We liked our stay at Ivy House Farm very much; we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Boston, the markets and the flat landscape; we did everything we had planned to visit. Our girls are animal lovers and particularly the goats they regularly fed and took great care of Bluebell. We liked the simplicity of the place.

Lovely welcome from Jan and Roger, good value for money site had everything necessary with extra touches like mags, books and a piano! as well as microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster provided but felt worried that children had access to these without supervision. Toilets and showers basic but clean. Wildlife on site was interesting, Roger's passion for his animals was inspirational. The site has a bit of a railway theme with owner's railway memorabilia much in evidence. Roger provided a sheet about site and surrounding area which was helpful and he was usually on hand if further info required. We had a lovely relaxing week, no daft rules and regs - just left to enjoy the site and area. We will return to see how the site is developing over time. We did the tourist stuff with visits to Boston, Sleaford and Skegness easily accessible.

Just come back from having a week on site. What a nice site, new toilet block with showers was good and clean. In all the site was so nice we are going back for the peace and quiet. The pub at the bottom of the lane is very good. Two shops in boston aldi, asda, netto. New bbq on site. We stop in a caravan, we had a lot of room to sit out side and do what we like to do

This site was used by our family as part of a club rally, it is an extremely good site with fantastic amenities including a good selection of rescued wildlife ie owls / etc.
The site owners could not do enough for us they even gave us a tour with the children showing how the animals are fed etc.
This site is ideal for rallies or single campers with a lot of local places of interest i:e Boston and Skegness making it ideal for families.

Had a brilliant weekend even though the owner showed the children how to ring the firebell. The children were helping Roger to feed the animals and the children enjoyed walking Bumbledoor.
The best bit for the adults was when Roger put the children behind bars lol .He got them to feed the birds and they had to stand very still in the avery.
The children said that the site is the 'best place they have ever been'.

After the last stay at Ivy house farm we were really looking forward to going back for the bank holiday weekend.
We arrived to be shown to our reserved pitches but told to squash up as others were booked in next to us, this did not please us at all as we would have been VERY close to our neighbours !
The site was jam packed and tents seemed to be popping up everywhere, so much so that one small tent was actually run over by a car and caravan as it was pitched on the entrance route !
There were far too many people on the site - There is only 1 toilet that is useable and 1 shower so there was always a huge queue and almost every time we used the toilet it was out of loo roll.
There are 2 porta loos on site but they are pretty unusable.
The site needs to be altered to accomodate so many people in the future, we did not enjoy our stay half as much as when we came in the summer when it was not so packed.

I arrived with my family on Friday evening, and was met at the Gate by Jan Bunting (owner), who directed us to our pitch. My son (2), my neice (12) and my nephew (11) all immediately ran off to explore. They came back much later with fantastic tales of Goats and Owls and Chickens and Peacocks and Geese and Ducks and Chicks and Squirrels and Snakes and Cats and Kittens and Dogs and Tortoises and Rabbits and Guinea Pigs and Fish and Budgies. The pitch was flat and even and right next to a water tap (very handy) Roger and Jan (the owners) couldn't have been more helpful or informative and as members of the Salvation Army, we were very pleased to find the Salvation Army Flag outside the Main Gate. The facilities are very basic and could do with enlarging and improving, the portaloos in the field were dirty. This said, a fantastic weekend had by all, the facilities being a very small blot on a very large landscape.

WOW . My family and I have just returned from a weekend at Ivy House Farm and had a most enjoyable weekend. We went with friends of ours who had stayed there before and highly recommended it. The pitches were large and flat (which makes a nice change), the prices were great a family of 4 with a folding camper, awning and electric for £8 per night which is a bargain and we have paid much more for much less in the past ! There is an indoor toilet and shower which can be accessed 24 hours a day, only downfall is that it would really benefit from having washing-up facilities. The owners Roger and Jan were very friendly and helpful and really go the extra mile to please, they both spent a lot of time with us all showing us around the beautiful and some exotic animals. Roger was telling the children all about how to look after them and all about their backgrounds as most had been rescued. This was really nice to see and the children all took a very keen interest (as did us adults). It is nice to see so many of the animals roaming free and how tame they are too. The campsite is very secluded as it is away from the road and the nearest neighbours are quite a distance away which is always a bonus ! The pitches are very clean and Jan and Roger walk round daily making sure that things are kept this way, they also checked that the fire buckets and fire bells are all in working order which is always comforting. We have already booked and reserved our pitches for August bank holiday so we will definitely staying there again. If you want a quiet retreat this is the place for you ! Roger and Jan keep up the good work. Thank you from the Wickham family (Emma, Graham, KK, Joe)

My husband and I have just returned from a three day break at Ivy House Farm. The site lived up to all expectations! Roger and his wife are two of the most helpful site owners we have met. The site was not muddy despite all the rain. The facilities are very clean but could be stretched if busy. The animals are great, and children would love them. Our 19year old stayed at home but was quite jelous when we showed her the pictures! Boston was a lovely town and the 'Stump' had a lovely friendly atmosphere. I would recommend this site to both adults and children.lovely open skies and the best rainbow ever seen!

A lovely campsite, set in peaceful settings, yet only a short journey from many places including Skegness. The pitches are nice and level and very reasonably priced too. There is an indoor toilet and separate shower room which is open 24 hours, and even a tv in the barn for anyone wanting to watch it. Roger and Jan are also very helpful and nothing seems too much trouble for them. We will definitely be going back.
