The owners of the site are very friendly. Well stocked shop on adjoining site which was about a 5 minute walk from our tent. Beach was only 10 minute walk away and lots to do within easy walking distance, we did not use the car all weekend. The toilets/showers were basic but clean, only drawback is that there was just 1 large block for whole campsite so they were always very busy.

This is a Nice clean well kept site. The toilet block was basic it had plenty of toilets but only three showers, these need a token which you get at the reception for 30p. The site is walking distance to the beach and to the pubs and shops, Has there is no shop or pub facilities on site but everything is close enough off site. We had a very enjoyable week which was made even better by the superb weather we had. I would return to this site again

Just spent a lovely weekend at this site and would agree with previous posts regarding the toilets, showers etc. I would just like to point out that the caravan park no longer allows tents and trailer tents, I think that this is a new rule for this year which is a bit sad for campers, and unfortunately the way a lot of camp sites are going

A clean and tidy site. Wardens are friendly and helpful. Tokens for showers. Caravans are well spaced out. You can get a barrier key for £10 which is refundable when returned. Everything is in walking distance, but not to near to get all the noise from arcades etc. Small park and fishing lake on site. No ball games, kites or gazebos. Worth a visit.

Have been to this site for 5 years. The site is basic but caravans well spaced with numbered pitches. Shops are a short walk away, beach and arcades are within walking distance. The shower blocks were clean and disabled facilities are available, showers are by token though. This site is ideally situated.

May 2005 Good well kept site. Key required to get on and off site. Toilet and shower block ok. Staff helpful. Will go again. Central to Fantasy island etc. Good pitches level and well drained. Shops and pubs within walking distance also not far from the beach or cafes.

August 2004 This was the first time we had been to this site and we were not disappointed, the site was clean and friendly and we were within close distance to the beach, shops, family entertainment and other amenities. With two children we felt safe that the camping area was away from the road and the family atmosphere made it a pleasant holiday. Showers are by token meter and tokens are available from the office. The site entrance is protected by barriers so if you wish to go on and off site in car, by giving a refundable deposit you can get a key to lift the barriers so come and go when you please. Although there is no shop on site there are shops close by that are open till late for groceries etc. we had a brilliant holiday, fun and relaxing, we will definitely return to this site again.

June 2003 My wife and i have stayed here for the past three years the site is clean, quiet and run by a very friendly couple. The local amenities are all just a short walk, the toilet facilities are clean and warm. We will be returning again this year.

July 2003 We found that the camp site was well kept and very clean. The situation was brill for us as everything (including fantasy island) was in walking distance. The only tiny let down was the bad smell that was always drifting over, probably from the kids farm next door. But this would certainly not put us off going again.
