This is an amazing site with lovely views. The site manager was very accommodating and allowed us to have a late departure as we were participating in the Inverness Baxters Running Event. The cost is great compared to other Scottish sites and I like the relaxed nature of the site - allowing you to choose your own pitch.
Dog friendly, kid friendly. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

Good peaceful position out-of-town and next to the Beauly Firth. Must be very good in the summer weather!
Not much room in the lavatories! Facilities are clean and tidy. Good open views, Good skyscapes too.

Nice site with beautiful views of Loch. Very welcoming staff. Reasonably priced and a Bus ride from Inverness. Bus stops right outside campsite. Toilets/showers a bit dated but clean. Laundry facilities would seem a bit Heath Robinson to a qualified electrician but functional although expensive. Inverness us a lovely town and worth a visit but has no dog friendly pubs to eat in. We ended up walking 2 miles back from town towards campsite to Inchnaharry Inn where the food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Unfortunately you cannot walk to/from it from the campsite due to there being no pathways on a very busy road but the pub is worth a visit.

Stayed here for our planned (and doomed) NC500 trip, as our first night.
Very well organised and laid out site, in a veyr nice location, very handy for Inverness. The small shop on site sold most of the things you'd need.
Midge free camping, and reasonably priced (though slightly pricier than some sites).
The shower facilities were perfectly adequate, and in all, when we try our next shot at the NC500, we'd be happy to return here.

Tried this site 'on spec'. Great views across the Beauly Firth. No really specific pitches, but didn't find this a problem. Despite a number of children & motorcycles, noise was never a problem on the 4 nights we were there.
Facilities are a bit dated, However everything you want is there, clean and working. I admit chemical disposal point is dated, but also clean and adequate. There is an on site snack bar that does the usual fair for the campers. Also has a sign giving recommended times to go the Chanory Point to see the Dolphins.
There isn't a child's play area, (that I saw), but there's plenty for them to do.
Would recommend this site to anyone so long as you don't want everything looking like new and smelling of paint.
Enjoy.

Site is easy to find and access, views across the firth are stunning. However, the site facilities are rather tired, the chemical disposal point an acquired taste to use! Toilet and shower blocks are kept clean but are old and unheated, functional would be an apt description. Water and waste points are dotted around the site and are functional.
There are few hard standing pitches and theses are on a first come first served basis, tents can and do pitch wherever they like sometimes in 'silly' places.
Overall site is ok for a short stay or as stopover as the location is convenient and public transport runs from the site entrance. Could be a fantastic site if the facilities were updated.

Stayed one night in April 2016 as part of a tour, they were very helpful and good facilities plus a small shop on site but no local pub. Watch out for there site sign as the post code takes you further up the road.

This site is off the main road A862 heading west out of Inverness. It's in a nice spot by the sea. We stayed here for one night. The toilet/shower block is ok. It has a lady on site operating a tea van selling burgers. Drinks etc. The cost was reasonable. Very quiet site. There is no pubs nearby at all though. So not good if you fancy a walk to a pub at the end of your day.

Had an overnight stop here during our tour of Scotland. The owner was pleasant and informative and allowed us to pitch where we wanted. The showers were good, plenty of hot water. The on site take-away van was a nice idea, however the haddock chips and peas were very poor. Fish that looked like you'd get frozen in a box from a supermarket. All in all though a good stay and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely situation by shore of Loch but rather disapointing. Pitches close together so had people passing by all the time. Showers etc. Dated. One benefit was the food stall which opened in the morning for breakfasts and bacon butties. Close by Inverness which is a very pleasant and busy city. Visit Leakies bookshop in a converted chapel on Chapel Street.
