What a fantastic site. We have just returned from 3 nights at Y Fronydd and found everything to be absolutely spot on. The new toilet block/showers were spotless, plenty of hot water and facilities to store food. Great kids play area which received a 'thumbs up' from our lads. David is very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be heading back soon.

Lovely, attractive, clean campsite in a great location. Staff were very friendly and we were made really welcome, even received a map of the area so we could plan our day trips. Sheep were kept in a field nearby and it was nice to see them, and fresh eggs were available. Facilities were very good and cleaned daily. Only possible downside to this campsite was the limited number of toilets and showers. For the whole site there was 1 ladies toilet, 1 gents toilet, 2 showers and a separate wooden cabin with a shower and toilet in. There was only 1 sink for the washing up. They were however modern and clean and if you don't mind waiting, then it's no real problem. Quite a few planes flew overhead but it was quite nice to watch them, we don't normally see RAF jets flying around at home. All in all would definitely come back. Thanks Y Fronydd for a great stay.

Only just got around to posting a review of this super site. Stayed at Easter on a pitch next to owners house. Peaceful with beautiful views and very clean facilities. Owners are very nice and helpful. Entrance road is narrow, we have tiny trailer and were slightly concerned about meeting someone head on. But it's so quiet it was no real problem. Site in good central location for visiting whole island. Overall fantastic!

Site very clean, quite cheap, very quiet. Nearby chippy, not recommended, lovely beach nearby but had to pay £3.00 to go in car. A little too quiet for us. Only stayed 3 nights and that was enough. No large supermarkets nearby. Single track to site was difficult for a caravan, no passing places en route.

We stayed on this site for a full week, the site is excellent, facilities good and clean. We have two young children who had a great time playing in the playground area, it was easy to watch them at all times from our pitch.
We enjoy cycling and found some good cycle routes in the surrounding areas. Farm park close by for the children.
It was a family friendly site and hope to return again this summer.

Just returned from 6 nights at y fronydd. The peace and quiet was amazing. The site is very well looked after with a great shower/toilet block which is kept spotless, the pitches are large enough for car van and awning and still more room. David the owner is very helpful and available if you need any help. There is a children's sandpit / playground and a play area separate from the camping field. The access from the A55/5 is good although the lane to the site is quite tight but we will return just for the peace and quiet.

A very nice small site that is located not too far but far enough away from main road. Nice facilities that were very clean. The site owner was very helpful who came out to greet us in pouring rain and would not go indoors until he had helped me reverse my caravan. Small play area and sandpit for children to amuse. Recommended.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The site is immaculately clean and as it is a small site, ideal for young children as you can always see them.
Shower and toilet blocks always very clean with plenty of free hot water. There is a fridge and freezer that you can have free use of.
Pitches are great. We have a really big tent and there is no way we were crammed in at all.
Owners extremely pleasant and we have just booked for a week in August.
I really can't say enough good things about this site.

We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend, it is a fabulous little site, immaculately clean, the owners are really friendly and will help you out with anything.
Their is a shed for freezing your ice blocks, 3 showers and 3 toilets.
The play area is clean and the kids played their for ages.
Only slight problem we had was trying to find our way around the towns, a sat nav is a must!

This was our very first camping trip and I chose it because of all the great reviews people had kindly left (thank you).
Although the weather was challenging! The trip was great. The site was so quiet, play area great, the toilets and showers were immaculate and the owner was very pleasant. We have 3 small children, all under 5 and it was ideal for them. They had freedom to play and loved feeding the chickens and baby lambs. It is an ideal setting for children and would highly recommend it.
We are now hooked on camping and I am currently looking for a new site and checking out all the reviews.
