We stayed here for two nights, there were about 10 units on site at the same time as us.
Loads of space between units, facilities toilets/showers, dishwashing sinks, are okay, but you are asked not to fill the sinks with hot water if someone is having a shower, all clean and tidy.
Grass was quite long so you get wet feet on way to toilet block, on the whole value for money

This site is half an hour from home, but it ticks all the boxes for us. What makes it special is that it reminds me of the type of campsites I visited as a kid with my parents.
It's a simple site with a really lovely atmosphere, a lovely welcome, and is pretty, open & spacious with good views.
An excellent pub less than 10 minutes walk, a couple of local villages nearby, lots of walks and the lakes (reservoirs) nearby.
Facilities are good, it has everything you need, dishwashing, fridge/freezer, toilets, showers, eggs available from the free range barns on the farm.
Will definitely be back soon.

We had a week on this site, which was lovely. 5 nights with ehu a couple without. Toilets and showers basic but quite adequate.
Washing up area undercover which was great and sometimes there is some space in the fridge and freezer to use. Was rather noisy on the Saturday night (bank holiday weekend) but the rest of the week was silent all day and night.
EXCELLENT pub within 5 minutes walking distance, serving great portions of pub grub - burgers were brilliant value. Location was in the centre of Bath, Bristol and Cheddar and suited us, but possible that it would be too remote for some people.
None of the 2, 000 chickens on this site bothered us either! Close by to the Lake which I guess you could walk to if you wanted to.

Excellent peaceful site with neat simple complete facilities. Friendly reception.
Near Chew Valley lake for fishing and birds. Woken by dawn chorus of throughsh, blackbird, robin, chaffinch, swallows, house martins, chiff chaff.
Excellent pub restaurant 5 minutes walk away (The Blue Bowl).

Simon and Jo were very friendly and helpful from the moment of booking our stay at Greenacres. We stayed in the Bell tent which was large and tastefully decked out, with everything we needed for our glamping stay.
Lovely fresh eggs from the farm which we would recommend you try.
A beautiful peaceful location, yet close enough to Bristol for shopping and surrounding areas for other attractions.
We will definitely stay there again and would recommend this camping and caravan site.

A very peaceful well located site with excellent owners. It meets its aim of being a comfortable simple site with no hassle.
Flat, open, with views and adequate clean facilities. The shower rooms were family sized but the water could run hot-cold-hot if you turned it off and on - so keep it running. All you need if a quiet country holiday is your aim.
Plenty to do in the area and the Blue Bowl pub does very good food and is within walking distance.
There was one hardstanding and 4 grass pitches. We were there 3 nights but would have stayed a week if we hadn't had a commitment.
We had a problem with the motorhome and Simon was a great help.

A recent new addition to my Daughters' family in Bristol meant we wanted to visit and needed somewhere nearby to stay, and after searching the 'web', Greenacres Farm seemed to be suitable and not too far to travel to her and the baby.
Our journey from Portsmouth was uneventful and arrival at the site was made easy thanks to the Sat Nav directions.
The entrance is nicely signposted, and we had no problems finding the site. The first road into the farm was fine, but the second road into the camping field was full of potholes, which we found a bit of a nuisance.
Arriving at the camping field we found a board telling us which number pitch was ours and setting up our caravan from thereon was quite straightforward.
The pitch was huge and clearly numbered and marked out, with electric hookup conveniently at the rear.
A certified site with basic amenities, the shower house with it's two shower rooms was more than adequate with loads of coat hooks and chairs upon which to put towels etc.
Toilets were again adequate and as with the shower block were always kept clean and well stocked.
There were also washing up facilities with well stocked cleaning supplies, although being in our own caravan these weren't needed.
The grass in the camping field was well maintained and kept short so that even on a damp morning there were no problems.
As has been mentioned in other reviews, the owner was indeed very hospitable and friendly; 'brilliant' having been previously used, allowing us to look around the facilities at our leisure.
The rest of the family are also very friendly with a smile and a wave whenever we saw them. Thank you.
The scenery in the surrounding area is quite lovely, with many rolling hills and large fishing lakes to compliment the views. Ideal for walkers and ramblers, I should think.
The local inn - The Blue Bowl, provided an excellent and not overly expensive Sunday lunch one day and was superb in all aspects - well done.
In the two weeks of our stay in September, we were lucky in that it only rained once, and that was during the night - which was great, and on the clear nights without city light pollution, the stars were incredible and seemed to go on forever.
Wildlife was unusual too, in the early morning and late afternoon we were entertained by Swifts swooping over the grass and some nights we could hear a couple of species of Owl in the nearby fields.
A huge Buzzard also ruled the skies and was often seen over the site, my binoculars had never been so hot.
Altogether, a very clean, tidy and friendly site which we have no hesitation in recommending to anyone wishing to visit the area, whether Bristol, Cheddar or any of the other superb attractions, or simply passing through and wanting a quiet and relaxing break in a friendly environment.
Many Thanks to all at Greenacres Farm for a lovely quiet time, and who knows, one day we may meet again. Our regards to you all.

Greenacres, a small and well hidden sight/site.
My daughter and I had arranged to meet friends who had stayed there last year. All there was to identify the site was a small but perfectly formed CCC sign. Greenacres is still a working farm, we passed 4000 free range chickens on the way in. We found the field in which we were to camp. Along with a sign specifically for us, welcoming us to the site and leaving us the phone numbers should there be a problem. Besides us there were 3 caravans/campers. Using some of the electric hook ups, from what I could see, about 5.
The shower unit was basic. A summer house, washing up in facilities as you walk in and a shower room either side. Each one had plenty of room to move. The best thing about the wash up area. A fridge and a freezer for 'our' use. Fantastic, no more wasted milk!
I also found a 'spare' plug point, useful for charging a phone when you're washing up. As previous reviews have said 2 women's toilets 1 men's. It's such a small site they are more than adequate. Clean, (nice toilet roll)and the niceties of hand wash. Boot wash, rubbish area and chemical toilet area, but having no idea about chemical toilets I can only assume elsan is toilets for caravans.
Outside the wash area there is a small play area consisting of a slide, climbing frame, a swing and swing suitable for a younger child or one with balance or mobility problems. A few animals well penned in, sheep and chickens. Lovely for young children to look at.
The owner was brilliant. He came to introduce himself when my friends arrived. Gave us a mini tour of the farm and the 4000 chickens. He said we could use the barn to sleep in if it was needed. We were there Aug Bank Holiday and the area had been issued severe weather warning, winds and rain. He was really accommodating.
Close to Weston Super Mare for a fish and chip supper, Cheddar Gorge for a an awe inspiring walk. We even made it to Stone Henge.
The only downside which was beyond anybody's control. The rain. We got a bit muddy and squelchy. The grass could have been cut. No worries. We bought wellies.
All in all. Brilliant little quiet site. The welcome was generous but not overwhelming. The other clientele friendly. The site clean.

Having just returned from the August Bank Holiday at this campsite we enjoyed 3 nights (well if you can enjoy 2 nights of rain!) but very pleased to say that despite all the rain the site never turned into a mud bath. It is a well drained site.
The owner was very polite, friendly and chatty. The facilities are basic but cleaned during the day more than once. There are two showers which have quite a large area to dress in. Still 1 male toilet and 2 female toilets on the site as previous review mentions.
There are 7 electric hook ups which we may use next time.
We will go back to this site again as it was very relaxing.
We visited the Blue Bowl which is just up the road from the campsite and also the Ring o Bells but Kylie wasn't there! She was there previously though!
