Good site that is very well spaced. Clean toilets and showers. There is lots to do! Make sure kids get to animal feeding (it was at 4.30 PM while we were there). Good shop and bar. Well positioned for the local area and not farm from the Eden Project and good beaches.

What an excellent site, just returned home yesterday. I have no idea why it wasn't full this weekend. The views are great, glorious hills, and the stars are amazing at night. The site is very family friendly, with play areas in most of the fields, which means you can keep an eye on yours without having to walk away from your tent!. More to the point if you're looking for a quiet site, then this is it, its relaxing for adults and enough fun for the kids. The pool gets full quickly, they could do with one about twice the size. There are tables & chairs around the pool so you can watch the children in comfort, you can even take your dog to the upper patio area. There is a generous dog paddock to exercise them, but the owners are not pernickety if you wander around the unused fields, as long as you clear up after them. There are 'rules' but nothing too strict. Something I think would benefit campers and caravanners alike is some consistency in the fire regs. This site says to park your car then put your tent up to the left of it, so it ends up car, tent, car tent, which isn't very conducive to creating that family tent enclosure if you're travelling with family/friends. They say this is to create a fire barrier, but I have been to sites where as long as there is a 6m gap between tents you're operating within the regs. The kids love the animals, with mavis and poppy the pigs being the star attractions, based on their huge sizes and bellowing snoring! They have al paca's, donkeys, rabbits, chickens wandering around. The shower blocks are OK, there is one which is obviously newer than the others, but the site needs to do something about the hairdryers, none of them work and haven't for some time, and there are no plug points, pretty girlie thing I know, but it would be nice to have something that basic, whilst they're improving those they could install some decent hand dryers too! Didn't use the bar or takeaway so can't comment on how good/bad that is. The shop is OK, but Asda is only 4 miles away for food for your bbq. Attractions such as the Eden project are very close, and the nearest beach is at Caerhays (Porth Luney) which is a small but lovely beach about 15 mins away. Basic shop & loos, but here is a major tip, put you and your children in beach shoes, even in the water. This coast is having problems with Weaver fish, there are no warning signs and my daughter was badly stung, it took half an hour for the pain to start subsiding, and we saw 5 others in the time we were there, and apparently its like this every day! The shop sells shoes for about £4, and I have written to the Caerhays estate asking them to put signs up as its a private beach. All in all we had a great time, the weather helped of course, but I'd definitely go there again.

Just come back from the best holiday I have ever had! The site is spotless the shower and toilet blocks are very clean and checked on a regular basis. Great food too in the on site restaraunt. FANTASTIC burger van also situated on the site. Excellent outside pool nice and warm! several lakes for fishing which are well cared for. Plots for tents are good too, good parks for kids. In July it was nice and quiet.
Also a well stocked shop which had everything. Staff are really friendly especially 'RICH & LORRAINE' you made our holiday the BEST CHEERS!
JUST GO & FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF! you wont be let down!

This is a really lovely site to stay. Last year we did keep our van on site for the season.

It is very spacious so when there are alot of people staying it still seems quite.

They have got lovely walks around the fishing lakes.

It is brilliant if you have dogs  they have got  a couple of large fields so they can have a run.

There is plenty for the kids to do to.

The staff were always pleasant and  willing to help.

Stayed at Trencreek last year after the new owners had recently taken over. Showers are now free and were clean. The site definitely has the potential to be a lot bigger and I would be interested to know if that has happened. The kids loved both the pool and the play areas. The animals, especially the donkeys were firm favourites with my daughter and you could buy a small bag of food from the shop to feed them. The bar / restaurant was open every night when we stayed and the food was lovely and well priced, made a change from BBQs! No entertainment which suited us fine and kept the noise levels down at night. Got used to being woken at 5am every morning by the resident cockerell!

Lovely site, lots for the kids to do and see, there is a childrens club that is open for 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the evening. Not much for adults but the new owners may change that in the near future. Great facilites but could benefit from more laundry for size of site although when we were there, there was a new shower block being built. Cant wait to go back next year

We just got back from Trencreek farm and I can't praise it enough. We have a Royal Montpellier 12 tent and usually have trouble pitching it in the space given and have to pay extra ,the pitches at trencreek were huge and we had space to park on either side of the tent.
The farm is great for the kids lots for them to do and my three who are 7, 8 and 14 loved it. It's nice and central for seeing all of cornwall within a couple of hours drive. The new shower block was fantastic, with rooms that had a shower a toilet and a washabsin and room to take a couple of kids in and shower them with you. Add to this the farm animals the zip wire the swimming pool the fishing
and you have the perfect capsite for a family holiday. The most amazing thing was that the site had nearly 1000 people on but it felt like there were about 50, all this for £126 for a family of five for a week ,you just can't go wrong.

Trencreek is an excellent campsite and we were pleased with everything we encountered.

The wash facilities were very clean. They were in the process of being replaced with an even more impressive, new facility.

As adults holidaying with no children we liked the atmosphere, which is family orientated but not at the expense of those will no children.

It was lovely and quiet with a wonderful heated pool and a large area to play ball games, etc. The animals were lovely and there were exciting play areas for children.

We would definitely come back.

Stayed here for a long lovely weekend, to recharge the batteries, in late May.
Food was great, the chef really knows his job, Sunday lunch was brilliant. Plenty of space on site and the pool warm and inviting, lots of space for the kids to roam and lots for them to do on site. This site is only four miles from the beach, the lakes on site are great, very scenic and the fishing brilliant.
A 250 mile trip each way for us and I cant wait to go again, highly recommended, staff really friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for 6 nights over half term. Very nice site - looks like it used to be a farm. This is potentially a big site with good facilities. Showers and toilets were aleays clean and the staff very friendly. The farm animals are great for the kids - and Mavis the pig is massive. Great site, highly recommended.
