This was our first time in Belgium and found this site on the internet, the site was clean and well kept the toilets and showers were very clean despite the site being very busy, wifi available 1euro for 1 our, an ideal site to use as a base we used it to visit war graves and museums, no frills camping at its best.

We picked this site for a 3 night visit after reading previous reviews and it did not disappoint.
It was very quiet whilst we were there but the pitch type we chose-80 m2-was ample for our van and awning. The new facilities block was very clean and warm. As mentioned by others there is a glass wall which may be disconcerting for some in the busy season but really does not cause a problem.
The site was a very easy 10 minute bike ride - on cycle lane at side of road - into Bruges itself or a 30 minute walk. We also cycled to Blankenberge on the coast which was an easy, fairly level ride with cycle lanes all the way and def worth a visit.
There were a couple of supermarkets within a 10 minute walk together with a few other shops including a large camping shop.
There was a Mcdonalds near the supermarkets as well as an in-store restaurant. However we must mention the Vossesteert Restaurant which was a 10 minute walk out of the campsite to the right. We had an excellent meal and the staff explained the menu-only written in Flemish-with patience and friendliness. Whilst not cheap it was very good value -by Belgian standards! - and great food.
Would definitely return to this site.

A great site for visiting Brugge. Used the local bus to get into the centre which was easy and not crowded. The boat trip on the canals is worthwhile. A choice of supermarkets within easy walking distance. The pitches are not large but were adequate for our 6m van, Fiamma, & car. A new toilet block was clean and never crowded. On booking we were required to pay the site fee in full, but I was able to settle by using a prepaid Eurocard.

An excellent location to visit Brugge. We stayed 3 nights in a small 2 person ridge tent. We still thought it worthwhile paying a little extra for a designated 80m² pitch as otherwise the 5m² tent field was very tightly packed. Good clean toilet block and showers however, for the price paid, would have expected toilet paper there! Very convenient to cycle on the designated cycle paths (10 mins to Brugge). Site about 1. 25 hrs from Dunkirk ferry. Would advise prebooking. Convenient supermarkets walkable but closed on Sunday.

Not the most attractive site we have stayed on, but served the purpose for our visit to Bruges. Some pitches were waterlogged, but our chosen one proved adequate as we did not put the awning up for such a short stay. Issued with useful info sheet on arrival which makes mention of the bus service into the City which we used throughout our stay. Found the Internet adequate and good value as we could log on and off until the hour was used up. Shower block was clean, modern and functional.

We stayed here for a couple of nights - ideal for visiting Bruges, we cycled in using the designated cycle paths, no problem at all. Friendly welcome at reception. The toilets were fully functional and clean but I do agree with other comments about the glass doors - best to use the cubicles! The site looked fairly full but I never had to wait for a shower. The pitches are not huge but plenty big enough for our campervan plus awning. I'd go there again definitely.

This site is about 30 to 40 minutes easy level walk into town or there is a bus that runs every 20 minutes and it runs at night as well. We were greeted warmly and the staff speak English. The showers are free and clean with loads of hot water. There is site WIFI at 1 euro per hour. You purchase a voucher from a machine. However, we found it very slow at times. We were able to pick up Astra 2 English satellite TV. There are 2 supermarkets close to the site but they close on Sundays. There is only 1 washing machine and 1 drier. You can get fresh bread daily from a machine on the site. The pitches are very small and close together (some were almost touching) but a good site because of the close proximity to Bruges.
Bruges is a beautiful city. If you like to have a drink in beautiful surrounding call in at The Grand Casselberg Hotel on the walk into Bruges. It is truly beautiful with glass chandeliers and an open fire. The drinks are only marginally more than in town but worth it. The Church of Our Lady where Michel Angelo’s Madonna and Child is held is undergoing massive renovations and is in a bad state of repair. They charged a reduced amount of 2 Euro to get in. I’m not sure it was worth it but it was nice to see the sculpture.
All in all a well run, clean site and would recommend it if you are visiting Bruges.

Would like to echo previous reviews.
Arrived when reception shut an envelope left outside for us with instructions for camping.
Used cycle routes to get into Brugge - clearly marked - safe parking for bikes.
As it was christmas all buses in and around Brugge were free and a christmas special on the trains for 9 euros got you any where from Brugges and back so made use of it and went to Brussells and Ghent - both worth a visit.
Toilet block still not finished but very clean and very nice under floor heating kept it warm. Very busy when we were there but never a queue.
Second visit here and would use it again.

Great site, new toilet block almost finished but why would they put clear glass walls in it? So you can pee with a view and everyone can view you pee.
All facilities are of good standard. Lots of hot water.
Its a 5 min walk to the bus that takes you right into town. The bus runs late into the evening so you can eat in Brugge and bus home. There are a few shops close by including a cheap restaurant but cheap is the word here. Everything close is shut on Sunday.
Highly recommend this site.
