Very nice and well maintained site, lovely big dog run, and very quiet which is what we enjoy.
Adult only site so no noise.
The owners are a lovely couple and very Approachable, they put us onto the best fish and chip shop in Hornsea wow beautiful.
Couldn't have asked for more and we only did one night but certainly be back for a longer stay

A fantastic out of sight park that is suitable for all campers. A very clean environment with toilet and showers.
On arrival we were greeted by the owner who was lovely giving us a campervan pitch near the toilets as requested.
For our one night stay it was perfect and we will be returning.

This is a very clean and tidy site. Lovely, quiet and rural. Very handy for Hornsea and the surrounding East Coast.
The pub in the village is closed due to ill health at the moment which was a bit of a disappointment. This was the only fault we found.

Absolutely loved the touring Park Sheryl and Roy the owners are very friendly and will go to any length to help you out if there is an issue. First thing that appealed to us that it is Adult Only and no groups, the setting is just amazing and away from the main road that isn't that busy even in the main holiday.
When we arrived on site Sheryl was waiting to meet us and gave us a choice of a couple of pitches that were hard standing, rock pegs are needed for the hard standing pitches.
There are a few grass pitches but we were told by Roy work wil start again putting in another 10 hard standing pitches which would leave only a couple of grass pitches for tourers. There are quite a few tent pitches set around the lake and in the woods and are well sheltered from any bad weather.
Speaking of bad today we had a bit of rain the first rain in the day since we arrived in fact the day we should have been going home, we love the place so much we booked for another 5 nights on top of our 7 nights to take us past the Bank Holiday.
All the hard standing pitches are mainly level with the odd minor adjustment needed and the grass pitches are much the same. EHU to all the pitches with fresh waters taps dotted around the site.
There are 3 toilets that are excellent cleaned every day I think they are going to add more Toilets to the site also. There is 2 showers with plenty of hot water along with a kitchen area for Tenters, Back Packers etc where there is a Fridge Freezer, Toasters, Kettles, Hair Dryer, Microwave and washing up Facilities.
There are a couple of picnic tables that are under cover as well as a pool/snooker table, I think they have put a lot of thought into the sites layout and needs of the guests. There is an area where you can let your dog off the lead, where they can have run around and do their business that is all fenced so very safe.
The Lake is really nice to walk around with plenty of wildlife to watch, and there is a walk around the site which you are encouraged to use which is also Dog friendly but your dog does need to be on a lead for that which is understandable because of the Ducks.
There is a dog bin provided that is located by the Dog Paddock along with dog bags in case you forgot to bring any. The site is very peaceful and during our stay everyone has been so friendly and helpful,
The site is located 6 minutes from Hornsea which is a really nice seaside town that has not been over commercialised. Whiteheads Fish and Chips in Hornsea will deliver to the site we had Fish and chips for tea last night from there and they are excellent.
It is going to be a real shame that we are having to leave next Tuesday as we have really enjoyed our stay here, but we will be coming back next year.
I really didn't want to write a review about this site because it's that good and wanted to keep it just for us, but if you want a relaxing, peaceful, quiet holiday then this should be top of your list.
We can't wait to come back next year oh if that isn't enough to tempt you Mappleton Beach is also 6 minute drive turning right out of the site, which is also dog friendly and a great place to visit.

Lovely camp site, we stayed on the lakeside which is wonderful & we'd certainly stay there again. If you have a large tent ask for pitch 44 on the lakeside if it's free.
Toilets & showers were clean but gets a bit busy around 8. 30am, we never had to wait too long though.
The owners are very helpful, friendly & they do enforce the no loud music/noise late at night, a couple near us were having a bit of a domestic & the owner tactfully dealt with the situation.

What a great little site. On arrival we were greeted by Sheryl, who showed us to our pitch and told us of the facilities and lay out etc.
Sure, the EHU was a length from the tent, but their extensions were at the ready.
Facilities were spotless, and Sheryl and Roy worked tirelessly all day and evening to keep them that way.
A great site for our Spaniel too, plenty of walks for him. Good pub a short walk away, though only open Friday Sat Sun.
Overall a clean, well ran, and relaxing site. Made the 6 hour drive worth it, and we'll definitely be back.

This was my first time camping on my own. Sheryl the owner was so reassuring re my situation.
I was in a tent without the electric hook up. But the site had every amenity I required. Out door kitchen with kettle, toaster and microwave.
The showers were hot and very spacious. I felt so at easy and safe.
I will definitely be booking again.
I have already told a few of my family and friends who like to camp.
