We stayed at Deer's Mead for a week in June. Lovely quiet adults only site. Toilet and shower block superb, always clean. Free WiFi on site. Each pitch has its own water, waste, EHU and TV hook up. Each pitch is numbered and clearly separated by some newly planted bushes, which will make each pitch more private once the hedges have grown! All the pitches are quite large with plenty of space to park next to your unit. Owners very friendly and helpful. One caravan managed to become detached from the tow car as it left the site, warden phoned for help but between us other campers we managed to get it back on the tow car! Nice pub 1 mile down the lane, Erpingham Arms, good food normal pub prices. Good location within easy reach of local attractions. Will definitely be back.

Really peaceful relaxing site. The toilets and showers are very modern and immaculately clean. It is an ideal location with the lovely Norfolk coastline and The Norfolk Broads only a short journey distance away. If you want to get away and relax without any interruptions this is the place for you.

Most of the pitches are pea shingle/grass so if you are camping a would definitely request an all grassed pitch. I have camped in the past and I wouldn't want to camp on pea shingle.

Wow what a brilliant site. I loved that I could book online and get confirmed pitch number by email. The instructions to get there were excellent and we had a wonderful welcome from the warden.

Each pitch has water, TV point, electricity and waste and were on hard standing. They were a little sloping forward but hardly a problem. As for the facilities I have never seen better even in many hotels. Ladies had 4 cubicles and 2 showers fully tiled with seat, hooks and a fabulous huge shower head and ample hot water. Everything was scrupulously clean at all times.

Pitches 1-8 back onto the road and have a little road noise but the site is so quiet that you really don't notice.

Wifi was good but seemed to be intermittent and I couldn't get a signal in the morning on two of the days. Lovely location garage for a paper etc is just up the road.

Just spent 4 nights at this gem of a site. Adults only so nice and quiet with like minded campers to chat to and socialise with. Well set out fully serviced pitches with hard stand and grass. Toilet block was super - very clean and warm! Lots of hot water from the showers which is a rarity. Minor point - could have been more hooks/shelves in showers and round washbasins. Owners very friendly and helpful. Local bus stop was handy. Nearest pub seemed to be closed most of the time unfortunately. Not the cheapest site but well worth the money. We will certainly use this site again.

Have been to this site twice this summer and enjoyed both visits. The site is well organised and clearly set out with big pitches with electric, water, tv, waste. Although hard standing pitches require rock pegs for tents if you want to pitch on hardstand although there is room to pitch on grass side of your pitch if you wish. Toilets are fabulous and having music while you shower is pleasant. Kept clean and tidy throughout. Plenty of good dog walks and pub with good food nearby. Peaceful site ideal for a relaxing break. Will be back next year.

Sat here on site in my caravan I am reluctant to write a review. I want to keep this little gem all to myself ! but sshhh just between me and you. If you are looking for a small, quiet, luxury, Adults only site, this is it. All the pitches are super pitches, some are all grass and some hard standing. Each pitch has a hook up to the TV, and Wi-fi is free, again available to each pitch. The toilet block will put most first class hotels to shame and the washing up and laundry areas are to the same standard. The local shop/garage is just a few minutes walk away and has a great range. Cromer has the larger supermarket and a Lidl-which we like, is a pleasant 10 minute drive. A real ale pub serving great food is 20 minutes easy walk away. You do feel as if you really are 'away from it all' here in this peaceful envioroment. With a simple pricing policy with no extra charge for awnings or dogs this site really does bring caravanning into the 21st century.

Pitches are large and fully serviced with Electric, Water, TV & Grey water outlet. Hard stand on slight slope but no problem we used blocks. Only problem is the grey water waste is at the top of slope! Toilet block is good and clean but could have been better designed. No private cubicles, showers are large and no timer on shower which is unusually good. Water could not drain away quickly enough and flowed into adjoining shower. Could be more hooks and shelving in the shower as well as hook in the toilets. Outer door opens opposite the men's toilets and looks directly onto cubicles and urinal! Would be better if the doors had springs so they closed after use. We have stayed in other sites which are better planned and equipped and cost less per night.

Washing up and laundry facilities are excellent as is the layout and general upkeep of the sight.

Just came back from a 4 night stay at Deers Mead. Excellent site with great facilitates, has only recently reopened in April with new toilet block, which has been done to a very good standard. The showers are excellent!

Fully serviced pitches like we had, were very spacious and well maintained.

Would recommend site and will be returning again.

Excellent site, adults only, only recently opened after taking over the site and spending 2 years making it into what it is now. They also own Deer's Glade which is just up the road which we have visited several times too.

Fabulous brand new shower block, with large head shower with plenty of hot water and no push button! If I had to be really picky it would be there is no shelf in the shower to put your bits on. The shower does have a partition with a seat to get dressed, but found the drain was at the front so the water tended to go to where you needed to stand, There is a free hairdryer to use, but again this is right next door to the end toilet, so as the doors open outwards you would get thumped, and again no shelf to put your brushes on. In my opinion it would have been better the otherside of the door. If the outer door of the mens toilet is left open open you can see the mens urinals, bit strange.

There is a great washing up room, laundry room, plenty of bins and recycling. A small room with leaflets in.

The pitches are all fairly flat, we had pitch 24 in the corner, a grass pitch, and was really pleased with it. We chose grass as getting a bit fed up with not being able to get pegs into hard standing and ruining our awning carpet. There is electric, tv point, water tap and waste water on each pitch. Very quiet site, we will certainly be returning.

Perfectly placed to visit North Norfolk, only about 10 minutes from Cromer, and a bit further on the beautiful Sherringham. A few steam railways at Aylsham and Sherringham and plenty of smaller towns to visit.

Thoroughly recommend.

 Wow, wow and wow again!

From first arriving at this 'Adult Only' site first impressions were it was good, very good! And this grew into excellent. The pitches were laid out carefully each having it's own electric, drinking water, ( TV aerial point and waste water drainage, if needed)

Having a a tent we came prepared with suitable tent pegs (£10 for 20 from Go Outdoors) and we needed them.

The toilet and free shower facilities which were heated were 5 star without a doubt.

This was a rare few days without the children and a first camping trip for my wife, who has now been spoilt rotten and thinks all camping is like this.

We will be back next year when we have a child free period.

Note to self. Don't pitch under a tree as the tent gets covered in sap!
