We stayed here for 10 days. This is a lovely peaceful site.
The wardens are excellent and makes you feel at home here. They were ever so welcoming on arrival and always ready to help when you had a question.
The toilet block is always clean and tidy. The pitches are large and well set out.
There is no play area for children but the area with all its walks will keep them occupied!
There are many walks in the area ranging from very easy riverside walking to steep high hill walking.
Skipton is the nearest town where there is an excellent Morrisons store.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Wharfedale and we most certainly be back.

A site up to normal caravan club standards set in a beautiful location. The toilet block is clean and tidy and the site itself is well laid out with ample sized hard standings. TV is via a hookup which is great and should be on all club sites.
The site is situated 9 miles from Skipton, a delightful town with loads to do and see. There was a market on Saturday which I suppose isn't unusual seeing as it's a market town. There's plenty of shops to rummage around before heading off for some really tasty cod n chips from Bizzy Lizzy's and a pint or three from the good selection of taverns all around you. Wonderful.
Grassington, picture postcard village, is about 2 miles away and is easily accessible via pitch 105(ask at reception). It has some lovely little shops, tea rooms and pubs.
The Gamekeepers arms on site is very nice and prices are reasonable. This is a lovely, tranquil site that I would highly recommend.

Having just spent 9 nights at this wonderful site we are booking again for next month. We were only going to stay for 4 nights but it was that picturesque and wonderful the wardens were very helpful in enabling us to extend our visit. We stayed on a grass pitch (Number 33 on millionaires row).
Yes with the weather we had the pitch did get boggy but it soon drained away. Fantastic for doggy walks - 2 minutes and you are on the moors - glorious views - plenty of walks from site - my poor dogs got walked to death. Coming home for a rest!
You can walk into threshfield grassington and linton with ease. Had a look around facilities and they looked fine - didn't use them as we used our own in caravan. Try the home baked scones that are on sale in office - soo tasty.
You must try the Gamekeepers Inn on site - they accept muddy boots and soggy dogs. Very friendly service and food delicious. Not expensive either for both beer and food.
You can also use swimming baths gym and spa on long ashes but it isnt cheap - I believe it was £7. 50 per day per person.
The site comes highly recommended and cant wait to return.

Stayed here for seven glories nights. Good welcome then chose our space. The site was very busy with not many spaces left, however managed to find a really good one next to the play park.
Good location to explore north Yorkshire with all its beautiful villages and walks.
We walked quite a bit on this holiday and there were lots of other walkers in the caravan site (we could tell this by all the walking boots drying under caravans).
The toilet blocks are kept really clean and although there is only the one block for this site I never queued at all and a nice touch is that there is a little toilet and washbasin to use should the toilets be closed for cleaning.
Good information room with lots of leaflets and customer comments books on best places to eat which there are lots.
Next to the caravan site is a static site and retirement village with a very good pub/hotel and also a beautiful leisure/spa complex and I treated myself to a swim/steam/sauna/jacuzzi for £7. 50 which is an all day ticket so you can use in the morning and go back again in the evening, just the thing if you have had a hard day walking.
The nearest larger town is Skipton which we visited twice and has a market in the main street, also a fabulous canal to walk along or like us perhaps take a canal boat ride.
Lots of pretty wee villages and loads of walking in the area and I could easily go on and on so the best thing I can do is thoroughly recommend this site and North Yorkshire as one of the best holidays we have had, we will of course be back.
Last but not least are the gorgeous bunny rabbits at Wharfedale, they are everywhere, boucing around, mummy ones, daddy ones and wee baby ones so if you don't want bunny poo in your caravan take your shoes off before entering.

I love this campsite and have been going for 4 years and will continue to. The wildlife is fab.
The only thing I noticed on this visit is that signs have popped up everywhere, loads & loads of signs we counted 35 signs just in the reception area.
The wardens are exceptional and the site is immaculate but just loads of signs.
As always the loo's are immaculate even the rubbish bins shine.
The pub up the road has just reopened and is excellent even let dogs in and the leisure club is a must. All in all fantastic weekend.

