We stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend. Firstly the site is lovely and clean. The caravan park is situated behind the house there are a few hardstanding and the rest are grass. However the majority are not flat.
The childrens play area is great but it is located in the tent field so people with younger children would not be able to keep a close eye on them. The children are allowed bicylces as long as they follow the one way system, which was safe.
There is a shop but this is only open for a few hours a day but there is a Spar close by if you need essentials. There is a small pool but we didn't use this so cannot comment.
The downside to this site is the showers. Although the toilets and showers are spotlessly clean (although very dated) however, (I do believe that they will be updating them) the water pressure was poor and cold. In our party there were 4 adults and 5 children and none of us had a warm shower during our stay.
The other problem was the electricty, we put the kettle on and the heating together and it tripped so you had to be wary of what electricity you were using. Also one evening a section of caravans had no electricity at all and it didn't come back on until the following morning, we didn't have an explanation for this.
There is a dishwashing room which has good facilities but children are not allowed in here(not even with an adult). If you have older children and they help out with dishwashing chores then I'm afraid it will be just down to the adult.
I must say the views are fantastic. Overall a quiet site which is a good base for exploring a lovely island.

We have got back from this site today, so here is my up to date review.
This Family run site is lovely and clean, a credit to the owners.
It has flat tent pitches which are all within throwing distance from the play area.
The Owner comes around to the play area at 10pm to send all the children that are still out, home, which we thought was great. Also there is a parking area for your car (so no-one drives past your tent so kids are safe) with something under the grass to stop your car from getting bogged down if the weather is bad.
A dishwashing room which also has a washer and tumble dryer (which pleased my Mrs).
There is a small shop plus a nice pool.
The only thing I would say is that the showers aren't that powerful but they are trying to sort it out, the Welsh Water came and did something whilst we were there which did improved the pressure.
This is a great site for families, its quiet, no pubs for around a mile or so, the owners are lovely people, just what we wanted so we hopefully will be there in the Summer hols too if they have room.

This site has all you need, good level pitches with hookups, small shop, swimming pool, play area, and the owner gives you a tour of the camp site. There was some noise due to it being near a main road but not too bad further up the site. Toilets and showers were very clean but the shower units are only 3kw and need to be updated to 7kw so as to have a hot shower not a tepid one. All in all a very pleasant site well worth the visit.

Looking at their web site I really thought this was going to be a cracking site - not so. Main concern was that the caravan pitches are located behind the main house and the children's play area is well out of sight in the tent field. This meant that we could not keep an eye on our 4 year old and relax outside the caravan at the same time! Also very strict - I am all in favour of a few general rules and guidelines, but they are a bit over the top - everywhere you look there is a sign telling you what not to do! Also caravan pitches are not flat, so bring plenty of wood for under the corner steadies.

A big disappointment, we have been camping for over 10 years and were looking forward to this 5 star site, however there were only a handful of toilets and showers for the whole campsite (which meant you had to time your visit) although they were kept very clean, they were very dated in design and lacked such things as a hook to hang your towel on when having a wash, showers were 20p which was not mentioned on the web page and as water pressure was low the best you could hope for was a tepid sprinkle. The site is next to a main road so there is constant traffic noise and nearby there would appear to be boarding kennels so as 5.00am comes round you get a cacophony of barking dogs joining in the dawn chorus. Camp site itself is level but lacks wind shelter whereas the caravan pitch at the rear is on an incline. Shop opens for just a couple of hours a day and has very sparse provisions so isn't much use and the pool only opens 1.30pm til 6.30pm and is very small.
Be warned if taking an electric hook up as there is a list of things they don't like you to use and a threat of being disconnected if you don't follow their instruction! As far as the 5 star rating goes I have stayed on 4 star sites with far superior amenities and services, this site at best would only get 3 stars and they should really look at updating as they charge for a site that should provide much more, Anglesey has many camp sites to stay in so they should really look to come out the dark ages and move with the times to compete

Just returned from this excellent site. It is run by a very friendly family and enjoys fantastic views and facilities. An ideal site for children who are well catered for with plenty of room to play, a playground and outdoor pool. We found it an ideal base to visit the island or just to stay on site and relax. I would highly recommend a visit.

A very well-run site, maintained to high standards by the owners. Good sized, level touring pitches - although the touring area is a bit exposed when the wind gets up, which it did a lot whilst we were here. Where possible, take the owners advice and select a pitch backing onto the hedge / trees - you'll be glad of the extra shelter! The children's playground kept junior amused, as did the pool, although longer opening hours would have been better - it was only open in the afternoons. Toilet block, dish-washing facilities etc. Were immaculate, although a little dated. There was another, more modern toilet block on site which remained closed, which was a bit surprising as weekend visitors meant that the touring pitches were at least 75% full, and the extra facilities would have been useful. Overall, a quiet, pretty, and very well-run site which is a good base for exploring the island.

We have just come back from a weekend stay. Lovely clean site with neat flower borders and mowed grass. A little too near the main road for us, road noise could be heard at all times. Pool smaller than it looked and when cover was over it felt like we were all sharing a bath together. Open camping area which made it vulnerable in strong winds (which we had that weekend, some tents opposite were damaged and others had abandoned theirs for their cars). Lovely play area which could be seen from all tent pitches. Caravans had a separate field which had the lovely views of sun going down in the evening. Toilet blocks were clean, 2 of the loos had inadequate lighting, showers and hairdryer were 20p. (not in site info). Shop closed in the day. My children asked the wardens when the pool would be open (should have been 1.30 but at 1.50 no sign of anyone) they were very excited, but they were told 'we are having our lunch, LATER!, not very friendly. Overall I would give it 6/10.

We booked this site without benefit of many reviews on here. However the campsite’s own website was encouraging. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff who showed us around the park and gave us a choice of pitches in the tent field, even telling us which way the prevailing wind blew and allowing us to be away from the children’s play area. Pitches are well marked and are a very good size with lots of space in front of which no-one is allowed to pitch. They are also flat and the grass is well cared for. The toilet and shower blocks are kept spotlessly clean but they are not the most modern we’ve experienced. Showers are coin operated (20p) and water pressure is quite low. Boys are not allowed in the women’s block but there is a unisex shower for those who need to take young children of the opposite sex. It does say on the website that there is disabled facilities but we did not see these? The shop is very basic and just stocks essentials however there is a Spar just a few minutes drive away. The swimming pool has just been renovated and has a brand new removable poly tunnel style cover over it. We did go in and it was lovely and warm in the ‘tunnel’ but the water was a bit chilly when getting in. We saw many fantastic beaches in the area, ideal for those who like to swim and paddle in the sea but not ‘seasidey’ like Blackpool…Which suited us fine! The tent field gets the morning and early evening sun and the views over Snowdonia. The caravan field gets one of the most fantastic sunsets we’ve ever seen with marvellous views over the hills and countryside. At £16 per night with EHU this a very good, value for money site. Well worth a visit and an ideal place to explore the island from

Nice quiet site. Fantastic location. No idiots. Nice place to chill out. Outdoor pool small but big enough to have a laugh in. Toilet block very clean and tidy. There is even a shop open in the morning and the late afternoon. Will definitely visit again.
