A simple yet perfectly functional site, within 3km of central Bruges. We booked via their online system and were given information the day before we arrived regarding pitch number etc.
We arrived after 6pm (office was closed) but numberplate recognition enables us to get in easily and find our pitch no problem. Electric hook up was easy and close, plenty of drinking water outlets.
The shower and toilet facilities were spotless and plentiful. Lots of hot water too. No hairdryer but a plug facility in washrooms to bring your own. I didn’t fancy wet hair in March!
Laundry facilities very useful even if just to tumble dry wet towels - 50c for 10mins. Previous reviews have mentioned that electric heating wasn’t allowed on the 6amp EHU.
We haven't even try to use our little ceramic fan heater even though it went below freezing on the first night. We were cold but we survived!
My only negative is that there is no hardstanding; for a site that is open throughout the year this means mud. We were lucky that it hasn’t been too wet -yet - we are still here so who knows what tomorrow’s weather will bring?!
We had brought a drive away awning for our campervan that we paid extra for but decided not to put it up - partly due to the muddy ground but also because my better half forgot to pack the pump for the air awning… he was lucky it was muddy!
A great site, convenient for Bruges. We walked in to the city and back every day but buses are nearby and cycling is great because it’s so flat.

The campsite is ideally situated for Bruges and whilst it is just on the outskirts, the site itself is in a quiet wooded area.
The site is quite small but has excellent shower and toilet facilities. Both were immaculately clean and warm (given the time of year and cold weather, this was important).
The one thing that we were disappointed with was that there were no water taps on each pitch and as we were in a caravan, this was quite important.
Most of the other campers were in campervans, which do not need piped water as they carry their own.
The pitches were also quite close together. We initially booked for 5 nights, but had to leave a day early because of the French strikes impacting on Calais.

Very convenient for Bruges. A small site with small pitches. A convenient common room.
The situation with electricity was bizarre. It is only 6A but cuts in and out irregularly. At one point a site rep knocked on our door and asked if we would use gas for our fridge and heating as we were using more than they expected! All very odd.
We wouldn't rush back.

Great find. Booking was easy and on arrival at the entrance barrier it recognises your registration Number and opens (this is if you are Pre Booked) your confirmation email gives you your Pitch # and all other details needed.
Facilities are Great. Clean and warm on those colder days.
Easy Bike ride into Bruges.
Will Definitely return.

Lovely site in a great location.
Good facilities, sadly our van a suffered battery failure on the day of departure, site staff as much use a chocolate fire guard offered no help or any assistance at all, would not let breakdown crew on site.

We stayed for 4 nights in August, perfect location for exploring Brugge, within easy walking distance of the centre, however a bus is nearby if walking is not an option, taxi was approx 15 euro's later in the evening.
The campsite and facilities are exceptionally clean and well serviced.
We will definitely be back to Memling again!
