 Very good camp site in lovely setting. Good toilets and showers.
I liked the fact there were extra touches like the kitchen and pool table that could be used by campers and it was nice to sit at a dressing table to dry my hair with their hair dryer.
The Elsan area was quite smelly and you had to walk past it to get to the toilets and showers, so maybe since it was the end the season the cess pit needed emptying.

Quiet (adults only), away from the main road, easy access to some excellent quiet minor roads for cycling.
Facilities were spotless and the showers were hot, spacious and had a more than decent water pressure.
The owner was welcoming and friendly. I'm told to expect some changes next year as the site is further enhanced. Hope to go back again.
When I visited, the site was probably half full and most campers had their own facilities so I never had to wait for the 2 showers or 3 toilet/wash rooms. For this reason, this year's facilities rating I'm giving less than perfect as it's probably the case that had I stayed for the weekend, access would not have been so easy.

Good price. Lovely host. Great facilities, , all free.
Dog friendly. We were given choice of available berths.
The small lake and surrounding area adds to the view.

Clean and very well kept

A fantastic adult only site, with 2 marvelous owners Roy and Sheryl who are So friendly and helpful.
Toilets and showers are spotlessly clean, with extra regular cleaning throughout the day. A kitchen area with everything you need.
Pub a short stroll to the village where the pub owners are very friendly too. Some lovely walks along a disused railway line.
We can’t wait to return.

The most perfect setting for a tranquil retreat, managed and owned by the attentive Sheryl and Roy,
The added extras that are totally free for anyone to use are perfect, the toasters tea and coffee microwave even a snooker table.
In fact we were that happy we booked again for another three nights.

Myself Jeana and my partner Teo, plus two dogs have just returned today from a perfect 3 day holiday here. Warm personal and genuine welcome plus great customer service.
Very nicely groomed lawns and forest. Only 10 minute drive to Hornsea or 2 min to local beach.
Very quiet and peaceful plus adults only.
