 We loved this site. Perfectly set between coastline and country. Roy and Cheryl the owners know exactly what works and what doesn't. Pitches are generous and very tidy.
Amenities are thoughtful and clean. There's a dedicated off-lead dog run and a perimeter dog walk track for pets. Loads of information on whats on, local walks, pubs, eateries etc.
Roy and Cheryl are there when you need them and keep busy around the site when you don't.
We will be back here. If there's any pitches available.

We are not experienced campers - but we loved it at Wood Lake Campsite. Our pitch by the lake was magical.
The site was quiet and peaceful. There are special facilities for dogs and we hardly noticed them. The showers and loos are modern and serviced regularly.
Sheryl who runs the place is super - nothing is too much trouble. Lovely area where you can microwave meals and make drinks and toast. Fridge/freezer available with plenty of sockets to charge your phone etc.
Lots of lovely places to visit nearby - great cycling and walking country and good local pubs for a nice meal and a drink or two.
We will definitely visit again.

Brilliant site with beautiful surroundings. Had a lovely stay on a spacious pitch. Owners and other campers were so friendly and helpful.
Great facilities open including showers and loos and a kitchen area with equipment which was so useful as our little stove had set on fire! Beach only a couple of miles away and a pub and Tesco not far.
Would love to visit here again 😃

Tranquil well kept site, just what I needed. Nice woodland walk around the site.
Clean toilets and shower.
Easy to find. Very close to Mappleton beach and Hornsea.

Lovely place. Showers and toilets regularly cleaned and we had loads of land to our self when we went so lots of privacy.
Really close to Hornsea and Mappleton and easy to find.
Sheryl, the owner, is very lovely and very helpful.

Stayed here at the weekend just to relax. Small site but the owner Sheryl was very friendly as to were the other campers.
Nice stroll to the local pub which served really good food (although a reduced menu due current COVID precautions).
Plenty of walks/rides in the area.
Recommend the site for a nice getaway.

A truly amazing site. Easy to find, welcoming friendly hosts and well maintained,
Didn’t use the facilities although they were open. Spotlessly clean with extra sanitising equipment.
Great location, fantastic enclosed dog exercise area, nice walks from the site.
Would we go again? You bet.

Well kept site. From the grounds, shower and toilets, spacious pitches and fab area for dogs.
Lady that greeted us was so helpful and made us very welcome.
Great communal kitchen for campers. Kept spotlessly clean
Overall peaceful site and beach a lovely walk away. Pub near by.

One of the best sites we’ve been to.
The site is very well run and so peaceful, even though we only stayed 2 nights we enjoyed every minute.
