Very good.
This is the second time we have stayed at Littlesea over the years and it's certainly gone up in my estimation.
This time we came with our two year old granddaughter who loved the facilities; especially the swimming pool as it was her first proper dip in the water.
Yes, it rained while we were there and we came back home a day early due to the down pouring from the heavens, but you can only blame the almighty for that!
The site wardens were great, very informative and friendly. The last time we came there was, if I remember rightly, just an outside drain for grey water waste. Now they seem to be dotted all over the site which also boasts (to me at least) the very best Elsan point I've come across so far.
There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools for infants and adults, the play facilities a little over engineered and expensive looking (a few more simple slides and climbing frames perhaps?) but on the whole a host of nightly entertainment including 'drag the child back kicking and screaming to the caravan'.

First I must say how pleased I was with the reception from Jan and Ken the resident wardens, they couldn’t have been more helpful.
The shower blocks were very nice and clean with free hairdryers and underfloor heating.
The pitches are quite tight together where they have built fences to stop people walking through pitches.
The site is very windy and we had really bad weather and a few tents left washed out presumably, not a fault of the site though.
Most of the site gives you a sea view and the tent pitches (no ehu) were near the Nature reserve.
There are quite a few travellers on site and they came and went A LOT in their white vans during the day, they didn’t seem to be any trouble though besides for their constant driving around the site.
There is a bus which takes you to Weymouth and the fare is now £2. 70 return, and bus passes are accepted with no charge for the dog.
There is a spar shop on site which although is usually expensive do have some offers on and sells all the things things you need.
There is a really nice and smart complex which house all the usual like pizza and costa coffee a pub called the mash and Barrel and entertainment every night.
There is a crazy golf and an indoor and outdoor pool the outdoor one not being open yet when were there.
Security came round most evening more visible during the weekend.
There are a few statics on the perimeter of the site and a few being moved around by tractor.
A few vans had to get towed out by the tractors as we had a really bad week weather wise and most of the pitches were muddy and waterlogged and the warden had to cone off a few of the roads as they got entrenched by the tyres of the vans when being pulled out.
We had a great offer price wise but wouldn’t be happy paying the prices charged in high season here, they need to do something with the pitches to make them better.
I don’t think they should mix tents (with ehu) with caravans though as some of the tents are large and are quite close to the back of the vans and as we all know noise travels and they had a few complaints about that.

Visited over a 4 day stay in April and although the drive through the industrial site was a bit of a worry, the campsite was clean and tidy, although caravans were really squashed in.
The entertainment area was crammed full of arcade machines which eat money. Mash & Barrel was expensive and portions were small. Had to wait ages to be served. There was no where to sit in the Entertainment Hall.
Caravan itself I had no complaints about. It was clean and comfortable (although the single beds were really lumpy).
Swimming pool was overcrowded every time we went. They could do with running session times. Changing rooms were dirty and floor completely soaking all of the time.
Worst of all though, during the stay, helicopter noise from nearby base flew overhead for 2 days and, on one night, kept hovering above until gone midnight, which made it impossible to relax, watch TV or even sleep. When I made a formal complaint, Haven apologised but point blank refused to compensate even as a goodwill gesture as 'it was out of their control' - even after stating that I could have had a full refund if I had left immediately (which admits some kind of fault!). Not sure how they can say the noise is out of their control when they have chosen to run a holiday park next door to it.
Weymouth is a typical seaside town. Lovely sandy beach. I wouldn't go back to Haven though.

We visited right at the end of September and due to the mini heatwave stayed on for a few extra nights.
The touring area is a fair way from the amenities but that is the only downside.
Pitches were fairly level, and generous.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, Jan and Ken the touring wardens were exceptional.
Toilets and Showers were spotlessly clean, hot but you only got about 15 seconds per press.
Entertainment couldn`t be faulted and bar prices were cheaper than my local.
Food was of reasonable quality.
There was a bus service into Weymouth directly from the site.
Seems like the touring pitches are gradually being reduced to accommodate statics which is a real shame as this is a great site and terrific value early or late season.

We went to haven littlesea in august this year for 4 nights, we found the site easily signposted though through a small industrial estate.
The security guards were very friendly. We had no one to take us to our pitch was given a a map with directions on, we were told the people wasn't in to show to our pitch, we were in the nature reserve which is situated behind the tourers,
the pitches on this part of the site had no numbers, on the map given to us we were shown roughly where to pitch up by going by how many tents were there already, and on top off the hill there was no lighting on this area so you had to dodge the guide ropes,
this is all we could fault on the touring field as the shower/toilet were spotless with a small play area out the front
I do feel the touring area is an after thoght as you are afair way away from amenities,
The on site entertainment we couldn, t fault as we were kept entertained, the only downfall is for the size of the holiday camp it could do with being 2 times larger as it was full every night and I felt it could have been a fire risk with people and buggies,
The pool and surrounding activities were superb and the funstars made this holiday great would recommend to people with families

The site is situated in the usual Haven locations, on the edge of an industrial estate. Please don't let that put you off, the site is beautiful and has amazing facilities.
We had a great welcome from the managers of the site, very professional and polite. We had a great pitch overlooking the coast and the cliffs.
However the wind and rain was horrific. We could not put anything outside the van in fear of it been blown away and the van just rocked in the wind all night. This cannot be helped by the site, they cannot control the weather.
Fortunately there was loads to do on site, swimming was good, arcades, characters breakfast, we all had a nice time and would return. I would however ask for a pitch towards the back of the site next time to get some shelter.

