What a great find! Took my 4 year old to the site for one night; £12 was a bargain (electric, water and waste). Owners very friendly and accommodating. Great location on top of the cliffs, with sea views from the campervan pitches. 2 min walk down to the beach. Swimming pool was fantastic and in January we were the only ones in it. Adventure playground is another great addition. Pub was great on Saturday night and although not busy at this time of year was very friendly. No food available in the pub at this time of year but they suggested I contact a local takeaway (pizza's, burgers etc free delivery with >£10 spend) and have it delivered to the pub. Very clean site, only drawback is the 20p showers; its not the money but the principle that drives me mad!
Definitely be back and as we live only 30 mins away; so sooner rather than later I'd imagine! If only I was free this weekend.

We stayed at Home Farm for an autumn holiday after being unable to book for the summer hols as they were fully booked.
We had a bit of trouble finding the site but we drove down the beautiful wooded drive and had a picnic by the Reception in the late autumn sun (we managed to get there in the lunch break due to roadworks on the motorway, joy). We booked in and we're given our our pitch no. And parked in our parking space below the pitch.
The pitch was very generous and plenty of room between other tents. The electric hookup was perfectly placed and even lit overnight - ideal for sitting out in the evening and toilet trips.
The toilet block was up 2 sets of stairs and was excellent, always clean, excellent large family room. Only downside was paying for the showers which took a little while to warm up. The shop was well stocked and staff were really friendly and went out of their way to open the shop so we could buy a spare mattress when we realised our youngest's ready bed hadn't made it into our packing!
The whole site was clean and beautiful and there was ongoing maintenance.
Fabulous enclosed kids play area where you can sit in the beer garden while they play, table tennis, really cute bar inside. The swimming pool operates on a booking system with up to ten people at any time. The Receptionist very kindly booked us in on our own as my partner had forgotten his swim shorts and swam in his boxers!
The grounds of the site are big enough to make a good stroll and we climbed up the small hill to see the mini stonehenge and stunning views. The beach (with own waterfall) is to die for - we took a wander down at sunset and even the kids were stunned into silence.
Has to be one of the best sites I have ever stayed at. We have already booked for next summer and we can't wait to return!

Great hard standing for the winter months and excellent value for money for the facilities offered. Kids loved the swimming pool and adventure playground. Good sea view. Private beach best in the area for sand and rocks. Owners very friendly and helpful. Fish and chip van visits on a Saturday night along with a family disco.
Could do with speed bumps around the site as some people tended to drive too fast(25mph). There is a sign up saying 5 mph but took no notice.
Overall a fantastic site with excellent facilities.

Just returned from a 5 night stay and absolutely loved the site. We were on Louise's Patch which is quite sheltered, being between two rows of caravans. There are 7 pitches on this part and all are spacious with plenty of room to spread out. It is close to the smaller toilet block but still only a short walk from the main amenity block (both were always very clean). There is a brilliant play area which our 4 year old loved and it is next to the beer garden. The only criticism of the play area is that there are no lights so as soon as it goes dusk it gets closed. The Harness bar is lovely with reasonably priced drinks. We went to the Sunday afternoon BBQ and also thought that the food was quite reasonably priced. We only managed to go to the beach once because the weather was quite cool but it is great with plenty of space to play and rocks for fossil hunting. The on site shop is well stocked and you can order papers and fresh bread from there. The lady will also re-freeze any ice packs you have. We went swimming once and had a good time. There is a really shallow bit which is great for little ones. With regards to the surrounding area, Watchet is a lovely little harbour town with some nice pubs although it is advisable to book if you want to eat as they are quite small and get very busy. There are cashpoints in Watchet and Williton and there are Co-op stores in both towns as well. It is a fantastic base for exploring and we will definitely be going back to Home Farm again to explore some more!

