Positives:
Very friendly owners greet you on arrival and show you to your pitch.
The site is small, quiet, very clean and well maintained.
Pitches are level and well maintained, the owner keeps the grass nice and short.
Free to use hot showers, wash facilities and a fridge/freezer.
Childrens play area kept our youngest occupied.
Separate dog walk.
Nice views of surrounding countryside.
Great location for exploring the island and it's fabulous beaches, we enjoy Aberffraw, about ten minutes drive from site.
Llangefni is also around ten minutes drive, this has a supermarket and shops where you can stock up on supplies.
Not so positive:
Although the site is small there are only three toilets. The site is geared for caravans and I think the assumption is made that those in caravans will use their own facilities, which they evidently don't. This results in a queue for toilets and showers when busy, usually in a morning.
You will need your own loo roll and soap which we hadn't been forewarned about.
The chemical disposal point is very close to wash facilities (sinks). Considerate people would wait for people to finish washing pots before using the chemical disposal point, for obvious reasons, but this might not always happen.
I'm not sure if the tents are pitched in the children's play area or if the play area just happens to be built in the middle of the tent field? If you're looking for a quiet stay then this is far from ideal. We didn't mind because our youngest used the play equipment but we did have a number of young children playing within a stones throw of our pitch and it did get noisy. We were lucky because parents were considerate and had children in for around 9:30pm at the latest.
Wasps were a real nuisance but this isn't any fault of the owner, probably just the time of year when we visited. We think our dog was stung while we were there.
Summary:
Overall, a great camp. We really enjoyed our stay and will return, although we'll probably pay a little extra next time for a pitch with electric hook up. These tend to be away from the play area.

Wonderful site. Child friendly. Facilities excellent.
Just returned from a weekend here. Had two tents with one adult and one child in each. Plenty of room to pitch the tents. Toilets and showers although only small, lovely and clean and not busy, due to site being mainly for caravans and motorhomes.
Owners very friendly.
Site is a bit remote but you are never too far away from anything in Anglesey. There is a local shop a 5 minute drive away and a supermarket 10 minute drive away.
Nice little play area for the kids.
Would recommend this site if you want a quiet and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be returning.

Had two weeks here, well one week for the wife, 2 kids and myself then the second week for the parents.
Lovely site, spotlessly clean and peaceful, really easy to get too, although on the way home I got caught by a car coming the opposite way down the one track road and he refused to reverse, making me reverse with my caravan ahh well.
Liked it that much we are thinking of storing our van there next summer as they do a store and camp storage.
There was a great bay about 5 mins drive away and the kids loved bodyboarding there.
Will def return again.

A lovely site. Mainly level. Rained almost every night of holiday, yet the drainage meant that there were no puddles or 'swampy' areas of the field.
Facilities are very good. One block had separate WC's for males and females as well as 2 shower cubicles. A separate 'shed' had a toilet, basin and shower (great for us to use as a whole family). 2 washing up areas. One was very low and back-breaking (get the kids to use this one!). Hot (very) water was always available instantly. Washing machine, fridge and freezer available. Mr and Mrs Foulkes work very hard at keeping the facilities clean and available - a shame that some folks don't have the courtesy to clean up after themselves.
Play area was clean and served as a focal point for all the youngsters to be able to make friends quickly.
Fresh eggs available on site.
Site was busy but not too crowded; I can only imagine that it would be even better out of school holidays.
Only downside to our stay was the arrival of the Refuse Collectors wagon at 6.30am. Noisy beggars!
Nearest shop was in Bethel - corner shop style, everything provided from newspapers to booze.
Llangefni about 15 mins away by car. Everywhere else on Anglesey is within 40 mins. Anglesey is Anglesey - great beaches, walks, wildlife and it's own weather system.
Overall a great base for our holiday

Just wanted to come on and say that we stayed here for 12 nights and absolutely loved this site. We were 2 adults and 3 children (6,4 and 2) The owners were lovely, very helpful. The site was small enough to not feel too busy but large enough that the kids had friends to play with. Large sand pit and swings. I will say that the showers and toilets can become a small problem as there are only 3 but saying that we timed our showers to just after dinner and that seemed to work, but they were spotlessly clean. Anglesey has so much to do and see.

New to camping we thought we would try this campsite out after reading good reviews. On arriving we were met by the owner who showed us were to pitch our tent we could set up were we wanted.
he site was very clean and had a toilet block with 2 showers and 2 toilets plus a shed with a shower in. 2 sinks to wash dishes and a play area which the children were quite happy with. Shops were about 3 miles away. The only down side was there were a lot off wasps which the owner was trying to control. Would return to this site, had a good 4 days there.

