We chose Home Farm as we wanted a site less than an hour from home for an overnighter, which would be quiet and have somewhere for a nice walk.
The owner was very helpful and had said as they weren't busy we could arrive early and leave late. The pool was open (we didn't use it though) but the bar was shut.
The pitch was large with it's own tap and electric hook-up - a bargain for £14.
We had a lovely walk on the beach and it was very quiet.
However, the downside was that only the family room (which contained 1 shower, 1 sink and 1 toilet) was open in the toilet and shower block and this room was very cold! I popped up for a shower this morning but couldn't bring myself to face the cold.
Also we wanted to sleep in but were woken at 8. 30am by a cement mixer where the site is having some building work done. We felt that this was too early for a Sunday morning.
We would visit again for an overnighter as the location and beach suit us perfectly - just maybe when it is a little warmer!

Just arrived back from a very relaxing and enjoyable short break from this very friendly and welcoming site.
We loved our early evening walks on the beach and our dog had a great time !
Would we stay here again. Absolutely.
Didn't use the showers etc as we are happy to use our motorhome for this so can't comment on them.
Paid a visit to Dunster castle and village and loved it. Very much worth a visit.
Looking forward to going back to this site :-)

Booked for 2 weeks at home farm. Took about 5 hours towing caravan from Nottinghamshire. The journey was ok with no problems but struggled to find any signs for the sharp right turn up the lane to home farm. Once we found the site down a long and bumpy track we where very pleased with the site and surroundings. Very clean and tidy with pool which we used everyday. A bar area with nice garden seating at the back. Children's playground etc. There are plenty of walks around the site and a steep walk way to the beech which is all large stones but the kids loved it. We were put on the touring terrace which over looked the sea this was flat and had great views. The only thing was it felt like we where in a car park and its all tarmac. The toilets where clean and tidy the only thing that let these down were the showers, 20p for a Luke warm shower that didn't last very long. Wouldn't like to be using them during cold days. Plenty of things to do within a 15 mile radius. Overall a nice site but please sort the showers out. Looking at some of the reviews this seems to be the thing everyone complains about. Been there seen it enjoyed it but wont be going back.

Beautiful site with fantastic view of the sea and surrounding countryside. We had three small tents and were pitched in Louise's patch not far from a couple of toilets and showers that were always clean.
The bar and beer garden were very pleasant with barbecues taking place when advertised. The indoor swimming that has to be booked in half hour slots was great for cooling off. My son and I had it to ourselves.
Walks around the site were lovely and easy access to the beach for a nice swim in the sea.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the site despite all the statics was very quiet.
Can't wait to go back!

Access to the site is not difficult. From the A39 take the B road for a short distance before turning onto the 1/2 mile private access drive.
The drive is single track but has ample passing places as it winds it's way down through the woods. Look out for those speed bumps though!
Staff on site are very pleasant to deal with and are most helpful.
The fully serviced caravan pitches are all weather (tarmac and gravel) and are set on an elevated terrace with views through the trees of the Bristol Channel. We did not use the toilet block so are unable to comment on it.
The site is very well kept and is nicely landscaped with a pond adjacent to reception. A site shop sells essentials and there is an on site bar with large beer garden for the better weather.
Use of the heated indoor pool is free, and like the rest of the site it is spotlessly clean.
The site also provides an adventure park and loads of open space for kids, but also benefits from direct beach access.
A very nice site that presents excellent value for money, and one which we will visit again.
Ps. While we were there relatives also stayed on site, but in a rented log cabin. They had no complaints.

Stayed half term week in February. Very well kept site. Nice pool to use. Toilet / shower blocks clean and tidy. Nice bar which we used twice, bbqs done in the peak season, nice beer garden. Play area was out of use for the children as it was being re built for the new season. Site has own private beach to use, but it's no more than a place to exercise the dog. Small shop on site, but we did not use it. Owners very pleasant and helpful. Good stay and I'am sure we will return.

Nice site with a mix of statics, chalets, flats, and tourers. It's well off the beaten track. Access is gained via a drive of a good mile and half through woods. There is a small shop on site and a indoor pool although we didn't use the pool. There is a private beach which when the tide was well out has a good bit of sand.
There is a bar on site which looks very small but is in fact quite big. It was very welcoming.
All in all a nice tidy well run site

Arrived on site and were immediately made welcome by the lady on reception. They were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
As it was close to the end of season there were very few people on site - only a handful of campervans meaning it was wonderfully peaceful.
We had a fully serviced hard standing pitch for our VDub and it as it was slightly elevated we had a bit of a view out over the channel.
We were impressed with how clean and well maintained the site was. Toilets were spotless.
The beach was an added bonus for us. We took a wander down to the coast expecting the usual tidal mudflats you get on this coast, but found it was a geologist's dream with the stone shelves becoming visible from underneath the tide. This beach wont suit everyone (there's no real sand), but we totally loved it because it was great for exploring. The little stream that runs next to the site shoots out over the cliff in a mini waterfall.
We will come back - a great base for exploring this half of the North Devon coat.

We stayed here for 3 night in our tent along with my sister in law who stayed in their caravan. We arrived late afternoon and it took ages to find some one to tell us where our pitches were
The pitch we stayed on was in the meadow and was on a hill with no electronic hook up, although we had to pay the same as those that did have the electric, which at £28. 50 a night, was not really impressive
We had permanent touring caravans behind us and static in front of us so we felt a little uncomfortable, like we shouldn't be there.
The showers cost 20p and although it did take the majority of the first 20p to heat up, there were nice, facilities were immaculate
The pub/food was reasonably priced
The beach was a bit hazardous to get down to and you do have to watch the tide (as with all beaches).
Even though this is a nice camp site, I don't think we will go back, this site is aimed towards families and caravanners which suits my sister in law and her family rather than me and my husband and our tent
So to sum it up we enjoyed to weekend but I think you need the kids to fully appreciate the site and the things it has to offer.

We stayed royal wedding week for 3 nights and expected it to be very busy.
We were the only tent in a camping field for the first 2 nights. The camping field was jammed between residential homes and was quite uneven - I get the impression they would prefer no tents there at all.
The toilet and shower block was immaculate.
No food served in the bar even though there is a picture of a bbq going on although the drinks were very reasonable. A pint of local cider, a large white wine and 2 cokes for under a tenner with crisps as well.
No map of the site showing play areas etc and it took our girls until the last day to find the best one.
You also have to book the pool and for an hour only which I think should be specified on the website although it worked well for us as you get the pool to yourselves.
It did suit us that we had a quiet spot for the tent and overall we did enjoy ourselves. We were happy to bbq each night and found an amazing butchers in williton which we used each day to restock for the bbq.
All in all a good time had but it is definitely mainly a tourers site and not set up for campers
