We stayed here for easter weekend 2011. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the excellent weather helped. The site owner was very easy going and friendly. The site facilities were basic but clean, but we didn't expect any more at £15 per pitch per night. The site fees were excellent value in our opinion.
There was plenty of room for the kids to play and the is a good pub 5=10 minutes walk up the road. You do need to book a table at the pub as we found they had no tables left, it was Easter
The field only allows 5-6 units so was very quiet at night.
The site is near cheddar gorge and is a short drive away from Longleat and weston super mare. Longleat is a must see if you stay in the area.
We really enjoyed staying here and so did the friends we went with and would consider staying at greenacres again.
The site has a small play area next to the chickens. The toilet block has one male and two female toilets, the shower area was still been finished when we stayed. The owner and his wife were very helpful during our stay. Great small family run site!

My Wife & I visited here the late May bank holiday. Indeed as I sit writing we returned home only 1 hour ago.
The site is fantastic, only basic facilities at present. There are toilets (2 for the ladies & 1 for gents) and they appear to be cleaned regularly. There are also electric hook-up points for some of the pitches, all of which are a really decent size.
Whilst we were there there we a few caravans and also a few tents all spread around the outside of what is a decent sized field, ideal for those with kids for just messing around on, kicking a ball or two or even for the budding cricketer.
Also it's ideally situated for Bristol, Wells, Weston-Super-Mare and the surrounding area. A fantastic shop is available about 1 mile away in the village of West Harptree and this should provide for most needs.
We visited the pub opposite the shop (The Crown I think it's called) for lunch during our stay and the food was good, we also drove by The Blue Bowl, which although we didn't frequent looks like a very nice place to enjoy some food, and judging by the number of cars in the car park it's also very popular, better still it's only a few hundred yards from the site, so very well situated.
The site is close to Chew Valley Lake and on our way home we passed the entrance road to the visitor centre / Tea Room and I'm sure we'll get there next time round.
The one drawback is that there are no showers on the site, if you have a caravan with these in then you're sorted, but for those who do not have access to any shower facilities it could cause a few issues, but from a conversation we had with the owners we had the impression that they are considering upgrades and hopefully showers are part of the proposals being considered. Having said that we loved the site and the owners were very friendly, helpful and above all seem willing to listen to ideas and take on board what people say. I know for sure we'll be back, hopefully pretty soon.
