cheshire farmshop, not Tesco. As a treat whilst staying there you will be spoilt for choice. The camp site on the other hand, I do consider very reasonable at £18 per night for a very spacious pitch for myself, my other half and 12 year old daughter, inc EHU and water tap on pitch. Excellent location for visiting the area. We will definitely be back!

We have just stopped here for the bank holiday weekend, and it was great. Think this is our new best little site (up to 40 pitches).
Price was great, pitch size was amazing toilets were immaculate (as was the rest of the site).
Shop on site was great (some items a little pricey) but you expect that these days. Location was very good and very well signposted.
If we had to make any recommendations then there would only be 2:
1. A playground / swings for the kids.
2. A separate exit for the farm shop customers to exit the site. It can get quite busy when the shop is full and all the cars leaving, with the one way system in place we was a little wary of our 7 year old on his bike ?
Like we said these are our only gripe really, other than that is was very near perfect for us.
P.S. All and I mean ALL site staff are very very pleasant look professional, and more importantly seem to want to be at work and help.
Very helpful staff indeed
Many thanks see you again.

Spent the first may bank holiday here and absolutely loved it.
A very tidy site with excellent modern facilities, including Wi-Fi - which I made use of while on site.
The on-site farm shop is fantastic with a huge range of produce and many homemade jams, chutneys, cheeses etc.
The site staff were very professionally dressed and very helpful and pleasant in manner always willing to help you.
I stayed here with my Wife and Myself. I wouldn't return here with my 2 young kids as there is no space for them to kick a ball about, we would have to go elsewhere for that.
The location of the site is excellent for canal walks, cycle rides.
I hope to return again and would eagerly do so, but I know it won't be with my kids.
