Me and my partner stayed here for the weekend. Its not a bad campsite bt it had its up sides and its downsides. Toilet and shower block were portacabins and we didn't understand why as there is a proper brick building behind them which doesn't seem 2 be in use but the showers were nice and hot, the shower and toilet block closes at 10pm which is not good if you need the loo in the night.
The pitches r very close together when it is busy there bt you can leave your car by the tent. Its a family site so it is very noisy most of the time. There is a nice club house on site but in my opinion is too small when the site is busy and it has great entertainment, we didn't get chance to try out the pool or any other facilities so cant comment on them. Also everyone seemed to know each other there which made me and my partner feel like outsiders. There are a few pubs near the site which again we didn't go to and there are not many takeaway places but they do food on site in the club house. Overall its not the worst site in the world and I would consider going there again

My friend and I took our children camping here. Great site to pitch a tent. Not an overly large site, but we liked it. The showers / toilets weren't the best but I've used worse.
The club house is great with a brilliant kids club. Food/drink are reasonably priced. Lovely area to explore.
Price to camp with out hookup was pretty cheap.
Would definitely go back, only draw back is the size of the indoor pool - its more like a splash pool.

An alright site. Good response and quickly shown to a pitch after our late arrival (M25!).
Nice and close to a beach, good playground for the children and good clubhouse/children's entertainment.
Showers not so good in the mornings - water pressure drop made using them pointless.
For the high price paid for a non-electric pitch, probably wouldn't visit again.

My friend and I and our four children (aged 4-10) stayed at this site in our tent. The children LOVED it and were all very sad to leave. We also enjoyed our stay here and would certainly go back. However, as a previous reviewer said, everyone did seem to know each other and we felt a bit like we were invading their territory. The club house was small but we went in the height of season and always got a seat and had a good night. I think because it has a lot of older people owning their own sites, its only the families who use the club house and it certainly wasn't over run with children despite being August.
The toilets were pretty basic but ok. We normally used them on the way back from the club house at 10pm ish and never used them again so was never aware of the shutting at 10pm as a previous reviewer said (can't imagine that can be the case with people in tents surely!).
The showers, on the other hand, were a nightmare. Hot water but nowhere to hang clothes or towels inside the shower cubicle so there was no choice but to open the door when naked to grab a towel. Even throwing over the top of the door resulted in it getting soaked. We were ok as we (adults) left the kids outside the door to hand us in our towels/clothes once we'd turned the water off but being on your own we couldn't see how it was possible without parading naked!
There is a lot to do in the local area but everything being a drive away (very short drive I must add) but that can be a pain like for us when we had to take 2 cars and pay 2 lots of car park fees everywhere we went.
The children's play area could have been improved slightly - our children weren't interested in it really.
The swimming pool was small for the size of the park and there was no where to change so had to come out with towels wrapped round us and change back at the tent - which again is a pain. Pool was also so over crowded you couldn't move - never mind swim.
Over all, an average park and although we possibly would return (as the kids loved it so much) I do think it is very over priced for what they offer.

We were a group of 13 and stayed over the bank holiday. We had a nice time and were pleasantly pleased with the site. We were on a field with the play area which was excellent for our young children to go off and play but still be in view. The area was also big enough for ball games in the middle. I was pleased that the showers and toilet blocks were better than expected, they are semi permanent, but are not that bad and though the did get a bit grubby (as would be expected) were cleaned regularly. On our first night we ate at the club house, the food was served quickly though was not brilliant, but if you don't want to cook after setting up it is handy and the kids were not bothered by the quality! We went to Port Lymne one day and Camber sands the next both about half an hour drive, be prepared to climb lots of hills! First night we were woken up by some loud people leaving the club house but after that it was fine. Security do drive round checking on everything during the evening. The site has a pool and sauna and arcades though we did not bother with this as the weather was great. If it had been raining I think we may have checked them out. Would I go back? Possibly.

