If you are looking for a quiet and friendly site then I would recommend this one. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
Even though the weather was really bad on the Saturday and Sunday we had a lovely time. We had a very relaxing weekend. My children loved the animals and loved feeding them.
The site is a small family run site and some of the animals run freely around the site and that was lovely to see.We will definitely be going back to the site again.
Thanks Roger and Jan for a lovely and unusual site.

I would recommend this camp site to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the country life, our daughter came with us and thoroughly enjoyed her self been free to feed the animals, also taking one of the goats a walk. The proprietors Roger and Jan Bunting, we found very accommodating and could not do enough for you and made you feel very welcome, so much so we are hoping to go again this weekend weather permitting. Thanks again for a brill weekend.

12-13 July 2003 I just wanted to write to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at Ivy House Farm in Boston. This is one of your a Camping & Caravanning Club Certificated Site, and has a lovely higgledy-piggledy feel about the place - our two girls (9 & 6) absolutely loved all the animals that were there - rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, peacocks, ducklings, kittens, tortoises (they even saw a tortoise hatching from an egg!). The owners Roger and Jan Bunting could not have been more helpful - their enthusiasm for what they were doing really shone through. The campsite was basic but peaceful (apart from all the animal noises) - had a touch of the Darling Buds of May about it!
We did have perfect weather - the warmest weekend of the year so far in fact - which probably made a difference. We were told it could get very windy during autumn & winter, although they have planted a lot of conifers around the place to make it more sheltered.
As already said, the facilities are basic at present (free use of single toilet and WHB open 24 hours during camping season, drinking water & chemical disposal point), but the Buntings are hoping to improve the site further over the next few years.
Perfect for a peaceful unwinding weekend - we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind basic facilities, loves peace and quiet (apart from peacocks etc!) and enjoys seeing loads of animals around the place.
Maggie, Dave, Rebecca & Naomi Strutt
