Lovely maintained lawn area and big pitches. Friendly hosts and laid back feel to the place. Having the llamas to look out on was lovely.
Toilets were clean and nice to see full composting options - shame other site users can't be bothered to recycle!
I didn't go into the shower block so can't comment on them.
Pubs and Spar shop in walking distance. We went to the Blue Bowl pub which was also welcoming.
Would recommend for short stays.

What a find! This delightful, proudly maintained site is excellent value for money and is located in beautiful walking countryside.
To be able to access a variety of rambles directly from the site is a real treat, especially along the ancient, wooded Roman road, which is in family ownership.
The owners are very friendly, the alpacas ditto, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Brilliant, and thank you!

The toilet block was in dire need of a re build.
We loved every thing else about the site.
The owner gave us directions of a very nice walk straight from the site.

One of those sites you want to keep to yourself so they always have room for you.
Quiet, rural, large level well mown field. So spacious & well looked after.
Showers hot instantly, no minute of cold water and gradual warm up. Lovely people too. In our book to return to.

We enjoyed our visit very much, the site is quiet lays well back from the
Main road. Well maintained, showers and toilets clean and were regularly cleaned during the day.
Owners and helper were friendly and helpful couldn't have asked for more. We were even able to extend our stay by one
Night which enabled us to spend a bit more time with our son who lives in Bristol and had to work part of the time during our visit.
Bristol is 13 miles from site and a nightmare for strangers to navigate, best to visit between 11. 00am and 3. 00pm. 20mph in most streets.

Everything is well organised from the point of booking to receiving a text message with arrival details incl pitch number. It is a lovely family feel on the campground.
We loved the Alpacas, had eggs off the chickens and made good use of the firewood for sale.
Simon and Jane were excellent in giving directions, advice about the local area or stopped to have a chat to get to know us.
All the facilities were clean and Covid-19 measures were in place.
The location is ideal for trips to Bristol, Bath, Cheddar Gorge (just to name a few) and the closest pub in 5min walking distance.

Lovely site in lovely setting just beneath Mendip Hills. Good flat pitch on grass and friendly helpful managers.
Showers/toilets a bit basic but overall site makes up for that
Friendly Alpacas as well!
Good pub, the Blue Bowl just down the road, which I would recommend.
Overall, a nice friendly and quiet site, which would make a good base for a few days stay in a really beautiful area

Had a wonderful stay st Gosswood Park. Lovely setting and although basic facilities never had to wait for showers or toilets. Also had a fridge and freezer.
Lovely host, Jane, who was looking after the site for the owners, very helpful.
Pub just up the road.
Very good value,
Would highly recommend this site.

Our first motorhome experience! We had a lovely few days visiting family in Bristol- exploring Ashton Court, the downs and footpaths around Chew valley lake.
The site was immaculately kept, quiet, great facilities, really friendly owners.
We loved the alpacas and even have a fleece to spin!
