Just spent a great Bank holiday weekend on this site.
Arrived Friday afternoon (barriered gates) and was luckily allocated pitches bang at the side of the playarea. This was fantastic as it meant we could see the kids at all times. The playarea is great for all ages.
There is a little snack van which was great for quick snacks and very affordable.
The clubhouse was also good, fair priced drink and evening entertainment (bingo, karaoke quiz etc)
The toilet facilities were good, kept clean and tidy.
Little on site shop had all basics (plus kiddy stuff which was like a magnet to them!)
We had a great time, however the main touring area is at the bottom of the site so if you have kiddies it would be advisable to ask to be located near the park.
We didn't have a clue what was in the surrounding area so we only ventured into Peterborough town for a few hours and the Tesco down the road.
Lovely site.

We had our very first camping trip here and it was great, site was clean and staff very friendly.
Clubhouse was very good offering great entertainment and cheap prices.
Showers were hot and free, although only 2 ladies and 2 mens, never seemed to be waiting to use them. Only downside was no electric point in toilet block to dry hair, as we didn't have electric hook up, being our first time camping.
Toilets were always clean.
Kids enjoyed the play area, couldn't get them off it half the time.
Tesco was only 2 mins down the road by car, and plenty of larger shopping towns to visit within 10 miles around. Shop on site was open a couple of times a day, and was reasonably priced.
Even though we had rubbish weather we had a really good time here and will be visiting again next year.
Big thumbs up for this site!

We have just come back from a weekend break.
I would recommend this site to anyone that is looking at getting away for a break. When we arrived the warden showed us where our pitch is and told us if there was anything we need just to ask. He also offered us a hand putting the tent up which he didn't have to. The people on site were very welcoming and always said hello
The site has a very clean toilet and shower block and a shop on site if you need anything.

Myself mother a niece away for a 2 night break, no grandchildren this time. Reasonable rates including EHU £14 per night, showers and toilets very clean, we were the only tent I think they cater more for tourers
Great club house, Friday night was a kids singing competition Saturday night they had a WII competition which my niece was interested in
Visited Waterside garden centre near Bourne
Had the famous fish and chips in Market Deeping
Cannot comment about the shop as we did not use it overall nice little site

This site has large pitches and we were close to the clubhouse and play area which our daughter loved, but wasn't disturbed by noise from it.
The warden was welcoming and friendly and lived on site (in a Tardis I think), nothing was to hard for him from a flat battery to loaning a poor lad a tent when his was waterlogged by torrential rain, I believe these actions to be above and beyond his duties but he wanted your stay to be a good one. The residents on site were also welcoming and friendly.
The toilet and shower block was kept exceptional clean and the showers were free with plenty of hot water. Also a washing up room which other reviews said you had to queue but we didn't. They are also in the process of building a laundry room.
There is a small shop with all your basic needs and a friendly Nanny Pam to talk to even if you didn't want anything. The clubhouse is reasonable priced and lays on entertainment for all the family as well as having an outside area that is heated if you wish to sit outside. Also a burger van which is open Thursday to Saturday.
The site loves children as our daughter found more than one tooth fairy when her 2 front loose wobbly teeth fell out and was given extra money (Thank-You) and campsite tooth fairies pay more than home fairies according to the warden (Ha-Ha).They also have a very strict 5mph policy to stop any silly accidents.
Close by you have a Tesco's, Spar and Co-op, then further on you have a choice of takeaways all of these within 3 miles of the site.
Overall an excellent family run and family orientated site which we will be returning to.

Just returned from a 6 night stay at the Deepings. What a lovely little site.We were parked at the front of the site, next to the playground, but noise was never a problem. The clubhouse is small and very friendly, and prices very reasonable. The staff really made the Friday & Sat evening a great family night, Keep the kiddies happy and the parents are too. Well Done! The site itself was very clean & tidy, the small shop sold basic essentials and stuff for the kids.
The staff made us very welcome and were always helpful, toilets & showers very clean and what a treat to have a shower where I could choose the temperature.
We will certainly visit this site again and would recommend it as great value for money.
Tesco and other shops nearby. An ideal site for visiting the attractions in the surrounding area.

