Having just read all the reviews on this Site, I think that all previous and potential users of this Site should be made aware of the fact that on April 1 2009, the husband of the proprietor of this site, unexpectedly passed away - rather than let us all down the proprietor bravely made the decision to stay open for the season. So the shower block was not cleaned as often as it should have been - but that LADY has a heart of gold and stayed open for us, and I for one, will be using this Site as long as she is there.

A lovely, quiet site. The owner is friendly and helpful. Although there is not allot of facilities on this adult site we found it more appealing than one of the bigger sites.
Aylesham is only 10 minutes away and there are big supermarkets and restaurants. We had a lovely dinner in Cromer on the sea front, which is 10 minutes from the campsite.
The pitches are good and have free electric hook-up. We will definitely be returning to this site.

Just got back from 5 happy days at this quiet adult only site. It was nearly full most days. Still only one shower for males and one for females which could be a problem but I chose to use it at quieter times. Toilets are fine and were always clean. Good site for getting to coast, the Broads or Norwich.
Take Erpingham turning with camping logo on sign.
Nice pint of beer at local.

We were booked to stay on this site for 4 nights however after getting our pitch and visiting the toilets we decided we didn't want to stay and asked for a refund. The facilities needed updating and cleaning. The one shower per male / female was in very poor condition with a dirty mop bucket provided to clean it out. I would not recommend this site if like us you have no facilities of your own.
Otherwise site seemed quiet and garden well tended.

We stayed at this adults only site in September, weather was good and we found the site very restful and relaxing. Other caravaners were very friendly and talkative. Although some overnight rain, the grassy pitches drained easily. A circular road goes round the site so it's easy to pull onto the inner roadway anyway. Toilets adequate, but shower - one for each sex - could do with an up-date, but as have own services in caravan this didn't worry us, and we would definitely visit again. Facilities shared by adjacent CC CL site - also adults only. Has a beautiful central garden, but this also could do with a current gardener. Adequate electric hook-ups and water close at hand. Easy access from external roads. Handy for Cromer and the Broads.

Ve just returned from one week at Little Haven Caravan and Camping Park. The site was small and quiet and adults only! The owners were friendly and provided bricks for us to stand our disposable bbq on. They also froze ice packs for a small donation in one of their charity boxes. Although there is only one shower for each sex they were hot and free! The one downside was the cleanliness of the toilet block. While the floor was mopped each day the sinks were not at all clean and if anything they got progressively worse over the course of the week. We went to the local pub on the main road which served reasonably priced food but I would recommend booking as it only has a small kitchen and had to serve our party of 12 in two sittings!

August 2005 A very quiet peaceful site (apart from the wood pigeons which were very active whilst we were there), where caravans, motorhomes and tents are all mixed in together around the outside of a central circle. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The biggest drawback and the one that may stop us from visiting again was the facilities. The cloakrooms were not cleaned at all whilst we were there (Monday to Thursday) which was obvious from the bins not being emptied, to the same marks left in the one shower and the grass cuttings on the floor from Monday until we left. It was difficult getting into the ladies area because of the overgrown foilage. As the previous reviewer said very tiny sinks, downstairs cloakroom size. Also the central circle was planted beautifully and obviously was once attractive but was becoming overgrown and had not been weeded in a long time. If you want peace, quiet and a small number of people and are prepared to put up with the poor facilities then it is very conviently placed for the coast and the countryside.

June 2005 A pleasant, quiet, 24 pitch, adult-only site with one shower/toilet block. The site is within walking distance of 2 pubs and there is a good public footpath nearby for exercising your dog. There is a road running down one side of the site, which probably averages about a car every five minutes, but the noise didn't bother us. No shop on site but very close to Aylesham, which has excellent provisions shops.
My only criticism would be that the shower/toilet block could do with an update. The sinks are very small and with only one shower for each sex, must get pretty busy when the site is full.

Sept 2003 This is an Adults only site. It has 24 pitches all with electricity arranged around a gravel road. We found that the pitches were a little small and found that we could not have our tents side porch up due to closeness of the neighbours’ car. Fees were £10 a night including electricity.
The shower block is a little tired, with small washing sinks and one shower for each sex. There are two washing up sinks and a chemical toilet disposal outside.
We stayed a week and although the toilet block was clean, I did notice some mud in the shower that appeared after the third day and was still there when we left.
However all things considered a peaceful site, which I would recommend.
