Stayed on this site as my first taste of camping found the site first class, was very impressed with dog enclosure. It was a mixture of caravans and tent Everybody on site were very helpful the toilet and showers were of a high standard. I found no fault with the site and I'm looking forward to go again.

Hi everyone, me and my family have just come back from our camping trip.
This site was welcoming, helpful and clean.
Was in a great location for Blackpool as we wanted to visit the Sandcastle was only a short drive away.
I took 4 children with me and my partner and we were placed by the great play area which the played in with no problems for hours which was great as you don't want then under your feet, its your holiday too hehe!
Also we found it easy to get to a spar for supplies I couldn't fit in the car! the showers and even the bin area was clean.
We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Visited last year and returned this year as we were impressed with the site. Things had changed from last year and it was certainly an improvement as they now have the new showers working, which were hot and powerful. They have a new dog area, with higher fences - as a dog owner I was saddened to see that you still have the inconsiderate & irresponsible owners that refused to pick up their dog mess in the dog area. A dog poo bin was even provided on the way out. Pass is needed to enter/exit which is a great idea. Key for the toilets / showers which again is great. Great kids play area, not that we have children and although there were quite a few children on site there was relative peace later into the evening. Reception very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back again next year.

Just returned from this lovely site. It has a great playground for the children and level, spacious, well marked out pitches. The toilets and showers were very clean, warm and modern with plenty of hot water. The dish wash area was a bit cramped but clean and under cover.
There was loads to do out and about as its only a short drive to lytham st annes.
We will deffinately be returning soon.

This site was excellent, the prices were low compared to others in the area and the service was friendly. There is a security barrier at the entrance for which you are given a passcard (you pay a refundable £10 deposit for this). The toilets and showers were clean and in very good condition. There are also recycling bins on site!
The site is popular with families and there were lots of children there, so plenty for ours to play with, also a lot of them were riding round on bikes as the site is so safe and away from the roads. The play area is also modern and in good condition, our children loved it!
The only problem we had was that although generally the site seemed quite level, we were pitched in a dip which became waterlogged during heavy rain, this did however drain surprisingly quickly once the rain stopped and I think we were the only one's that experienced this problem while we were there.
There is also a big park with play areas for tots and older children, a skate park, a great BMX track and a large playing field only a short drive or bike ride away, as well as lots of cycle paths in the area.
Overall we had a great holiday and would definitely stay at this site again.

I booked a weekend in February as my husband was competing in a local sporting event. We arrived to what essentially looked like a rough gravel car park in an industrial estate. Apparently there is a grassed area but this was closed off as it was winter and there were building works being undertaken. The area we were allocated was dreadful. I have never been so disappointed and was in tears. My husband went and asked for a refund - to their credit, the staff were really pleasant about it and refunded our money immediately and we went home without even unhooking our caravan.

We had a lovely two days camping, beautifully looked after site, toilets and showers were spotless, it was like being at home. People very very friendly and we was made to feel really welcome. We took our dog and she loved it, she had her own space to wander and play. Not a lot of noise apart from children playing on the park but even then was quiet after 10. Good time by all

Stayed at this site for 3 nights with our tent.
Arrived Friday afternoon checking in was great no problems, paid for the weekend upfront and the refundable ten pound for the barrier pass, excellent idea.
We got given our pitch number off we went. Tent pitches rather close together, but didnt hinder us, might be a problem in the very peak season. Out pitch was right next to the dog run but did not have a major issue.
Shower blocks were clean, only had two showers per block, but didnt find it a problem, don't forget some 10p coins for the showers one block was brand new and was very clean all the time (maybe put a shower in this block aswell?)
If I had a bad thing to say about not so much the site but the area is that locally there was a runway for small noisy jets, (the air field is just over the road from the site) they made a hell of a noise practicing take offs till bout 10 at night.
Also the distance from site to blackpool centre is approx 10 miles, so if you fancied a pint, might be expensive taxi ride (£25 the one we got) lol, otherwise we are looking at going back sometime next year, cant wait.

Stayed at this site for 6 nights with our tent, first holiday without the kids for me and the wife, so wasnt to bothered not having the usual haven atmosphere,
Arrived just after 12 noon, checking in was great no problems, paid the refundable ten pound for the barrier pass, excellent idea.was given our pitch number off we went, what a lovely site, pitches rather close together, but didnt hinder us , might be a problem in the very peek season.brand new childrens assault course come swings. Pitches flat, shower blocks were really clean, only had two showers per block, but didnt find it a problem, one block was brand new very clean.recycling point, there was also a dog walking area there, really impressed with how clean the site was, owners was very nice and helpful.
If i had a bad thing to say about not so much the site but the area is that locally there was a runway for small noisy jets, they made a hell of a noise practicing take offs till bout 10 at night, dont know if this is a ongoing thing but it was ongoing everynight when we were there , the noise would scare the young ones.
Also the distance from site to blackpool centre is approx 10 miles, so if you fancied a pint, might be expensive taxi ride lol, otherwise we will be going back sometime next year, cant wait.