Spent 3 nights on this site. Myself and my daughter and our dog along with our friends and their 2 children and a dog. We were pitched in the middle of the static caravans and it was fantastic. We was near the children's play are which was a real bonus.
We met lots of lovely people who stay there most of the year and the couple who run the park are so very helpful and lovely. They came by each day to make sure everything was alright for us.
We all went to the clubhouse on the Friday and Saturday night and they had the BEST entertainment for children and adults. The prices of the drinks was so very reasonable.
There is a burger van pitched there and a weeshop that my daughter loved to visit.
Tesco's is 5 minutes away and Spalding has the best shopping village I have ever been to.
The weather was awful but the site more than made up for it.
The park is very clean and tidy and well managed throughout.
I have camped for over 10 years and this site was the best camping experience I have ever had.
A MASSIVE well done to the entertainment co-ordinator for the fantastic nights we had there. It was worth all the rain to have the entertainment at night. The children and us adults loved every minute of it.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend. Can't wait to go back!

I would thoroughly recommend this site, it was great value for money, nice and clean, the showers had proper glass screens so no wet clothes which makes a nice change. Kids loved the park which they did close at 10pm so everywhere quietened down. We ventured into the club house on 1 evening for a kids talent/singing competition which was fun. The fishing pool was quite small, but we are not fishing people so do not know how this compares to others. Shop on site only open for a couple of hours twice a day, but there is a large tesco a mile down the road for all your needs. You do get some road noise from the A16 but it is minimal.

At the very end of July we spent a night here in our campervan whilst on our way to visit family.
The site is predominantly established hedgerows surrounding long term static units, so we were camped in the back field which is for tents and tourers; they are obviously expanding this at the moment and in relation to the rest of the site, which is very sheltered, it was comparatively open and susceptible to the strong winds that blow across the adjoining fields; the hedges are planted here, but are not yet established. The plot was hard-standing with a grass plot aside for your awning and had an EHU point and light directly behind. It was very neatly organised and but for the lack of additional shelter from the wind, which could cause some issues with your awning during poor weather, was a very nice plot.
The site has very good, clean toilets and showers for both Gents and Ladies (though a word to those with children – do not let your three-year-old lock himself in the loo; there’s no way over or under the door if they can’t undo the bolt themselves!).
The children’s play area, which is near the clubhouse / bar / evening entertainment, is a good size and has plenty of rubber chip base, it kept our boys busy for hours and you can enjoy your drink on the veranda and still keep an eye on the little ones without any concern; there’s also a burger van to satisfy your evening cravings or the temptations of the little ones who refused to eat the pasta that you cooked earlier!
The on-site shop has some basic needs if you’ve suddenly realised that you forgot your emergency bar of chocolate, newspaper or wheel chocks, but is not open all day so just get what you need when you see it open!
The reviews below were certainly a good guide for us in our choosing of a site and the only thing that I would take issue with that anyone has said, is the distance to the toilets and showers. This was no further than at other sites I’ve stayed at; so unless you have very young children or a particular need to visit them very urgently or very regularly, is not too much of an issue in my opinion.
All in all, a nice site for a night’s stay; and although catering for the static market they seem to be expanding into the tourer / tent market and the facilities are better and cleaner than those you’ll find at most.

What a great site! The staff were very friendly as were the other people staying on the site.
The majority of the site is taken up with statics that people live in. There was also an area for caravans to pitch. We were in a tent and the only one for majority of weekend.
We were shown to a strip of glass that was right by reception, main entrance, play park and clubhouse. So was very noisy for the majority of time. Not sure whether tents are allowed to pitch on the caravan field if there are spaces.
The shop was open a couple of hours a day, and the clubhouse opened from 7pm. Drinks were very reasonable! My son and his cousin (both 9yrs old) loved the play park and the fishing lake. Both being taught by grandad how to fish over the weekend.
The showers and toilets were clean and you could adjust the temperature of the showers. Only 1 washing up sink though!
I would stay here again but would ask if we could pitch the tent in the field away from the clubhouse and park with the caravans.