Just back from this lovely site, Staff were great, pitch was superb, we were on a hard standing pitch. The toilets and showers were great, the twenty pence fee lasted ages. Bar area and children's play area were good too, the pool was a nice size for the ten people allowed to use it, and the private beach was a nice touch. All in very pleased and will be going back again

Hi,just returned after camping 6 nights in a tent. We booked the holiday in feb, mainly on the strength of the earlier reviews.
I'm a bit puzzled about the sea views some of my fellow tent campers have written about. Yes there are glorious sea views, but these can only be seen by the statics in front of the dense trees lining the cliffs and some of the caravans/statics on the upper levels. The areas for the tents have very restricted glimpses thru the trees. We had an EHU pitch number 11. This area contained a row of about 5 pitches reasonably spaced. I believe this to be the only grassed ehu area for tents.
Directly behind/above us though, was a row of caravans. The view we had in front of our tent was a row of bins, then parked cars. To our right steps, and bizarrely another set of steps on our left causing people to have to cut across the front of our tent to get to the toilets. In my opinion this is a well run established site, but there are far better suited places for tents. For 25 quid per night I expected more.

We stayed for two weeks at the end of July/start of August camping on an area called 'The Green'.
The site were at pains to point out when we booked that the area is 'gently sloping', which is only just a fair description. One good thing about this part of the site is that it remained well drained during the first week when we had a lot of rain, other areas didn't fair quite so well. On the downside you pay the same rate as a flat pitch with EHU, with the owner also insisting on charging you for ice packs.
Facilities are good on site. You get a fair amount of time for your 20p shower, which could sometimes take a little while to warm up. The lights in the toilet block are on a timer, which in the middle of the night never seemed to quite stay on long enough.
The on-site shop is good, with a wide range of stock. In addition you can pre-order papers, croissants and French sticks.
Swimming pool is a definite winner. It's booked out in 1/2 hr slots, with a maximum of 10 in the pool at one time. Shower in the swimming pool is the best on site - 20p gives enough time to wash one dad and two sons or alternatively one mum.
The bar is fine, with a nice garden next to a good children's play area. The BBQ, which is on a few nights of the week, could be better. The children's magician on a Tuesday is worth a visit.
The campsite beach is a short walk away and is another winner, with space for French cricket and good rock pools to go crabbing in.
Shops wise, we either went to the Tesco at Minehead, or the local shops in Williton.
Days out that our five and seven year old boys enjoyed were:
Butlins
Diggerland
Pitch and Putt at Cannington
They weren't so keen on:
Fleet Air Arm Museum
Dunster Castle
Mum's drive up Porlock Hill, which left Mum a bit shakey and with a strange/expensive smell coming from the back of the car.

Read other reviews on this particular site and made our minds up that this would be the place for our main break. Site location is exemplary, set above cliffs overlooking the Bristol channel but sufficient screening by mature trees. Excellent shower block and child friendly pub on site with large adventure playground. Indoor pool can be booked for 30 minute sessions at no extra cost which our daughter loved.Relaxing walks either in woodland or on the local beach less than 10 minutes away. Well placed for visiting surrounding area, we visited Minehead, Lynmouth, Cheddar gorge and the large Clarkes shopping outlet at Street. Will definitely be back

We've just come back from a great weekend. We were on the middle grass terrace and had a fantastic view over the sea. The toilet block was just above us and I agree with others, 20p gave you a nice, long, warm shower (long enough for you and the children).
There was a great play area, lovely swimming pool and small shop. The ladies in the office were very friendly.
This site is child & dog friendly. I look forward to returning.

What a fantastic site, Great Location, we were on Louise's Patch a short walk from a smaller toilet and shower block. We received a very warm welcome the site was very quiet after 9pm at night. The facilities were always very clean, pitch size was very good with plenty of grass for the kids to play on. I found the showers brilliant and warm 20p lasted me for my shower and then some. The pub on site was very good with the pub play area becoming a big hit with our girls (a good excuse to sink a pint before bedtime). We will be going back without a doubt. It may sound odd but the Bakelite museum in Williton is well worth a visit they also have a cafe at the museum that makes the best cream teas I've ever tasted, and the staff were very attentive and kind to our three girls.