We agree with every positive thing written about this site and will definitely aim to stay there again.
We booked on line for 1 week but the CC web page showed the site fully booked at the end of our stay, needing to extend for 2 nights to go to a family birthday was going to mean moving, but the wardens were able to find room for us which was more than we could have expected.
The only down side was trying to lever the dogs off the windows as they thought the rabbits were irresistible (and looked tasty).

We stayed at Wharfdale Park for 2 nights. This is our first time on a Caravan Club site and it was immaculate. This is the nicest site we have ever stayed on.
The location is excellent, the facilities outstanding, friendly. A really good experience.
Our welcome was first rate, clear guidelines do and don’t of the site. Everything you need to know is provided at the time you arrive. The pitches are not designated to you so you can pick your pitch.
Showers & Toilets
The facilities on this site were excellent, fully serviceable shower block, which is heated very clean with enough toilets, showers and private wash cubicles to support the wholes site. Clean mops are left out so that everyone can mop there shower after use.
Other facilities in the Toilet block include, drying room, laundry room, pot wash and food prep area, waste water, chemical disposal point. All Excellent. There are a number of water points, waste water and chemical disposal points dotted around the site. Full waste recycle facility at each water point.
Information shed packed with leaflets for the surrounding area.
Small on site shop stocking essentials.
Pitches
The pitches were clearly marked out large on gravel hard standing area. The TV signal in this area isn’t very strong however the on site shop sold a cable for £13, but we didn’t use our TV.
The surround area is beautiful. It’s a 1 mile walk into Grassington which is well worth the visit. There are signposts all around the area which show you how to walk to Grassington away from the road. Spectacular scenery everywhere you go
We found everyone really friendly in this part of the world, proud to say we are from Yorkshire.
Very nice site, expensive but very nice.

We had a fortnight at this very peaceful site. No traffic noise at all, great wildlife. We watched the baby rabbits having their breakfast just inches from our bedroom window every day, saw mice scamper along the drystone walls, and an assortment of wild birds to watch.
Only one toilet block that was a little outdated in decor, but spotlessly clean.
Just 9 miles distance from Skipton, a town that has everything you could want as well as lots to see. Good pubs locally with reasonably priced meals.
Staff on site helpful on arrival but we didn't see them much after that. When I handed barrier key back in at end of stay, there was no comment. Would have been nice to have been asked if we'd enjoyed our stay, and maybe like to see us again.

We arrived at the reception to book in. When we came out the car wouldn't start. The warden was so helpful he hooked the caravan up to the tractor and put it on our pitch. We eventually had the car towed away to the local garage but they couldn't tell us when it would be ready.
We were to go home on the Thursday and asked if we could stay a few more nights if necessary but they were full on the saturday night but said if we had to stay they would make sure there was a pitch available.
It was so nice to know that we didn't have to get someone to tow it back for us. So we would like to say a big thank you again. The site is really nice good clean facilities and the walks from the site (we know them all having no car for four days) are never ending.
An easy walk into Grassington takes about half an hour and your can walk along the river both ways. A really enjoyable five days. We would go back again.

We always like sites where we can walk to places, and first impressions are that this site is a bit out of the way. However the Old Hall pub is only a short walk on the footpath from back of the site, Grassington is also walkable but is uphill on the way back. Our favourite day out from here has to be a walk to the Fountaine Inn at Linton, which is about 45 minutes walk (with kids so am sure could be done quicker). Top notch food and beer is served all day and if the weather is good then a pint outside whilst the kids play on the village green is idyllic. The path to Linton from the site has beautiful views but can be confusing as there are quite a few stiles and junctions so it is worth studying the map before setting out.
Facilities on site are to usual Caravan Cub standards. Play area is a bit small but it still seems to keep our kids happy.
