Visited this site for the first time in June. We had read other reviews first.
We were shown to our pitch by a very nice chap. We were placed next to the small play area, which at first we thought would not be bad as we have three kids. Was we wrong! The park itself is perfectly fine. The fishing pond was a big hit with us all. We just felt a little under siege by the dozens of kids who used the park throughout the day.
The park itself is fine, just don't be put next to the park!

We found the site condition excellent, level and tidy. At first glance the toilet block and showers looked dirty and neglected, however this was not the case as we noticed, they was just drab and outdated
Everything we needed was nearby eg. shops, eating places, sea pubs, also just a short walk from fantasy island and outdoor market, whilst on the site we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful
We thoroughly enjoyed our week there

We stayed at the Country Meadows over the Easter Bank Holiday and really enjoyed ourselves, so much so that we have just rebooked for May Day Bank Holiday!
The people are really friendly and helpful. The site is kept really tidy. We didn't use the shower blocks because our caravan has its own, but what I saw of them they were clean and tidy. There is a specified dog walking area, which most people used. The children's park is basic but kept the kids entertained.
We were able to leave the car as most things were within walking distance.
Definitely recommend giving this site a try.

We stayed here over the Easter weekend, The site was in good condition with the ground being reasonably level. The site seemed to have EHU throughout.
The site entrance was controlled by a barrier system, to which you had to leave a £10 deposit for the barrier key(this was returned on return of the key)
Even though the site was full there was adequate space between the vans.
The site has it's own generator and they were having some problems with it which meant it could be noisy at times, I think this was down to the volume of units on the site, saying that don't be put off by it, once the site thinned out on the Monday the generator seemed fine.
The toilet block was ok, the shower's operated by a token which cost 30p which you purchased from the reception.
The site is very well located for Ingoldemlls and fantasy island, which now use wrist bands for the fair. This kept my daughter and her friend occupied from when it opened at 10:30am to when it closed at 10:00pm well worth the cost.
The weather was reasonable which made the weekend all that much better.
I would definitely return to this site again and recommend it to anyone.

Love this site great location for fantasy island and market. Lovely friendly people who own it not much for kids to do on site but doesn't matter as there is so much to do in ingoldmells itself. Good beach and very close to skegness as well. Not far from butlins which is briil for a day out even if you only go for the pool its well worth it. The showers at the site were ok and the ground is quite level a lot of duck poo about and there is a shop next door. We will return

Went to this site for a long weekend 1/08/08 until 4/8/08 had a great time. The site was clean and tidy ladies toilets could do with a more regular clean so the wife tells me but the gents was ok (makes a change). Would definitely use the site again only 5-10 min walk to the bell pub good for happy hour!

I visited this site before booking it as I was dubious due to some of the reviews posted on this site. Let me say the following:
The site is very well kept, grass and hedges were cut during our stay and cleared up immediately (incidentally we were situated right next to the toilet/shower block) The site was not full, which was a plus point as it was during school term time.
We are all early risers on holiday (5 am. For me and when I visited the toilet block they had ALREADY been cleaned and disinfected/bleached.
They did get grass cuttings brought in on a few occasions during the day, but no more than any other sites we have visited.
The fishing lake on site is very well stocked. It is just far enough away from the bright lights of Fantasy Island and the market, one of the reasons for my choice, not rowdy at all.
Staff are very courteous and friendly.
We were NOT hassled to be off at 10.00 am. Although I can imagine this may be different if the site is busy, due to the size of the site.
Showers were fine, perhaps ready for a makeover, as although they were hot enough, they were not adjustable temperature wise. One token (30p) was ample (and I like a long shower !) There is a shop on the site next door for provisions and plenty of shops within a few minutes walk if you wish.
I would certainly visit again

Went to this site for august bank holiday as we could not get in at any other site, when we got there it seemed a nice site but as the day went on it only got worse. The shower block and toilets were filthy plus you had to pay for tokens for the pleasure of seeing the filth. They said that the showers and toilets were cleaned at 11.00am every morning, but we did not see anybody. On the last morning they were rushing you to be off site by 10.00am, I know people want to come on the site but from 09.30am a chap came round telling you to hurry up. It is a site we wont be returning to in a hurry

We visited this site at May Day bank holiday weekend and were surprised at home many pitches were still available! This site is nicely kept and has toilet and shower facilities. I didn't use the showers as I prefer to use my van, but OH said they were OK. It's a 15 minute walk from the site to the fantasy Island area but away from the hussle and bussle and 'dip' in to it when required. There is a decent supermarket a few minutes walk away and a fish and chip shop. The lady receptionist can be a bit frosty but the man who runs the site is very friendly. We had to vacate our pitch by 11:00! So don't have too much to drink the night before! All in all I would stay at this site again.

We returned to this site at the end of July (our previous visit a couple of years ago) and we were not disappointed. Due to the recent very wet weather the site was having a few problems with flooding but they worked really hard and fast at solving it. The staff were really friendly and we were pleased that country meadows now accepts us tent dwellers once more! toilets and showers clean and tokens for showers still a reasonable 30p for about ten minutes. Pitches are a good size and are on even ground. there is a good long dog walk around the edges of the site which is nice for those with four legged friends. My other half and son used the fishing pond, this boasts some good sized carp etc and although not the biggest of ponds there was plenty of room for all the keen anglers. This is a great family orientated, friendly site that is near enough to local attractions and the beach but far away enough for you to get a decent nights sleep! hooray!