Just got back from the Bank Holiday break. The site was busy but I have to say well managed with clean toilets and showers. I read reviews after I had booked and thought dohh! But they must have got the brushes out and spent some £££'s around the place. Everywhere was reguarly cleaned, you can't expect a maid to walk around in front of you. All thing considered I highly rate this site. We took a pitch without a hook-up. I didn't use the club house but visited, it was fresh and inviting too with good entertainment apparently. Nearby, the nature reserve is to the left as you leave the site, walk over the small bank don't drive its that close. The staff there were helpful too, there were clipboards and nature trail fact sheets for free. My kids of 2 & 4 loved it. On certain days they have supervised pond dipping. Also in nearby villages are Fair ground rides, Dymchurch railway, boat hire and Port Lyme Zoo. Oh and Sainsburys is a 3 minute drive.

Just spent 4 days at Marlie Farm and wasn't very impressed.
We paid £20 per night which is not good value for money for what you get.
The reception staff were friendly on arrival and directed us to the field and we were told to pitch where we wanted.
The toilets and showers were in Portacabins which wasn't very nice, but they did have free hot water and were warm.
The chemical toilet disposal area had no light which made emptying the cassette a nightmare.
It rained on the first night and the field flooded very quickly and didn't subside during our stay.
The drinking water taps in the field are no good for filling the water tanks because you cant fit a hose to them.
The pool is tiny and the pics on the website are very misleading.
Entertainment in the club is OK and kept the kids happy.
Meals in the bar are very expensive for what you get, The Warren pub is a 10 minute stroll and does carvery on Wednesday night for £7.

Excellent facilities, quiet in the middle of Romney Marsh. Excellent as a cycling base, very quiet lanes good for cycling with the kids.
Showers and toilets very clean and good housekeeping with no games after 9.30 and no noise after 11.00.
Kids of 3 and 1 both enjoyed it.
Will go again

Our first visit for 12 years. Toilets could be cleaner it seems they are not checked during the day, with so many people on site I feel they should be. Dogs not enforced on leads. Dogs running around .Yes on a lead. Just no owner or stake at the end of the lead. Music full blast started 7am finished 3am next morning .We put up with it one night but had to complain the second night. I must say the staff when called were very good. Most of the trouble caused by party of young people. Because of bad parking management we had to move our pitch because party who pitched after us took spaces booked for our party and refused to move so we ended up having to uptents and move into the overspill field. Say no more about that .Water in showers cold most of the time, controls where they can be tampered with by children. Shop stocked very little in the way of staples for the amount of people. But was very clean and staff very friendly , just a thought the times of opening and closing on the door or window would have been helpful.Swimming pool we too were turned away twice in same day Food expensive £1.50 for portion chips(Small).£5.00 for breakfast and I swear you could count the baked beans. The staff everywhere were very friendly and did what they could to help. Club house and entertainment was OK. Childrens play areas good. Overall our party found it expensive .The highlight for the children in our party was seeing the horses. Nice that they were so friendly too.

Well what can I say?!I will start by pointing out that the weekend we stayed was partly wet and windy. This said, the site is not good value for money. What we got for £20 per night was very little. The site is quite untidy, the facilities limited and the touring field was badly drained and eventually flooded. Its quite well situated for day trips into New Romney, dymchurch and Hythe and very little traffic noise. The touring field is big but they really do pack those caravans in like sardines. There is a toilet block which is apparently closed for refurbishment(we saw no evidence of any work being done and the outside looked grim) so portacabins are being used. The washing up area had only cold water and wasnt clean. The swimming pool is laughable: tiny considering the number of units here and run on a 'timing' arrangement. Our kids were turned away twice in one day and didnt bother again. Entertainment is ok. Large bar, garden and small showbar but the entertainment schedule differs depending on the leaflet or billboard so we missed the kids entertainment. The small takeaway counter serves a limited range of meals but is really expensive (£4.50 for a handful of chips and 2 fish fingers in a polystyrene box)
All in all our visit wasnt great and we wont be returning as we have been to better campsites for less money.
