Great site, we would defo stay again, even though it was bank holiday weekend and busy the site is so spacious it didn't seem busy. The owners are so helpful. The site is great value no charge for dogs fires etc. An amazing view looking out to sea, the hook up areas are perfect and flat we had no issues. The showers were great considering the volume of people using them. All in all a great site, we will be back see you soon Ian. Cheers

We loved the location on the coastal path, the views were spectacular. In the barn there were huge fridges, microwave, toaster and boiling water constantly available. The showers were always hot but not always clean, however, there was an enormous amount of people on site and I think there were a few plumbing problems! We didn't like the wind, a windbreak is a must and bring plenty of warm clothes. Also it was very busy and the usual quota of bank holiday boozy campers were out. The walk to Porthgain was fabulous and the blue lagoon at Abereiddy was a highlight. We would return just to watch the sun set, but on a quieter weekend!

Just back from a four night stay at this lovely site.
Pros - great views, unspoilt views of the sea and nearby farmlands. Just gorgeous. Free, plentiful showers. Super friendly and helpful staff (thanks Rob and Ian!). Dog friendly and relaxed, happy to accommodate various requests and full of useful information and advice. Great access to the coastal path which was brilliant for a mornings walk to / from the Blue Lagoon (it's cold - you want a wetsuit if you're going in!).
Cons - the wind! As with any coastal site, it can be windy so take your windbreak! Also, the showers could do with mops in them so that people can clean up after themselves. It was mostly dry when we were there but floors still got rather mucky, this could be easily resolved with some mops / buckets.
Also, if you're in the top part of the site, where the electrical hook up pitches are, you might hear noise from groups in the bunkhouse. On the whole the groups using it don't really get in the way of or interfere with the campers but when we were there the group had some quite noisy activities till around 10pm and seemed to have a wake up call of loud music at around 7. 30am which you'd have definitely heard in the EHU area! It's a really small niggle on what is essentially a brilliant site.
We'll definitely be back!
Oh, and the other thing that would improve it? A pub within walking distance of course!

My Fiancé and I stayed two nights at Celtic Camping and Bunkhouse and we would definitely recommend this camp site to anyone. It's set in the peaceful countryside and waking up in the morning with a gorgeous view of the deep blue sea was amazing.
The facilities are great- plenty of showers and toilets-always appreciated by us girls! The barn which contains toasters, a microwave and hot water drinking facilities was great. There are lots of tables and chairs to use if the weather isn't great.
The camp site is located 4 miles from St. Davids which is convenient. There are lots of places to visit such as Porthgain, stunning beaches such as Abereiddi with its Blue Lagoon and Whitesands beach.
Well worth a visit!

We spent 5 nights at campsite Sunday to Friday and had a fabulous holiday before kids back at school. Great location, easy walk to blue lagoon and coastal walks. Facilities were very good, clean facilities, hot showers, washing up, plenty toilets and showers. Lovely camp fires logs available on site. Pick your own spot on site, we had lovely view of coastline. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Central spot for easy drive to town. We will love to go back and would certainly recommend. Thank you. We had come all the way from Cumbria and had a warm welsh welcome.

Just back from a 3 night stay and can't rate this site highly enough. Stunning setting on the hills over looking the sea; couldn't ask for a better spot. Really liked how we could just rock up and stay for as long as we liked without fuss. The owners and staff were really friendly and helpful offering advice on walks and activities in the area. Loved the open plan nature of the site and the amount of space there was. Facilities were great and the fact you could have a fire really made it for us. Will definitely be going back and can't wait to get a chance to do so Thank you

Great views of the Blue Lagoon, lots of space, great facilities. Great for dogs and campfires. Slightly exposed to coastal winds up on the hill so bring a windbreak if you are planning a fire! Firewood and kindling sold on site was very convenient and good quality. The staff looked after us well even whilst the campsite was busy. The owner even kindly came out in the rain to jump start my car when my battery had run flat! Would definitely go again.

Lovely site with great facilities, friendly staff and views over the sea. Easy access to the coastal path was great for walking. Thing I liked most was the laid back attitude of the owner. Our dog was welcome and being allowed a small campfire really added to the experience. If anything could be improved a children play area may be a good idea and perhaps more hookup points.
We had a great time here and we will return next time we go to Pembroke.

Recommended by a friend and chosen for location and I was not disappointed. A warm laidback welcome from owner (and his dog was very friendly and walked up to the corner as if to show me the road to the campsite). I had a huge area to choose where to pitch my tent and chose half way down the slope which wasn't ideal but the view was so stunning I wasn't bothered. Luckily there was no wind as it was rather exposed but I could have tucked into a flat corner further down.
There were ample clean loos and showers, nice temperature. Usual problem of nowhere to leave stuff inside shower but there was a long bench and lots of pegs just outside. Two outdoor washing up areas and a couple inside.
I was also offered the use of the large communal bunkhouse fridge in the barn. The barn would have been useful if the weather had changed to shelter in too but I had the heatwave week. The little beach close by was a nice start to walking along the coast path, which is very close and there's a stunning walk to Porthgain or Abereiddy with some hidden beaches to explore. Also further along is Strumble Head lighthouse.
St. David's Head is great to walk around too the other way and St. David's itself is wonderful and has a late night supermarket.
Haverford West is not too far for lots of the usual shops and supermarkets.
I was given a newspaper by the owner when I arrived full of useful information and a map and I visited most of the viewpoints, took advantage of the shuttle bus, walked a lot of the coastal path and discovered a lot of the beaches. Solva is nearby and is a very pretty harbour town with a great restaurant 35 and I would recommend the slightly longer journey to Marloes Sands, in my view the best beach around and most are dog friendly. Newgale beach is closer and dogs are allowed in parts of it and the Sands cafe is worth a visit. Whitesands no dogs allowed.
I looked in on another site I nearly went to and it had a wonderful location, seemed well run but consequently was full and felt very crowded and I concluded the ten mile drive from St. David's to this site was more than justified.
The site may get full in the holidays but with the view of the sea right in front of you it would never feel claustrophobic and the site is large. A big L shaped field and a smaller long flat ehu area at the top. Various farm buildings, bunkhouse, etc. And a herd of horses belonging to the farm in the nearby fields gives this site a great ambience.
Next door you can watch the Pembrokeshire sheepdogs on Tuesdays and the perennial nursery next to that has a very nice tearoom.
The site does cater for large groups. It had a group staying there the first night (and apparently a hen party which I was oblivious to, just saw the remnants the next day) so I was rather apprehensive but the noise wasn't obtrusive and stopped at a reasonable time.
I can't wait to camp here again.

I cannot recommend this brilliant campsite enough.
The view is absolutely stunning and reason enough to go here alone yet the site's facilities and superb owner and staff have made this the nicest campsite I've ever used.
The opportunity to build a campfire was another plus and the sheer size of the site meant that it almost felt like you were there on your own.
During our stay we had a problem with our tent and the owner and manager could not be more helpful, for this and the other reasons above, I wouldn't hesitate to give this campsite 10 out of 10.
