This Is a Beautiful well established family run CC park.
With all the amenities on site for a lovely stay.
Mainly family orientated Small shop for groceries, leaflets etc. Swimming pool play area. Very clean immaculate well kept toilets /showers washing machines dryers.
All camping /tenting pitchs spacious and the grass Is well cut and lawned. Also there Is a field for Caravans too. The view from the front of the site Is spectacular looking across the Menai straits to the Snowdonia range. And the rear view of the rolling hills and Vista. This site Is very peaceful. Attracting birds to visit with a lovely birdsong. I stayed here whilst backpacking It was so nice I did not want to leave. Nearby, Newborough has a lovely beach and Forest for walks.
Also walks along the Menai straits are within walking distance down the lanes.
This Is a credit to George, Dith and Mark. Who are very helpful. And insure everybody has a welcome stay.
I would highly recommend this site.

The weather did what wales does best. Everything! How ever wet it got the site stayed well drained and the facilities clean, even though it was almost full. We never had to wait for a shower, and the coin operated hair dryer is a luxury!
The little hedges that they are growing to divide up the field are great, just starting to fill out to give a sense of individual space to what are already generous pitches.
I don't use electric hook up personally, but they seem to have a lot of pitches that cater for it. Keeping cars separate from the tents, yet still leaving access to unload or pack away is super, sitting out by the tent is so much nicer without cars inbetween!
The children have loads of space to run about near your pitch and there's a nice playground with swings etc as well.
When the weather did break the magnificent view of the Snowdon range was great to wake up to! The kids even got to use the little outdoor swimming pool a couple of times.
I would heartily recommend this site to families with young children. Anglesey has some of the nicest beaches and Fron makes a good base to explore from.

We arrived and were shown to a pitch on quite a slope, asked if we could pitch on more level ground, but were told this was not possible, they were for campers over the BH weekend. Although the website states the caravan and tent fields are separate, the owner snapped that he had to put tents in there over the BH, it's business.
I was directed to some blocks to prop up the front of the caravan and promptly stood in dog poo, which was near the bin area.
Our son was excited about the pool, he went in, but it was extremely cold. As it is unheated it is very cold. Other children went in, but were back out in minutes.
I'm amazed that this site is showing 5 stars. The shower blocks are very dated. Some shower cubicles have a saloon type door, so anyone can see over or under the door.
We advised the owners we were leaving, as it did not have the facilities we would expect from a 5 star site. The owner was very off hand and arrogant. However, his parents were true business people, accepting that we wished to leave and insisting that he should reimburse our monies less the night we had stayed.
We moved to a lovely site, which we will stay at whenever we are in Anglesey.
If you are looking for a site with basic facilities this may suit you. The previous reviews about the cold pool are spot on, the addition of a cover has not resolved this problem.

What an absolute gem of a site this is! A fantastic base to explore the island of Anglesey. Visited for 5 nights over the Easter Holidays (2 adults, 2 children).
Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, right through from the booking process up until the day we left.
Both the camping and caravanning field are immaculately kept and lovely and quiet. The camping field boasts beautiful views of Snowdonia, whilst the caravan field benefits from rolling countryside and superb sunsets (weather permitting of course)!
There is a children's adventure playground with climbing frame, slide and swings adjacent to the camping field which was safe enough to let our children (aged 6 and 3) go and play on their own and all children respected the rule of leaving the playground at dusk. The swimming pool was not open when we were there as it was too early in the season.
There are two toilet and shower blocks, which although a little dated, were immaculately clean at all times. The ladies has 3 shower cubicles and there is a separate unisex shower round the back for parents who need to take children in with them. The water was lovely and warm (2x20p for 6 minutes, which was ample time to shower myself and my little boy). There is a laundry and dish washing room to the side of the farmhouse, although we didn't use these facilities.
The on site shop sells milk, bread, bacon, eggs, basic groceries and household items etc and is open for a couple of hours in the morning from about 8am and then again late afternoon. Next to this is a little tourist information room with leaflets on attractions in the area. Fortunately, we were blessed with fantastic weather on all but one of the days of our stay, so we just headed out to the many beautiful beaches in the area. We did take a ride out to South Stack lighthouse and RSPB Seabird Centre at Holyhead one night to watch the sunset and this looked like it would have been a fantastic place to visit during the day. Within a few minutes drive of the campsite are many attractions, including Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm Park, Anglesey Riding Centre, Plas Newydd Country House and Anglesey Model Village. We actually found the beaches on the West Coast of Anglesey to be the nicest. Llanddwyn Bay (approx 10 mins drive from the campsite) is a lovely blue flag beach, with an ample car park, picnic benches and toilet facilities. There are also lots of woodland trails around here. We explored more coves and beaches further up this coast during our stay, all of which were superb.
With regards to places to eat, there is a great little Indian Takeaway in Brynsiencyn village and try the Groeslon Hotel on the corner for a warm, friendly welcome and delicious home cooked food at reasonable prices. The ship over at Red Wharf Bay is good too, but it does get very busy so it's probably advisable to book in advance.
So to summarise, if you want a peaceful holiday in a beautiful location, then this is definitely the place for you. As the owners website clearly states, this is not a site for teenagers, or for those wanting on site bars, clubs and non stop entertainment. However, if you are a family with young children or a couple, then you'd be very hard pressed to beat it. Would I recommend Fron to family and friends? Absolutely 100%. Will we be returning? You bet we will!

