We booked to stay for 3 nights as it was our first family camping trip with our 2yr old. The Reception staff were friendly and showed us on a map where our pitch was and how to get there.
The pitch we were given was on flat ground and sheltered by trees, which was great. The toilet and shower block was not far away and these facilities were kept nice and clean. The showers were nice and warm and we never had to queue. The washing up facilities were also clean however the water there never seemed to be very warm. There was a play area for the children right next to the touring site which was handy. The onsite facilities were great, there was an indoor and outdoor pool, club room, amusement arcade and restaurant, but we never really needed to use these.
Within walking distance there are pubs, restaurants, a few little shops and a small amusement park with rides at Bowleaze Cove.
Weymouth is a short drive away, which has plenty to offer but can be expensive to park.
This site offers great facilities and is in a great location; Our one criticism would be that it seemed a bit expensive as we paid over £100 for the 3 nights with EHU. But that maybe because it was a haven site so you pay for the name and facilities.
Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend this site.
We will definitely come again

Very impressed with this site, managed to get a really really cheap deal of 4 nights midweek for £24 with electric hookup and allowance for full awning they seem to offer deals quite often if you are looking at a midweek stay.
Arrived at the site to a warm welcome from Reception and told where to pitch and given map of location. Obviously Haven are mostly Static caravans and the tourers pitches were over the other side. However we had a corner pitch and had far more space than the static vans seemed to have between them. The Tourers pitch was also right next to the large play park which had lots of things to amuse the children and was excellent for my daughter.
The toilet block and showers were within easy reach, and so was the entertainment complex and shop. Bit disappointed that there were only 4 showers for ladies and 4 for men, and these were also accessible from the back of the swimming pool so during the day they were used by the swimmers as well. However plenty of toilets and they were all kept clean.
The shop was well stocked and had good variety, and had a lovely selection of fresh bread and pastries baked daily. Inside the entertainment complex there was a restaurant which was open all day, and the meals were very reasonable and good value. As you would expect there was entertainment during the day for children and nightly for the children and adults. The complex also had an abundance of amusement machines for children and adults alike.
There were two pools one outdoor and one indoor. The outdoor one was not open during our stay so not sure if it is just open during the summer months. However the indoor one opened for a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon. Not the biggest pool and certainly not that deep but fun for children.
If you make a short walk from the park through a field you come to the sister site of Haven, which you are permitted to use. We found a short walk on a public footpath which took us through the Waterside Caravan site and this led to the beach. This had a great fun fair complex by the side for small children which was so cheap at 70p a ride or happy hour in the evening for just 40p a ride! Plus Adventuring further a field Weymouth is a short distance away. All in all a good site for families with great value for money definitely recommend and visit again.

We spent an enjoyable 3 nights here and found the site of a very good standard, toilets clean and looked after well. The playground was good and the kids spent many an hour there. The bars and entertainment were good however expensive food and drink wise, however found the breakfast great. The pitch was fine however slightly sloping and the camping area was reasonably quiet at night
We enjoyed the location and Weymouth itself is the best.
We would not hesitate in booking here again and probably will.

Arrived on beautiful sunny day check in very quick and good map showing where to pitch tent. Unfortunately area we were given was very sloping so some part of the body when asleep was sloping. Large field with ample room to pitch tent, near to kids play area so you could see little ones.
Toilets and showers a short walk away unfortunately only 4 showers for whole of tourer and tents field. Had to complain on day two about the hygiene in showers. No chair or bench to put clothes and kids on to dry / keep dry and hot water very sporadic. Spoke to cleaner who advised that he finished at 7.30 and not on until next day. Understandably they need time off but this is the worst point of the site.
Clubhouse ample and had kids entertainment, sadly turned up for a night of bingo (this is the only haven site I have stayed on) where it has prize bingo not told this and wasted £9 on 3 books to find they were kids prizes not even worth £1 would it not be better to have had adults and kids bingo.
Shop stocked basic items but very expensive better off travelling to nearby morrisons for provisions. All in all nice site but sadly let down by toilet / shower facilities may not venture back here due this!

Stayed 4 days from 6th April, due to our large tent we had a touring pitch. The kids just continuously played in the play area which we could see from our tent which was good for us.
Swimming pool was clean (indoor) and well supervised. The toilet and shower blocks were in the process of refurbishment. By the time we left, the hand wash facilities were completely replaced as were all the shower cubicles and showers all replaced.
Staff were helpful and included free freezing facilities.
Could hear the club house from our tent but I have some fantastic foam earplugs due to the missus snoring lol!
Chip Shop just outside site was excellent!

Having read the previous reviews - I was really disappointed with this site. It could have been because our stay was at the end of the season but I found the toilet/shower block shabby and the play areas etc seemed a bit worn out.
I suppose if you make the most of the facilities in good weather it probably offers fair value for money but personally I wouldn't go back.

This site offers fun and entertainment for the whole family. It has two good sized swimming pools, children's play area, and amusement arcade. The restaurant and bars were very well priced offering good quality food.
The large showbar offers good entertainment day and night, and the staff were friendly and helpful (one of them even helped me jump start my car).
You can also use the facilities of the adjoining Weymouth Bay holiday park, which I think is a great idea.
Both sites have well stocked shops, laundry, and washing up areas. The showers and toilets are clean and tidy, and the pitches are a good size. The security on site was also very good.
This site is on the outskirts of Weymouth, making it ideal to visit the local beaches, and shops and pubs.
I will certainly return to this site, and would certainly recommend it to others.

We turned up without booking for one night. The staff couldn't be more helpful. We could park right next to the pitch, which was nice and level. This being a Haven site, it had all the ammenities you could ask for. Dog friendly [£3 each] with the shower block about a minutes walk away. Everything was clean and tidy.
If I had to be picky, The showers could do with a bit more pressure, and I wouldn't like to go in the height of the holiday season [it's just not my thing ;-)]

It was the 1st time we had been camping or to a Haven site and we loved it! From the moment we got there the staff were helpful and friendly.
We were never bored and neither was our 3 yr old, the play park was right by us so she could go play and we could watch.
The entertainment was fab the interaction with the kids was superb, the staff was fantastic and spoke and listened to all the kids and to the adults. We had a kids picnic on the sunday with bradley bear and it was only £3.50 that included the kids food, and games, all adults were encouraged to join the games too.
The price of the food in the resturant was over priced.
Apart from that a well done to all the staff at Seaview and we will be goin back.
All facilities including showers, toilets and washing up area were clean and all in working order.

If your into Haven, then you'll like Seaview.
Upon arrival, nobody came to help out to show us our pitch. Then ensued a big row at reception as haven cancelled our booking for our summer holiday and we was given a normal pitch instead of a super. Was offered super from the second night but couldnt be bothered as only there one week - awning etc. Was given super for normal for the next holiday.
The pitches are pretty good and just enough space apart. The only downside is that they are a stones throw from the back of the clubhouse and shop so you get clubleavers coming home late and deliveries arriving early :(
The childrens playground is close to the pitches and we could see our children from the van (let alone hear them!) The swimming pool was okay if a bit small and grimy. The showers, well, all I can say is ABSOLUTELY MINGING and their is only one set on site. The male side needed refurbishing to say the least and the female side only had 'push button' fixed showers that were freezing cold - dont know how mums and their children survive a week?
Entertainment as usual was spot on and had something for all the family. The bar has high priced drinks (£3 for a vodka mudshake then go and see them sold at the local asda for £1)
Definately for a place for tourers with children 5 - 12
