Have visited Anglesey many times and never found this little gem before. Friendly owners, clean safe site, clean facilities. No noise after about 9. 30, wake up in the morning to views of mountains. Lovely. The site was busy when we stopped but could always get a shower 20p, and the washing up was 10p for hot water. Newborough forest and beach are not far, a good walk or £3 to enter with a vehicle, with good facilities at the beach carpark. Use again? Yes.

Very nice site well mown grass park where you want. Although the site is for sale. There is no park for children, but plenty of room for them to play. It is a basic site clean showers/toilets.

It is very close to Newbourgh beach/forest turn left drive down to a barrier pay £3 to get in the forest you then can drive down to the dunes and walk onto the beach which is stunning.

Very good site if you are into cycling/walking. There is a house opposite that sells eggs. All in all ok.

We stayed here for just one night and loved it. Our plans changed so I emailed the owners to say we would only be coming for one night and they rang to see how we were which I thought was a lovely touch. We were made to feel welcome.

The site is easy to find, we didn't eat out so can't comment on the surrounding area / facilities.

The beach is just over a mile away down the road, with toilet facilities and beautiful views of the coast.

The facilities on site were clean and well signposted, we didn't use the showers but at 10p seemed a bargain and also clean.

We would definitely come back and do some of the walks around the forest leading to the beach. Loved it.

What a great site. Just got back after the Jubilee weekend. The owners were fantastic. They provided a free hog roast for all the campers - just asked for donations for charity. Its a shame that they are looking to sell up as nothing was too much trouble. It's a really basic site but in a fantastic location and it has a real charm.

The local beach is about 1. 5 miles from the site and is very popular and well worth a vist. The village of Newborough doesn't have too much to offer but I would definitely return to this campsite.

Just returned from a long weekend at this site. Great site for us. Just a field with toilets and showers. Hook up available too.

Site was very quiet, just a few motor homes and our tent for the first couple of nights then a couple more tents arrived.

The field was lovely and flat and very well drained. We arrived in a downpour and the ground didn't get muddy at all.

There is no playground but our two year old was perfectly happy exploring the field and climbing the steps of raised viewing area. Great views of Snowdon and the sand dunes of the warren. Great spot for watching RAF jets flying from Valley.

There were two showers and they were spotless with a handy shelf, chair and a hook on the door. Shower costs 20p and lasted long enough for me to shower but probably need 2x20p to wash hair.

Toilets were always clean. One disappointment was no hot water to wash hands in toilets but that is a minor gripe.

Pot washing area was available & cost 10p for hot water.

Really friendly owner who is now selling up so maybe different owners next time we visit - which we certainly will be.

The location of the site is ideal for access to the miles of walks in Newborough. We love the beach at Newborough as it is completely unspoilt.

Excellent site, we have just stayed at this site as a club with 19 units at the peak, we were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to our pitches which were a good size and well kept,

The facilities were always nice and clean the showers were warm and the drying space ample. The views from the site are fantastic.

Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, who came round the site at regular intervals to ensure we were enjoying our stay.

As a large club it isn't easy to find a site that everybody likes but this one fitted the bill perfectly with everyone being more than happy.

We look forward to our return.

Just spent a great weekend at this site and will be back very soon. Nice welcome by Alex who was very helpful and friendly.

All the facilities are kept nice and clean at all times with meters for showers(20p)and hot water for washing dishes (10p. )

The views from this site are absolutely fantastic and the location is perfect for getting to one of our favourite beaches in the world, Newborough Warren and of course LLanddwyn Island.

Site got quite full over the weekend but we still had splenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sun.

This is a proper campsite with everything you need the wind wasn't a problem as the field has good screening by a hedge of about 6 foot all the way round.

I have seen other reviews with people complaining about facilities but we had no problem with the showers or toilets

We went the week before the school holidays and there was still a few people there but on our last night (friday) it filled up and there was a lot of kids running about

Newborough beach was the best beach I have been on and allowed for dogs,

The site was a perfect base for visiting all of anglesey.

We've just got home after a great weekend at this excellent, and very very clean little family friendy site.

We stayed in the top field, next to the house and the facilities. Which gave us very good shelter from the wind.

The Owners : Greeted us with a very warm welcome, and a local weather report.

The facilities : 2 Toilets (Men), 2 Toilets (Women), 2 Showers (Mixed) and a washing area ( indoors) for your pots. Costs 10p for hot water for your pots and 20p for the showers (4. 5 mins) so I'd take 40p for a nice long shower.

The Shops : about 2 Minutes in a car about 5 Minutes on foot. Chip Shop (Very Good and the prices are reasonable), Post Office & Mini Supermarket. There is a farm across from the camp selling fresh free range eggs.

The Nearest Main supermarket is 10 miles away (15 Mins in car) at Llangefni

The Attractions : The near by beach (Blue Flag) and forest have a parking charge (toll) of £3.

We would highly recommend this site, it's great value for money and very friendly too. We will be booking again very shortly.

This site is a little gem. We arrived at about midday and where welcomed straight away in a warm and friendly manner. We had previously booked [but only 3 days before we arrived]so where directed to our pitch on the edge of the field with electric hook-up.

I would call this a real camping experience. No hard standing but very well drained so no need for it.The grass was actually very nice-cut and well looked after. Quite large pitches. Owner clearly indicated which was our 'space' so knew we where not infringing on others which was good.

2 ladies toilets, 2 mens. 2 unisex showers. All very clean. 20p for the shower, but I would take 40p so you're very sure. There is one water tap for filling up containers but is central so o.K. Also a saniflow waste disposal.

The site got rather full when we where there, but to be honest there was no problem with noise, games etc. Children played by their own 'homes' and dogs where controlled well. Will be back soon.