Visited with 4 adults and 4 kids between 6 and 11.Arrived on site at about 2 o clock and went into office, was greeted by the lady owner,hm,then her son came in and he was superb. He showed us all around the facilities where everything was and then to our pitch.
We were quite near the road at entrance to site and we could here cars going up and down it through the night, but we weren't on ehu. The ehu pitches are further on site and much more advisable.
Very clean toilets nad always maintained.Good cutlery cleaning room, great little park for kids, nice little swimming pool about 12' by 25'. Tiny shop on site but only open 8 till 10 then till 6 I think,ok for milk and a treat for kids.
Local shop about 5 mins drive, pub the same.Nice little indian take away that delivers to site up road. Pilas Palas, sea zoo 10 mins drive. Just a little to close to the road for me, I took ear plugs after reading other reviews and used them, to little avail. But great for the kids.

Visited here over the Bank Holiday weekend. What a lovely site. Only small but this is good especially over the Bank Holiday as each pitch is numbered (so you know you are not going to get over-run with people).
Mark was extremely helpful when we checked in, showing us around etc. We had a pitch next to the play area which was great for keeping an eye on our little ones and the children are all asked to leave as it becomes dark.
The shop is basic but may well stock more during the height of the season.
Toilets and showers clean as was the dishwashing/laundry room.
It was great to have a pool, even if it was very cold, but the children enjoyed it.
Lots of nice places to visit nearby and not too far to travel to a Supermarket.
We will definitely be back next year.

What a beautiful site! Maintained to a high standard. Good sized pitches, beautiful views of Snowdonia. Our daughter's 11 and loved it, out everyday to explore beautiful Anglesey, with its' gorgeous beaches and long list of places to go, and when we returned she played till 9pm with other children on site on nice playground.
Showers are clean, but a little weak. They are warm enough though despite previous whingers. Hook-up only 10 amp, so no electric heaters or household kettles, next door neighbours tripped it using theirs! Mark was a great help, whether it was site info, directions, lending us a gas pipe or giving us a jump start (oops).
Pub 20 mins walk along busy 50mph road with no path but grass verge. Newborough village 5 mins drive away, shop has everything. Newborough beach one of the best we've seen in UK. Curry house up the road delivers (was yummy).
A Chinese and a chip shop in Llanfair, less than 10 mins drive from site. Site has small shop with basics and a room full of tourism leaflets. They have an 'ice-pack freezing' service - 10p each. Laundry room and pot washing facilities more than adequate.
All in all a great site. Will definitely be returning next year. What a beautiful base to explore the gorgeous island of Anglesey and the North-West of Wales.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay here. We actually booked for 3 nights but enjoyed it so much that we stayed for an extra 2 nights. On arrival we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness and overall tidiness of the site. The owners were very welcoming and we were shown around the site by the owners son who was most helpful.
The pitch was lovely and flat and the grass short and good condition and the tent pegs went in easily! There is a children's play area which is great to send the kids to whilst yu are pitching up. It is in the centre of the site so was very safe for kids. I would say that the site is more suited to younger children as there is'nt much to do to occupy teenagers here.
There is a lovely little swimming pool which is open in the afternoons and is great after a day site seeing.
There is a small shop selling essentials which opens for a few hours in the morning and evening, there is a washing and laundry room which is spotlessly clean.
The showers and toilets are the cleanest we have come across, they were spotless and the showers were hot! (don't understand one review which said they were cold!) The showers were 20p for about 4 mins which was enough for myself and daughter to shower.
This is the nicest, most welcoming site that we have been to. It is perfectly placed for visiting all over the island and we are definitely going to return

Stayed here with our vango aspen 600 dlx, they do have a certain pitch space, but this was fine.
Can see the mountains from here. Very clean and well presented. Swings and climbing frame for little ones, football area and small pool.
Had a lovely stay cant fault it just right for us id say its a fairly small site so may not be right for bored teenagers. Have to say showers were fine, but one was much too hot!so a bit of contradiction there!
Really enjoyed the beach and tearooms at aberfraw, and the chinese next to the chip shop in llanfair p.G is v. Cheap.

Just had 10 days on this site.We were welcomed on arrival by mark who waited patiently while we took on 22 gallons of water. We were shown to pitch and left to it.
The site is lovely and clean, the dog area is large enough to exercise any size of dog with no signs of fouling. I found the showers hot enough but required a little maintenance on the risers as they were loose.
The pool was a little cold but you soon got used to it. The owners are very friendly and we had a few chats with them. The rubbish is removed daily and is all separated for recycling. Very quiet in the evening, will be going again.
