Excellent site. Easily the best one I've visited on Anglesey. Pitches were well spaced out, grounds were well kept and shower facilities were spotless. The children's play area and swings were well maintained and my kids enjoyed this site more than any other. Well situated for beaches near Aberfraww, Rhosneigr and cable Bay. Local shop in Bethe was not so well stocked and was a bit of a rip off but Asda in Llangefni was in easy reach. Two local pubs, one in Rhostrewfra and one in Bethel. Also The Joiner's Arms down the road at Hermon were all within easy drive. Washing machine facilities on site and also electric hook ups- all in all a very friendly and well kept site.

Just got back from a nice quiet few days at this camp site. The owner of the site was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. There is a chalet style shed/bathroom. It has toilet, shower, hand basin and mirror. Very clean and tidy. There is also a purpose built toilet / shower block. 1 gents, 1 ladies, and 2 showers. Also very clean and tidy. The play area kept our 5 year old daughter amused, with the swings and toys that are there for all to use. A football for my two sons seemed to do the trick with them. The washing up facilities were adequate, but if it rains you'll get wet. And one major drawback is that the chemical toilet disposal point is right behind you (within 6ft) and the drinking water tap is right next to that. A bit more planning would have gone a long way. Wasps, wasps, wasps. They seem to be a problem. One of the permanent residents seemed to think that there was a nest in the hedgerow. They seemed to stop at around 5pm, so you could bbq in relative peace. All in all a nice little site, not too far away from anywhere.

This is a fantastic little campsite! We received a warm welcome from Mrs Foulkes. She had given us directions when we rang to confirm our booking. TIP: Do not trust your SatNav to get you there as mine took me through the windiest single track lanes imaginable - ask the owners for their directions, they're so much more concise! The campsite itself is small, yet immaculately tended to. There are pitches for tents and pitches with electric hook-ups as well. The toilet/shower blocks are spotlessly clean and there is plenty of (VERY) hot water. The children's play area is a large swingset in an enormous sandpit with plenty of toys that kept our 3 year old amused for ages. There are facilities for laundry and a nice touch is the fridge and freezer that are free to use. You can buy fresh eggs from the farm. The best bit about this campsite is that it is secluded enough for a peace and quiet holiday, yet there is so much to do on Anglesey that's never too far away. The next village has a very well stocked and reasonably priced shop that also supplies take-aways.

We stayed for 3 nights, and found the site to be nice and peaceful it is in a good location for a base to explore the island. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The approach to the site is up a one track lane just over a mile,w ith a few pass places. The only downside for us was the toilets, there is a small swiss type chalet with a shower and toilet, and the new toilet block has 1 ladies and 1 gents toilet, each has a wash basin and mirror, and 2 showers, (no urinals) The showers had no mirrors or adequate shelf space for your toiletries to brush your hair you have to go into toilet to use mirror. Also there is no hand dryers or paper tissue to dry your hands on after using the loo, and the owners do not provide toilet paper, as they say it gets wasted
It is however really good value for your money as it was £12 all in. We would use this site again.

This is a fantastic little campsite. Very rural, quiet and of a great standard. Its in a good spot for exploring Anglesey.
The new shower/toilet block was immaculate as was the other toilet/shower which was in a very pretty little log cabin.
The owner met us on arrival and was very friendly, made us feel very welcome and said we could pitch anywhere on the tent bit. There was only one other tent there when we were there so we had plenty of room.
The central play area was a hit with our children.
The local shop was only 5 mins drive away and was very well stocked.
Being only an hour or so from home we will undoubtedly return.

We had a fantastic time at this site. Mr and Mrs Foulkes had a new shower block built which was ready for use which had two more showers and toilets. These were wonderful and kept spotlessly clean as with the other toilet, shower room. Mr and Mrs Foulkes were really nice helpful owners and made our stay extra special. A lovely quiet site with lovely safe play area for our 9 year old son. We can recommend the fresh farm eggs. A fantastic stay and we shall visiting again without a doubt.

Not sure I want to leave a review in case everyone goes as we are planning a return visit! This was our first time camping with our 2 year old twins and our pitch and this site was perfect for us. This is only a small site and most pitches are in site of the playground. The swings were a bit old for them - but they loved the sand and enjoyed playing with the cars / bikes and older children. We had electric hook up (great value £9 per night) and as soon as we got there they were gone to the playground - I could see and hear them so felt quite comfortable (let us put the trailer tent up too!). Another plus for small children is the field at the end with sheep and chickens - we had to go and say good night each day. Because it was small I found it very friendly - we got given milk, eggs and the offer of a heater from one of the caravans one night (many thanks). Downside - one toilet/shower in a hut - but I have to say it was lovely (and I am quite fussy!) - was quieter in the afternoon for a shower with the kids - they are building a shower / toilet block although I'm not sure when it will be ready (should be soon). Also, on the thursday of the easter weekend I think the farmer was spreading manure (a bit pongy but bearable and also on only on one day!). Anglesey has loads to do but there is also a farm park about 2 minutes drive away from the site which the kids absolutely loved - £16 for the 4 of us but take a picnic as the food is quite expensive and didn't look that good value. Basic, cheap but very good value - will go back again soon.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at this small farm site and have to echo all comments made, this is a quiet, clean and friendly site and the owners are warm and welcoming. The views are pretty with sheep in the field behind and there are free range eggs available which we thoroughly enjoyed. On the bank holiday at the most there were 5 tents and about 10 caravans with plenty of space and a small field for the kids to kick a ball about. There was only one shower and two toilets (one was a portaloo) but there was no real problem as the site is so small I only had to wait once for someone in the shower. There is a washing machine, microwave, freezer, plug socket with mirror in a shed. There is also a little play area set in sand so the little ones can make sand castles and dig about to their hearts content! All in all a lovely site which we will be returning to.

We had a great weekend owners could not do enough for us. Gave everyone a pack when arrived with all details of local attractions, nearby shop (just down the road) and details of where to eat that takes families. If you are after some where quiet this is the place, Could do with more showers but I believe this is been sorted. We will be going again in the future, and would recommend a stay.

What a fantastic site, the owners were lovely and very very friendly. They could not do enough for us. There was a pretty shed with a toilet, shower and sink in and also a porta loo and porta shower. The owners are building a toilet block at the moment. The site was clean, well kept and brilliant views. The play area was very safe. There were only 7 caravans and 5 tents the week we were there and it never gets any busier. I will be going again and thoroughly recommend it to anyone. At £6 a night its a must
