This site was recommended to us by a fellow camper vanner, I have to say the shower/toilet facilities are the best I have seen. The camp site itself was set in a lovely spot right next to the Tissington/Peak trail.
Communication with Lloyd who runs the site was a pleasure, he was very accommodating in that three sets of campers managed to get side by side which added to the weekend.
The shower block is brand new and I gather the old shower block will be re-furbed at some point to provide pot washing facilities to replace the existing set up.
Price wise, excellent value at a current price of £10 pppn, dogs free, showers included in price.
Will absolutely be going back to this site

We visited the site at the end of April and found this to be an excellent choice. The Facilities were excellent and very clean. The facilities were always heated day or night. The Pitches are spacious and well mown. The site is right next to the high peak trail and very close to at least 3 pubs. All I can say is Visit as soon as possible and you will not be disappointed.

This is one of, if not the nicest sites we've ever been on. The toilets and shower facilities were the best I can ever remember on a camp site and are a credit to the staff on what is essentially a busy working farm. It was beautiful and peaceful and we actually had the whole tent field to ourselves as the other campers were on the electric hookup side. We had a pleasant stroll to the Duke of York pub down the High Peak Trail which served beautiful food and allowed dogs in which was a nice change! The only minor downsides for us were the limited access to reception (2 hours in the morning) and therefore the freezer facility (although they did offer to come and collect our freezer packs to put in the freezer for us but there was no point as we were leaving the next day anyway), but if you're on EHU this wouldn't matter. There is also no site shop or children's play area, so wouldn't be suitable for us to take our grandchildren to, but for us as a couple it was perfect and very reasonably priced. We will be returning, probably with our bikes so we can explorer the adjacent High Peak Trail. I have already recommended it to my sister and her husband!

This is a small site that is in a great location in the White Peak.
The toilet block is new and is probably the best I have ever experienced on any camp site. Even having a bath if you need a soak after your day's efforts.
There is easy access from the site on to the Tissington Trail for walking/cycling.
The owners are friendly and each defined pitch has hook-up and water.
The site is not near any pubs or shops, but that keeps it nice and quiet and relaxing. There are pubs on the A515, the nearest being the Duke of York and the Bull'I'Th'Thorn.
We walked to Chelmorton one day and had a nice meal at The Church Inn.
Excellent site, will definitely return.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this campsite. The toilet facilities are new and are kept in immaculate condition, they also have a family bathroom with a bath which is ideal for a soak after a long walk.
The campsite is kept clean and tidy with plenty of space between caravans.
I would recommend this site and will definitely use again. I can not comment on the owners as we didn't see them all weekend which in a way is a good thing as they left you alone.

Another great few days on this lovely site. The site continues to be developed; with now pitch hookup and piped water. The only facilities that need update are outside pot washing. This is a very minor point; as I'm sure, in time, the pot washing area will be updated. We went (1 mile from site) to the Royal Oak (just off the High Peak trail) for a geat Sunday lunch. The site is very well placed for walking and biking.

An absolutely fantastic site, set in the perfect location for us as we wanted to cycle along the High peak trail, which starts at the bottom of the field. Very relaxed and friendly owners who were very helpful with our questions. The shower block is the best I have ever used, perfect after a hard days cycling. The is a cracking pub a five minute walk from the site which does great food and ale, all in all a brilliant weekend spot.

Wow, wow what a beautiful little site that's at the end of two trails (Tissington and High peak)three pubs and a cafe all in walking or biking distance from such a fantastic site! We must congratulate you also for providing that safe cycleway off the main road to the high peak and that lovely shower block, wow! We've booked again, striaght away, on the same pitch and staying for longer. We could not fault this site and it's on top of our list to revisit often! Now the downside is that you know; however we hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

We stopped here for 5 really enjoyable days. As touring sites go (and we have visited many) the newly opened facilities are without doubt the best we have seen. Modern, roomy, clean and very efficient. The touring pitches are very roomy and well protected from the weather. Even when the wind was quite strong the trees surrounding the pitches protected our outfit very well. Ideally located against the Tissington trail, walking and cycling is ideal right from the site. There are 3 pubs in the vicinity and within walking distance ( from 5 mins to half hour).
Overall a great site to choose in the Peak District - hard to beat in our opinion. Obviously the owners are making massive improvements and they are really paying off.
If I could offer one suggestion for improvement to set this site up for the future - it would be for a local Wireless facility. The Peak District is very poor for both telephone and internet reception. A site specific wireless booster would be a real draw for the modern family.
Well done guys !
