As always a wonderful and pleasant stay, even the thunderstorm didn’t dampen our stay.
Can’t wait for our next trip there.
Gloria and all the staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble

Excellent campsite for relaxation and great walks. Fridge and freezer in washhouse can be used for basics. Must be taken by 6pm though or you wait till 9 am.
Theyre quite strict on not driving on sight or making noise after 11pm. A little srange as no one has to be up early for school or work, do they ?
Lengthy walk to Hassocks rail station. Not on any bus route other than the school run bus.
No on site shop or takeaway.

This site is beautifully kept. The grass is short and the pitches are large. The staff are very polite and kind.
However the showers and toilets are in need of serious updating. They are cleaned every hour but unfortunately the two beer cans my husband encountered at 6 am where still there at 6 pm and the same hair in the shower kept him company the entire 5 days !
We had an awning and 2 dogs which are charged extra totalling to around £45 a night. Considering the facilities, very expensive. We have stayed on sites at £15 a night with facilities cleaner and superior. Maybe that’s why it was far from busy on our stay.
This site would be perfect for us as we have a lot of family in the area but unfortunately we will not be returning. Such a shame.

We had an amazing time here, the location was great and we had plenty of space, the staff were fantastic, happy and smiling every time we saw them.
The showers and toilets were very clean and accommodating. The views here are just beautiful.
I would definitely recommend this splendid campsite. It’s awesome to be able to have a fire pit too, that little touch added to the already magical experience.
Thanks for a lovely time!

Excellent campsite in a beautiful part of the countryside.
The site is well maintained and puts some C&MC sites to shame.
The staff were always pleasant.
As a full time wheelchair user, I was particularly impressed with the disabled toilets and shower.
There were hooks galore, and plenty of equipment for using the facilities which were always clean and warm.

Beautiful views of the South downs and Jack and Jill windmills,
Great facilities cleaned hourly, very helpful staff.
Very secure site with good processes for everything including how to get a firepit, when everything is open etc.

A really lovely 3 night stay at Southdown Farm. Great pitch, lots of families enjoying themselves but nice and quiet at night.
Toilets and showers clean, shop nice, great location.
Would have been perfect to have a coffee stand in the mornings but that’s just me being really picky. Great campsite. We will be back!

Absolutely brilliant campsite.
The weather wasn’t on our side, but so close to village and amenities 👍
Our new Greyhound loved the walks around
The surrounding hills.
Will definitely go back.
