We stayed here for 3 nights to explore Brugge. The site was full on all nights, but we had booked online which I would recommend as people were turned away. The pitches are compact we just managed to fit our 5 berth caravan with the awning up, on the pitch, with the car across the front.
It is ideal to cycle into the city centre, with cycle lanes and cyclists given priority. There are 2 supermarkets and a Mcdonalds within 5 mins walk. The woods are great for dog walking and a swimming pool/leisure centre just down the road. Maps are available from the friendly and helpful reception staff.
The toilet block was clean with good showers although busy. WIFI was free for 30mins, but the signal was little patchy.
Overall great site.

We stayed here last month on our first ever trip abroad with our caravan. It is a super site, compact, very clean, beautifully kept and attractive. All the facilities were very convenient and the staff friendly and helpful. As others have said, it's very busy with many people using it as a stop over. The pitches are pretty tight so you get to know your neighbours! And there is a lot of movement around the shower block so don't pitch near it if you want some quiet! There isn't anything for kids, although the few we saw all brought their bikes along as cycling is all the thing in Belgium and there are some pleasant rides to be had. The site produce all the maps and information you need for shopping etc. Great site for 'people watching'!

We spent three nights here and had booked online which meant although reception was closed when we arrived our booking information was outside in the covered information section - very handy and meant we didn't have to queue. Toilets are new and first class. Very spacious showers, very clean and never had to wait in the morning. As other reviews it's a good 25 minute walk to the centre of town. There is a Lidle and Carrefour supermarkets near the site. Only downside is that some of the pitches are cramped. We were on No 87 and would not have been able to use the awning if we needed shade. Request 2 to 5 or the ones opposite the toilet block if you want more space. In all fairness reception are happy for you to decamp to another pitch if you are unhappy with the one they allocate so chose carefully!
Due to its locality this is a busy site but reception are very friendly and it's a good site. Great dog walks in the nearby woods. Wifi is available at 3 euros for about 4 hours but sometimes we had to sit near reception to access it.
All in - very nice little site, great access to the town and all the sights therein. Would recommend - but do book in advance.

I have reviewed this campsite before but wanted to update it:
The campsite now has an undercover kiosk attached to the Reception building where you can collect your paperwork if you have reserved a pitch to save having to go into Reception, this is handy if you are arriving out of Reception hours. The run-down shower block just inside the site is gone and there is a new larger shower block further into the site. I didn't use it but apparently the showers are free and clean. As we stayed for longer this time, I was able to explore the wooded area next to the site and was pleasantly surprised to find that it extends almost two thirds around the perimeter of the campsite - it is quite substantial in size and has lots of tracks which made for a very exciting walk for my dogs. It doesn't look much from the road but it's definitely worth exploring.
Brugge is a brisk 20-25min walk and there is a vet nearby who can do dog passports and has an open late surgery one evening a week, details can be obtained from Reception.
I would definitely recommend this site and am confident we will stay here again.

This was our second visit to Bruges and both times we have stayed at Camp Memling. The location of this site is excellent, just 20 min walk into the centre of Bruges. A regular bus also runs into Bruges.
The campsite is small and lovely and quiet. It is easy to forget you are in a suburban location.
Although there is no shop on site there are a number of supermarkets within a 10 min walk.
It is a well maintained site and the new shower toilet block is excellent, always hot water and lovely and clean.

We used this as a stopover campsite before crossing back to the UK the next day. The young man on Reception was very helpful and spoke excellent English. The cost wasn't cheap, 30 euros for two adults, two dogs and the motorhome with electric, but I'm assuming this is due to its close proximity to Bruges. The pitches were mainly laid to grass and open, we cannot comment on the facilities as we did not use them. Wifi was 1 euro per hour, which you could get anywhere on site and they even had a machine so you could change larger denominations into 1 euro coins. The wifi machine was near reception and worked fine as we used it. The chemical toilet, waste and fresh water were all conveniently placed at the back of the reception. Bruges was about a half hour walk from the site and is definitely worth a visit. There is a vet in Bruges, details of which you can get from Reception, which I was told we could walk to from the campsite and between 6-7pm you can just turn up and be seen. We haven't used this vet but will probably do so when we holiday abroad again next year. There was a wooded area, with an entrance just past the first house as you turn left out of the campsite. I didn't use it but it looked a well used place. There is no club house or child's play area on this site. We really liked this site and would definitely use it again.

We stay here for 2 days before going down to germany, not the best of sites the big plus is that its with-in walking distance to the city of brugge, but we feel that it is the only plus, the pitches are far too close together, 3 motorhome were stuggling to open their doors they were so crammed in, also although we were in a very dry spell the pitches were horrible and messy, and the tarmac roads around the site had really massive pot holes. Although the showers are modern they lacked the cleanliness one would have expected for the price that we were charged, we will not be returning as we did feel ripped off and found it a very unkept sight.

This was the first stop on our Europe tour and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Site owners were friendly, spoke very good English and facilities were clean. Toilet block had recently been refurbished and whilst the floor is concrete the showers were hot and clean. We decided to walk into Brugge - it was a nice walk in but a bit of a trek, fine when you are going in but not on the way back! The city itself is lovely and very picturesque, but be prepared for crowds. The campsite was relatively quiet but people were friendly, pitches of a size which you can expect in Europe (tighter than UK sites but adequate). Swimming pool just down the road and woods which looked nice for walks. Shops were very close by and easy access to Calais and rest of Europe. Would stay here again.

Only spent one night here on the way back to the Channel tunnel which is under 2 hours away. Great little site with very helpful multilingual reception staff and best sanitaire we have seen. Lots of hot water and plenty of room, spotlessly clean.
Brugges itself is 3 kms away and easily accessed by car, bike or bus.
There are some very small and decidedly intimate pitches but we had one of the larger pitches near the adjacent woods so we could walk the dogs easily and, as there is no shop on site, drove less than 2 minutes round the corner to the nearest Carrefour where there are also a couple of garages and other handy shops like Blocker for anything you need. All in all highly recommended either as a stopover or a destination if you are visiting Brugges for a few days (it's a lovely, if quiet, city).

It is not well signposted if approaching from the east. Also the major road junction about 200 metres from the site is very fiddly – best to look on Google earth first.
We had a pitch in the middle close to the facilities which was OK. If you have a pitch on the south side I doubt whether you would see the sun because of the tall trees.
The facilities looked as though they had been refurbished recently, however when the floors are wet they are very slippery if wearing smooth soled shoes.
The site is very close to a bus stop and tickets are cheaper if bought at the petrol station en-route to the bus stop rather than on the bus. A single trip was €1. 30 to the centre of Brugge.
There are many supermarkets within walking distance.
A good site for a short while whilst visiting Bruges.