Just had a Friday to Tuesday stay at Littlesea which was our 3rd Haven holiday this year,
Not usually one for moaning but the site isn't the easiest to find unless you've got sat nav which normally we don't tend to rely on especially with a caravan in tow.
It's situated at the end of an industrial estate and is very poorly signposted unlike most Haven parks.
The staff on arrival were very helpful from security to the wardens all well organised.
The whole site is in very good condition and is listed as 5* it is a hilly site and the touring field is situated at the top of a fairly big hill quite out of the way of everything.
We paid extra for a sea view(i wouldn't bother) which wouldn't have been bad except it was more of an estuary than sea.
The touring field is all grassed and all pitched are separated by mini logs/posts they are a good size.
Both tents and tourers share the same field which isn't a problem but it does look very overcrowded it feels like the whole touring site was a bit of an afterthought, a bit of spare land at the top of a hill so lets make it a touring field and cram as many pitches on as we can. The shower block is immaculate and the only grumble about it is the showers only stay on for maximum 8-10 seconds before you have to push the button again, not enough to wet you head to toe.
Entertainment was as good as ever in a fairly large club a bit of a struggle getting through with a buggy due to all the seating packed in close together but this is the same at all sites so not a moan at littlesea.
Weymouth and surrounding areas are beautiful and would recommend anyone a visit. There's a little tapas bar on Weymouth sea front makes a nice change from fish and chips and is good value.
Don't bother trying to park on the sea front at Weymouth you'll drive up and down all day, go to the car park near where the ferry leaves from it's not expensive and is only a 5 min walk to town centre. The weather on this holiday was a bit of a spoiler raining through the night every night very windy every day up until around 11 am then it turned nice for the rest of the day.
Beware when it's windy on the touring field it is very windy and not pleasant.
Would we return to weymouth ? yes. Would we choose littlesea again ?. Possibly not, it just didn't do it for us sorry haven

The site is in a lovely area and you have a great view of chesil beach.
I came in 2010 in July and stayed in a tent, we were situated right by the sea with no cover for wind at all, at first we thought it was lovely had we known better.
At night it was so raining and windy we went through two tents in the week and ended up going home early! The last night our tent was so ruined we couldn't sleep in it and went to ask reception what we could do they said they 'tried' finding us a caravan but had none )
Anyways I came back this year and decided to stay in a caravan and had the best time ever! it was so comforting knowing you were not going to get blown away (even though the weather was gorgeous)
The caravan was spotless, we had a lovely view on the beach and not other peoples caravans.
The facilities on site were always goood and the food is reasonably priced and tasty! If like us you don't have children then the mash and barrel is a great place to go at night as they have quizzes on and pool/darts.

This is the second year running I been here and both times loved it, the pitches are now edged with wooden fences so no more people walking through your tent/pitch. Toilets very clean and well maintained. Is quite windy on the tent and touring part but this year I have a caravan so not too bad. Swimming pool indoor and outdoor is brilliant, also a very good spar shop. Chippy is a bit rubbish for the price and crazy golf I thought was pretty dear. Enjoyed the tennis courts and arcades. Thought it was bad that some activities you have to pay extra for even though you have passes. The walking paths both ways along coast are lovely with some good views. All in all I'm coming back next year

This was our first time at a haven site and I'm afraid it will be the last. The site was easy to find and checking in was simple. We was told where to go for our pitches which was very stony and very earthy and not much grass.
Because the touring area is on a hill there was a lot of wind but we only had it for the first day (not what you really want that when putting up your tent)after a splintered pole and a lot of bent pegs and with the help of others we had the tent up. There was not a lot for us to do the entertainment was rubbish and the club house is small and very hot.
The arcade was very big and we couldn't fault the swimming pools. The on site shop was very basic but had what we needed but there is a asda 10 mins away. We stayed back at tent every night but our neighbours were very loud laughing and shouting till gone 1. 30 in the morning but eventually we fell asleep.
The next night we were outside having a drink with friends at 10. 30 not being loud and we had security come up and say keep the noise down even though we wasn't making any.
There was nothing for the kids to do apart from swim and swim and swim or go to the arcade. Haven holidays says that the fun starts at haven.
