Plenty of space to kick a ball and other field activities (additional field if main field too busy).
Secure campsite with code operated gate and friendly hosts

Great campsite with heated showers and clean toilets, sink to do your dishes, water access for your campervan or else.
There's everything tbh. Surrounded by fields, nice walks with kids and the family dog. 5 minutes drive from petrol station, restaurants, pubs.
He owner, Ian is super helpful and lovely.
Highly recommended and will come back.

Very friendly and relaxed. Lots of room and flat pitches.
Was on grass pitch with electric which was very easy to get into and off.
Clean, tidy and would use again.
Good location for Ironman event near to start and easy access to Bolton.

Good little site. Mostly grass pitches but I got one of the hard standing pitches. Owner/Manager very hands-on and helpful.
Level pitches. EHU. Water from a stand pipe and grey and black waste was easy to dispose of.
Other facilities need a bit of modernising. No hot water for washing or washing up. Coin operated showers/wet rooms were good. Toilets need some work.
Clean enough but a lot of cobwebs that had been there some time. Cistern took a long time to fill so sometimes there was evidence of previous visits.
Very easy to get to. Very secure. I would visit again.

I would like to thank Ian and his wife for their kindness in finding space for us late on a busy weekend.
They were both warm and friendly.
The following day my wife took I’ll and they kindly extended our stay to help us with our emergency

Fantastic experience, the quad bike and trailer taking our tent and bags to the pitch added to the experience for the kids.
Huge huge field, scenic view, pitches very spaced out and marked where grass was mowed.
Addition of a kids playground near cafe to keep kids occupied while adults take a breather would be brilliant!

Easy access to RHS Bridgwater which was the main purpose of our visit.
Friendly welcome from owner and site manager.
Secure fencing made it feel a little like a gulag.
Facilities very tired and no hot water for washing up.
Adjacent road rather noisy.
