We have just returned from this site as a family of 2 adults and 4 children. The site itself was very clean and well set out. The pitch sizes were very good although there was a lack of respect from other site users who thought it was acceptable to go through your pitch even when you were eating. The shower blocks were clean with plenty of facilities, I personally found the showers to be really good, powerful and hot although my husband disagreed and said that although powerful the male showers were only tepid. The on site shop has essentials - although rather expensive I would recommend using the asda in Bridgwater 10 minutes away. The chip shop was a good idea although also expensive £2. 40 for large chips. The boating lake was a good idea and kept the kids busy for a while, so did the parks I did however think that £2 per child for 20 minutes on the trampoline was expensive. The evening entertainment was ok we only went twice while we were there but it was quite dear for drinks and if you wanted ice in your drink it was 20p! We spent extra on getting wifi for the kids and they could barely get on it - the site was full when we arrived due to bank holiday so we hoped it would get better when people left but it didn't. I personally wouldn't go back due to the expense on site. Overall the site has massive potential if they change their view of trying to get every penny they can out of you.

Friendly staff, large pitch if everyone adheres to the pitching rules, clean showers.
Kids enjoyed it more than the adults, popped into the club house. Remember the bar in Star wars? If you do say no more. Strange Alice in Wonderland type entertainment for the kiddies, it would appear that the buxom staff bought her revealing costume from Anne Summers.
Bar staff were fine, fish and chips were not all that, the pool was ok for the kids and very busy.
What lets the site down was the clientele, Saturday after kicking out time was more like a circus between 11. 30- 1 am, with someone falling drunk into the side of our tent.
Live and let live I say but this was a bit much along with some rough families swearing every other word and walking around for the whole weekend in dressing gowns. Probably their usual attire at home.
Not one I will return to.

Spent Easter Bank Holiday here and wasn't disappointed at all. Plenty to keep the children entertained with an indoor pool, parks (swings) on every field, trampolines (pay extra).
Shower and washing up facilities were spotlessly clean and water was hot, although don't know how this would be in very high season as the site was probably only half full.
Shop on site stocked essentials and there was a chip shop open for limited hours which was handy for the first night ( may be cause it was so early in the Season).
We traveled in a group with 4 other families and we had the extra large pitches with electric hookup and were all accommodated together.
There's not a great deal near to the site, one pub although we didn't go in. Bridgwater is a 10 minute drive away.

Great site with great facilities! Indoor pool is a godsend especially when weather is bad. The boating lake and multiple play area are functional and the kids loved them.
On site shop is basic but functional enough for essentials, on site chip shop reasonable value for money and food.
Evening club has good selection of drinks and even off season there was entertainment for the kids.
Would definitely visit again, was a shame we had to leVe a day early, weather was blustery when we visited and our awning tore off the van!

The site is good but only if you go in main weeks but then its gets a bit busy, if you don't then a lot of the site is not open. We went week before easter and easterweek and nothing was really open the first week shop didn't open til 10am games room not open til we asked entertainment was same as it is all through the year so we were told. Too much kids entertainment goes on from 6. 30pm til 9. 30pm in main weeks beer very expensive, again we were told they have the same acts thoughout season adult entertainment was ok no need for silly games could get very boring if you visited couple times a year. Chips shop didn't open long enough and was told last year he turn customers away cause he wanted to close and go home. Shops ok in main weeks it open longer. Showers a bit too hot and came out of shower part so clothes get wet some of them was a bit run down with broken/missing seats some didn't lock a bit of work and they would be fine. Pool was nice first week a bit cold no guard til 2nd week then it was too busy. The trampolines are expensive when you can get to pay as office was closed a lot of the time the first week. The fields are all nicely laid out. If I was running site I would change a few things like have happy hours in club finish kid entertainment 9pm then have adult entertainment different so you don't see same act twice. Open fish bar all evening nothing better than fish n chip after few drinks shop open 8am til 8pm and pool tables for adults as they are a bit battered in games room

Hi all! I will agree with the last comment! WARNING becarefull of the kids on bikes etc and the footballs?? There is no one after 11pm to speak to about the noise of others after the club! I'm 40/60 split if I will come back! Site clean and tidy, reception friendly, good priced, but the lack of respect for others and property is down the pan!

Me the Wife and granddaughter stayed here last week the site was well geared up for the kids it was wall to wall with kids, you took your life in your hands with them flying around on bikes scooters roller skates/blades and boards, the shower blocks and toilets were clean and tidy, the club was very noisy i. E. Very loud music and the compere was always shouting the bar prices were average at £3. 50 a pint swimming pool had two lifeguards on duty at all times, the down side to Mill Farm was the noise late at night after the club had close people shouting and drinking and swearing until the early hours of the following morning not very nice when you have small children.
The site rules also state the noise should be kept to the minimum after 11. 00pm and no cars to be driven around the site after 11. 00pm but that was not the case no security patrol, the site was miles away from any where, I will not be going back there again because of the noise factor late at night

Just come back from a 1 week stay at this campsite and first impressions were good there are various fields and a Shower/toilet block and a park in each.
We were put in a field towards the back of the park where it can be hell to put up a tent the ground is quite stoney so trying to put pegs in can be a nightmare. From what I could see there was 2 water points in each field so not a problem there the toilet blocks when we were there are a different story ok when we got there but (this is in the mens) there are only 3 main toilets and only 1 really worked the others 1 would not flush properly and the other the seat was taken off and never repaired. BUT the one that did work properly was right next to the showers so the water from that would be all over the floor think that needs to be sorted. There was a speaker in the toilet block playing music during the day.
The shop was good hours are 9-6 plenty in there but after those hours bridgewater would be the other place to go has morrissons, asda, lidl, But if it is something small there is a 1 lane road to go to a little village where there is a small shop but this road is a nightmare.
Entertainment was great different act every night tribute acts, comedians, singers plenty to keep you entertained but these start at about 10Pm before that all about keeping the kids entertained that's if you can get a seat it gets very busy.
The chippy was ok and prices you would would expect but not too bad at the same time chips £1. 50 but busy
Kids loved the slide at the swimming pool but I was told that the water pressure is not great there so sometimes you can stop during the slide (my kids did a couple of times)
Other than that it was still a great site would go back again

A very large site split into about 5 fields. The shower block on our field was a bit dated but adequate. The weather was wet so the floor became dangerously slippery which needs addressing. Caravans were mixed with Tents so some of the pitches were a bit small.
The evening entertainment was excellent and the best I've ever seen on a campsite of this size - of Butlins or Haven standard.
Swimming pool was very good with 2 lifeguards in attendance but boating lake was a free for all with no lifeguards so a major risk if you have young children.
The site has their own access road which is a short distance from the main Minehead road.
Campers on-site were an eclectic mix !
