Stayed here for couple of nights as we were visiting a local show.We had 2 vans as there were 6 of us. Found it a nice site, quite spacious with good well run facilities and friendly people. Plenty to do but we were lucky with the weather. Will go again. Lots of excellent places to eat in area.

 August 2004
We visited this site over the August bank holiday weekend and were quite surprised to get fairly decent sized pitches together (there were 15 of us spread between 4 family and 2 pup tents)even if we were the furthest we could possibly be from the club and play zone.
The watersports on the lake are great for the beginer or the more experienced. They offer classes for adults and children, we will book some lessons when we can arrange to all meet up again.
I don't think we will go back to camp though as there were only two showers in the gents / ladies blocks and a rather daft key system to get into the blocks in the first place. Also apart from the watersports there wasn't anything for the kids (aged 8-16) to do.

 April 2004
Our first camping trip of the year in a nice shiny new tent, and all very nice it was too. Well, we broke down on the way near to the campsite, but that's not their fault!

It's about a mile north of Tewkesbury. We arrived at the site, hunted out reception, and were greeted by a nice friendly man. £10 a night for a large tent, a car and two campers, or the same price for a caravan, car, awning and two people. It's £5 deposit for a key for the toilet block and entry/exit to the campsite.

We were the only tent there (except one, who left as soon as we arrived - we must smell!), and we realised why at night - it was blooming freezing!! Nice site though - a fair size, nice views of Bredon Hill and the Malverns, which are about 15 miles away, and a lake. You can rent all sorts of boats on the lake - we intended to rent a double canoe for an hour for £8, but never got round to it.

It was basically a good all round site - seemed plenty of space (though we went at a quiet time), nice scenery, lots of birds (including a couple of aggressive swans), rabbits running around at dusk, nice clean toilet and shower block. The only complaint I have about the site is that there were tons of midges, which got inside the tent as we have a speperate groundsheet and a bit of a gap at the bottom, but again, that's not the fault of the campsite.

We only stayed for two nights, but had a lovely walk on the malverns, and had a trip to Tewkesbury, which is a lovely little town.

All in all, a good trip, a good location, and a nice site! I'd recommend it :)
