We phoned the night before to check if we could still camp due to the weather and were told it was fine and there were no problems. When we arrived a large part of the top tent field was cordoned off due to being waterlogged and the part we could pitch our tent on was also very waterlogged. We were given no information as to where the showers/toilets/water points were upon arrival.
The toilet and shower block were quite a walk away, the shower was probably the best I've ever had at a campsite but there were only 2, plus 1 in the disabled toilet, and the changing area outside the shower was ridiculously small.
We ate in the Lakeside bar on one night and the food was good and reasonably priced, drinks were also very reasonable. The Cross Keys across the road is very friendly and welcoming, a lot of locals use the pub as well as campers and everyone is very friendly, the landlord/landlady are lovely and they appear to stay open until the last person leaves.
The location of this site is good, particularly for watersports, but I would not stay again in a tent.

This is are fourth time here we were on the very top field and was lovely and peaceful a great view of the lake
Toilets/showers are a little tattie but these are really used for schools but were clean(as a family we went over to the family shower room over otherside of lake)
Owners are very nice and welcoming
Dog play excising field is great
Didn't use bar/gym
One problem was the new alligator willow sculpture that's been made, my son badly cut his back due to the screws not being tapered off, we did tell reception and were told it's for looking at, so children be careful

We arrived with our tent on a busy Saturday when there was a wedding in full swing which was then complemented in the evening by a 18th birthday party being held in another function room - so first impressions were not good and our first night was somewhat noisy. That said by Sunday evening we had the whole place pretty much to ourselves so the rest of the stay was great.
We felt that the facilities do not cater for those staying in tents. The toilet and showers are shared with those using the gym complex and needed a really good clean. 2 toilets and 2 showers (extra one for disabled people) would not be enough if the site was really busy. Also the cubicles were very small, especially in the shower area.
The washing up facilities were disgusting throughout our stay. Never cleaned and being coated in more and more bird dropping from the finches roosting above the sinks. The chemical disposal point was also pretty poor and next to an access point to the lake and some of the watersports facilities - not good if you child ran off and went exploring. !
The laundry facilities were also in poor condition, being full of discarded old bedding and dirty laundry.
On the positive side the site is a good central location for the area, and the view is great. Rated it a 6, but if they gave the place a good clean / pressure wash this would rise to a 8/10.

We have just spent a family get together at Croft Farm. There was our Caravan, three Motorhomes, A large tent, The site was fantastic, we all managed to be on the site together.
All the staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous, The cleaners were very nice and kept the showers and toilets very clean, which was amazing given the amount of people on the site and the rain!
The Carvery on Sunday was fantastic and great value and the drinks at the bar very reasonable.
We will be going again soon. It is a fantastic site.

Thanks to the lake for the kids to enjoy the watersports, this is a great venue. It was made better this visit (this was our second time here) by the blue flyer picked up at Reception which advertises boating hire and bouncy castle hire! Because the weather was pretty dire, we hired a bouncy castle from them for a day for £70 (split between 14 families it was a fab deal). Certainly something to think about if you want a day on site. We didn't use the restaurant this time as although the food was nice last time (we had the cooked breakfast), we found the tables and cutlery dirty last time. We did walk up to the bar for a drink one night, to listen to the live band, but the smell of the wet dogs inside put us off. The cleaner left a lot to be desired (very rude to well behaved children and she thought nothing of taking her dog into the toilet cubicle with her!). Saying that, the toilets and showers were clean most of the time. Hot water was aplenty. We would return but we rely on Morrisons (5 mins drive) and having plenty of our own equipment!

Beautiful setting by lake. Ask for lake view site.
Toilets and showers quite a walk. Small shower, would have to come out of the shower to dress or undress. Toilets cleanish but then a lot of people here and children using them.
The setting makes up for the toilets and showers though.
Restaurant and bar on site, reasonable prices.
Lots for children to do.
If you love water sports the lake is great, windsurfing, canoes. Sail boats etc.
Entertainment most nights.
Dog friendly. Our bichon just sat all day watching what was going on.
Plenty of places to visit locally. Good location.
Very friendly reception, couldn't do enough to help.
Would return.

Our first visit to Croft Farm and what a fantastic weekend it was! The staff were very friendly and showed us where we could pitch up. The showers were nice and hot and toilets and shower blocks clean.
Kids loved the park and paddling in the lake was excellent fun! We hired a 5 person canoe £10 for half hour (including life jackets for the kids) and had a great time - kids loved it. Wind surfing, pedalos etc available for hire too. The fenced off dog compound was lovely too, very secure.
We didn't get chance to use the pub/restaurant on site though the menu and prices looked reasonable. Only 1. 5 miles from lovely Tewkesbury if you need shopping supplies from Tesco etc.
Small criticism; when pitching, the grass was very long (lost my coffee cup in it!) and it made putting the ground sheet down a bit tricky! Brilliant site though, nice and quiet at night. Can't wait to return!

Just returned from a fantastic weekend at Croft Farm Waterpark, what a great site if your into watersports, or just want a stopover whilst travelling south as it is only a mile & half off the M5 (J9). We took our own Kayaks and used the lake every day (you can hire kayaks, windsurf's, sail boats & all the equipment at very reasonable rates)
The site facilities are kept clean and tidy - nice toilet / shower blocks (you need to pay a £5 deposit for a key fob to allow access to the toilets - this also works the site entrance barriers)
There is a restaurant on site - we had the Sunday Carvery which was superb for £6. 95 (well recommended - choice of 4 meats and 7 veg- all fresh)
There is also access to the river Avon which is just a field away. Tewkesbury is only 2 miles away and has a Morrisons, Tesco Metro & Co-op for your supply's as there is no shop on site
The Cross Keys pub is situated across the road and is a real old worldy pub with an 'old worldy' landlord, real ales and and excellent pie menu
Ask for a pitch overlooking the lake when you book, we had one and there is always something going on to watch on the lake
All in all a well kept site aimed at those who love everything on the water (if I lived closer I would have a season pitch here). In a word, superb !

Stopped on a blistering hot weekend with a huge group of friends and had a ball, assisted no end by the owners who were really chilled about the manner and location of where our caravans, motor homes and tents were pitched. They ensured that our corale was safe and complied with fire regulations but otherwise were beautifully chilled.
This is a very nice site with two large tent camping areas one up on the top of a bank overlooking the lake and another at water level surrounded by gravel pitches.
Clean, spacious toilet blocks accessed with a fob (£5 deposit per fob).
A short walk down to the river Avon where fishing is free and the peace and quiet is a joy.
We popped into the bar when we discovered they sold Thatchers Gold cider and noted a couple of real ales alongside standard pub taps. We didn't eat in the bar but I was told by some customers that their food had been excellent.
Would definitely return to this site again.

Just spent an overnight stop-over here and it was a very nice site. The staff were friendly and helpful over the phone and when I arrived, and also when I was leaving and needed to get my £5 deposit back from the keyfob.
Entry to the site is through a barrier which you need the key fob for, and you need it for the loo too. I could see that would be a problem if you had children as when they are young then they have to get there quite fast sometimes. Although I might not take the children to that site when they're young because of the lake.
It was quite quiet as the school haven't broken up yet and it was midweek, but what I saw I'd definitely go again if I need a stop-over.
It was a bit windy and I nearly lost the tent when putting it up! Maybe I'd take a wind break next time!