What a wonderful site. We picked this site from the reviews. Other people seemed to be really happy and said how peaceful this site was so we decided to give it a try and it was well worth the visit. We actually stayed for almost 2 weeks and all enjoyed it.
The pitch sizes were plenty big even for our large tent and the ground was nice and soft and so easy to put the tent pegs in without them all getting bent.
The toilet block was clean with 1 toilet each for male and female and 2 showers. There was also a separate hut on the other side of the field with a toilet and shower.
The site got rather busy (which didn't take away from the peaceful-ness) and then the toilets and showers got busy and you sometimes had to queue but we took that as a sign of the popularity of the site.
Bring your own toilet paper but showers were hot and free. We found it helpful to bring a little folding stool into the shower cubicle to put our stuff on although there are quite a few hooks but the stool helped as the floor did get rather wet when the shower was used.
The playground was another bonus which meant that the children were happy with somewhere to let off steam even if we didn't bring our own toys with. There is a hut with fridge / freezer / washing machine and dryer which was very welcome. The owners are lovely people and only too happy to help and to make sure we had a pleasant stay.
Llangefni is only a short drive away and there we found a supermarket, shops, market, etc. There's also supermarkets in Holyhead, about 20 minutes away. It was an ideal base to explore the whole of Anglesey and even North Wales.
All-in-all a wonderful time was had by all the family and it's well worth a visit.

The site is easily accessible from the main A55 and so is well placed to get to anywhere on the island (and back to the mainland). It is located down a very quiet country lane and is basically the grounds of the farmhouse. We visited over the Bank Holiday when the site was full. As the morning of Bank Holiday Monday progressed the site virtually emptied and therefore if you visit outside of the main holiday period the site and vicinity may be very quiet.
It is a nice site; the owner was friendly and welcoming, the site is quite compact and flat with well tended grass, fridge and freezer, washing machine and good views of the countryside. There is also a play area which was popular with the children and within view of most of the pitches on site. Even over the Bank Holiday there was no rowdiness or excessive noise and certainly no road noise at night. It has the benefit of being inland and therefore not as exposed as some sites on the island but you can get to the coast very easily (Anglesey obviously isn’t big) and over our stay we went to South Stack, Beaumaris and Red Wharfe Bay, all of which were within easy reach.
There were two factors which I felt let the site down. Neither of these would stop me staying again, either on a Bank Holiday or other times, but the first of these I think stops the site being as good as it could be.
The major issue is that over the Bank Holiday period I felt that the site facilities were not numerous enough or well planned enough to cope with demand. The newish toilet block had one cubicle for both men and women. This contained the toilet and the sink meaning that if the toilet was being used the sink was also not available. There were two showers in this block which were fine but didn’t have mirrors; these were in the cubicles - which were likely to be being used. In addition there was a separate shed/summerhouse type construction which contained a toilet, sink and shower in its room; fine, but one being used meant all three were unavailable. There was also no toilet paper, soap dispensers or towels/driers in any facilities. I’ve seen in a previous review that the owner said these get wasted. Personally I think 50p a night on to the pitch fee and providing good facilities would be preferable to most visitors. I can imagine the volume of toilets/sinks/shower being much less of an issue when not on a Bank Holiday but I think the layout and lack of basic facilities is still the site’s main drawback.
My second issue, which was more specific to the pitch I was allocated, was that despite being charged for EHU we found that the power was on a divider between us and the next pitch which meant we had effectively half power and that some things such as our heater, which we don’t normally have a problem with, immediately tripped the power (even with nothing else plugged in). Again on a quieter period, with no tent next to us and thus no divider, this would not be a problem and I noticed that the row of caravan pitches all had an EHU socket each.
The site was fairly priced and with a little bit of revision to the facilities it would move it in to another league. I would certainly consider returning if I was spending another weekend in the area.

We have stayed quite a few times now and it doesn't disappoint - other than when we can't get in!
The local farm park has shut down sadly but foel farm a sort drive away is well worth a visit.
Llangefni sells nice chips and the farm sells nice eggs!
I would say that this site would suit both adults and families and Anglesey when the weather is nice is to die for!

We drove for 5 and a half hours to get to Anglesey and found the site easily without a gps just a map.
Mr foulkes the owner met us and showed us to our pitch.
Site was perfectly flat and electric hook up was within easy reach of our tent.
Facilities were very good, the little wooden shower room was excellent for getting the kids showered and dried, toilet and shower block was very clean, and the play area was just right to let the kids play on while we washed the dishes(in very hot water)which was a blessing.
Also clothes washer and freezer room was a godsend.
Local amenities were quite close by you just had to look for them and supermarkets tesco, morrisons(best cooked breakfast in morrisons) all within ten miles easy to reach.
We also found a beautiful little beach ten minutes away with free parking just past the race circuit, sea was absolutely crystal clear.
Too much to do in north wales in a week have to go back next year.
