We really enjoyed our stay at this site, starting with a warm welcome from Albert who showed us a few pitch options.
The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water. The site overall is very well kept and a great location.
It is a short walk from Angmering where we eat a delicious meal in the new pizzeria, The Stone Room, after having a drink in the Resourceful Squirrel.
We were visiting friends who live nearby and will definitely stay here again.

Lovely site, very spacious pitches. WC & Showers were top quality and spotless.
We were greeted by the owner and shown the site and our pitch. He even popped over to apologise for some celebration going on miles away (we could barely hear anything)
Close to Littlehampton and Arundel (we cycled to both comfortably) would highly recommend and his site makes a great long weekend venue.
You will see we gave neutral feedback regarding the child friendliness, this was because there were no children on site during our visit.

This was our third visit to Acorns. This is a lovely small quiet site which is kept to a very high standard by Albert and Pam.
Spotless toilets and showers.
An ideal location with pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the delightful village of Angmering and a short drive to Arundel.
We will return. Highly recommended.

Very peaceful with abundant birdlife and a great place to relax.
Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Showers/toilets are well maintained and spotlessly clean.
But other than that there are no additional "facilities" or entertainment. Take your camping gear, listen to the birds and enjoy the surroundings

Booked for a weekend here as a circuit breaker from our everyday lives and we were not disappointed.
Nestled in woodland this beautifully kept site was peaceful and relaxing.
The owners were more than helpful and the washing facilities and showers and loos were immaculate.
We'll be back for sure! Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at Acorns and will definitely go back again.
The owners were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It’s close to the A road but we didn’t notice any road noise.
The site is a lovely, large field next to the owners home surrounded by woodland and the pitches are spacious and the washroom facilities were modern and very clean.
It was a very easy drive to Arundel and we were able to park our small motorhome easily and for free on the road alongside the castle and at the WWT Centre.

Very nice campsite with friendly people. The sanitary is very clean!
Campsite is near the A27, but that’s no problem because you don’t hear the noise in the night.

My partner and I stayed here with our young but arthritic labrador over the jubilee weekend.
We stayed in a camper van and had a pup tent next to our car to stash extra 'furniture' and for an emergency extra bedroom for banished snorers! (The campsite owner treated it as an awning for the booking).
The site was quite empty, which was a surprise just three other vehicles/caravans, but that suited us as our dog is prone to barking when ppl walk past our pitch.
We chose to be in 'the glade', a spacious grassy area surrounded by trees and next to the woodland walk - a short circular stroll with a laid out path. We didn't have an electric pitch, but we were told to trail our cable over a bush to the next pitch if we wished. [Those pitches being next to a fenced off pond and, over the rainy weekend, liable to get soggy].
It did mean we were furthest from the loo block but it's not too far, and nice through' the wood, where we did see deer and heard owls.
The toilet blocks are key code entry, very clean, warm and nice to use. The showers are hot, fast and clean also. Between male and female facilities are the washing up area and disabled bathroom. There is also a noticeboard and a shelf of books for borrowing.
Recycling boxes are provided to each pitch to help you sort and deliver your rubbish to the bins. The bins are near the gate and kept tidy and the gates are kept closed when arrivals are not expected.
The water tap is at the start of the path through the site and easy to locate.
We were greeted warmly by the host and his very fluffy cat. His house is in the middle of the whole site but hedged off from the camper's area so unobtrusive really.
The campsite is a 15 minute walk to the village where there is a co-op, pubs, a chip shop (that the Queen herself appeared to be frequenting) and other businesses around the village green. A larger supermarket was a short drive away and there was an indian takeaway not too far away.
The site was fairly level in most places, quite well draining after the torrential rain we had and mostly peaceful. There is, however, a nearby raceway and Saturday was stock car racing. This did mean that there was a very low but persistent drone of cars racing all day Saturday until 6pm. When the racing wasn't on, there was a much fainter traffic noise from distant traffic on a main road somewhere. (I may be more sensitive than some to noise).
The very small slopes out of the washing up/loo areas were quite slippy after the rain and could do with some attendance.
I would definitely recommend this site for friendliness, cleanliness, facilities, ambience and for being so close to shops/ village/ beaches and walking in the Downs. I would have liked to stay longer.
