Stayed here whilst touring in the area, visiting Croft Castle, which is only down the road. A very well kept site, lovely views, superb toilet and shower facilities, helpful owner. Not very busy at the weekend, so we were able to pitch away from the road - actually only a small minority of the pitches are on the roadside which is not a busy main road anyway.
Village is 15 minute walk away through fields; we did not try the pub, but they have a little shop run by volunteers in the back of the church selling basics - well worth supporting.
Only one niggle - when we booked, we were told the price was £18. 75 for the night. We thought this was a bit expensive, but it was only for one night. It turned out later that this site puts a surcharge on one night stays of £2. 50. I have never known of a campsite before that charges you extra for a single night.
Unfortunately it was not until well after I had paid that I realised why it was so expensive, and did not manage to ask the owner / warden about this curious practice. So, not a recommended stop for many of us motorhomers who like to keep moving around the area.

2nd visit in a year, we stumbled on the site last year and loved our stay so much we went back this year and it was as good as before.
Facilities are the best around, the toilet and shower block are modern and clean. Our friends who enjoy a night under canvass, appreciated the free use of the microwave and Fridge/Freezer.
We stayed near the road this time and it must be said some of the large farm vehicles that passed in the early hours, definitely made the earth move!
Its a great site and we look forward to returning.

This site is in a lovely area, facilities are first class and spotlessly clean. We were pitched next to the road and for us it was a nightmare. We like to chill out and read or chat but found we had to keep repeating ourselves due to the noise. Cars not so noticeable but it was the huge farm Lorries and motorbikes, all day long from 6am until late. If you go, ask for a pitch away from the road.

2nd visit in a year and, as expected, same quality as before.
Facilities are the best around, the free use of the microwave and Fridge/Freezer make this one of the easiest campsites to use. We were near the road this time and it was far noisier than last year, but only a minor thing everything compared Dawn couldn't do enough for us. We'll all be back!

We have visited this site twice this year and were pleased on both occasions! Lovely setting. Ludlow, Tenbury & Leominster all nearby and worth a visit! Great for dogs. Plenty of places to walk! I take the point that there is no play area but what it does have is LOADS of space for football, cricket, cycling so my kids weren't bored! Toilets & showers are modern & spotlessly clean. Never had to queue. Washing up area has lots of hot water! Dawn the owner is very friendly and yet leaves you to enjoy your holiday. Nice touch is the paying on the last day which then leaves you to pack up @ your leisure! We love it and shall be returning! Highly recommended!

Stayed in this camp site for 3 nights early august. Four adults six children.
We visited Croft castle, really near by.
Good points
Toilets and washing up facilities are very clean, lovely hot free showers with hotel standard extras such as shower gel and sanitary products. Mainly caravans using the site.
Large flat pitches
Several EHU points
Shops near by, for all the things you've forgotten
Beautiful views
Bad points
Very near a busy road. It looks like a quiet country lane but is surprisingly busy. We would have camped further away from the road but were no EHU left
Not much for children to do
We all liked the site. It was nice to have hot water for washing up, and no queues for showers or toilets. They have a visitors board with information about the site and surrounding area. The kettle with tea/coffee was nice to do a brew while setting up. A fridge is available to refreeze ice blocks.
We'd go back to the site

Stayed at this site for six nights at the end of June, £10.50 per night.
Pitch sizes are generous with plenty of room between them
Toilets and shower block spotless. 2 showers(free), 2 sinks, 2 toilets and urinals in gents, similar in ladies, plus one disabled unisex toilet.
Two washing up sinks in utility room plus free use of spin dryer, fridge freezer, microwave and kettle. Complementary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soup available.
A good site for exploring the area. Ludlow and Leominster 15/20 min. Drive. Tesco’s in Ludlow, Morrison’s in Leominster.
National Trust properties nearby, Croft Castle, Berrington Hall and Lower Brockhampton.
Hampton Court is worth a visit, not National Trust.
The twenty min. Walk across the fields to the Bell Inn at Yarpole is recommended. Pub full of caractor with original cider press, Good beer, excellent food.

We visited this site over spring bank holiday. Although all 36 pitches were taken there remained plenty of room for all. Pitch sizes are generous with plenty of room between them. We had two large tents and a gazebo on ours with plenty of room to spare.
This is a splendid site with excellent facilities including 5 star toilet/shower block and utility room with complimentary tea, coffee etc, fridge, microwave etc.
Hospitality was first class.
Gorgeous views over Brecon Beacons and lovely walks.
This campsite would benefit from a park/play area for children to play on - it does have the space.
The only downside for us is the close proximity to the road with the occasional tractor, motorbike and artic lorry which isn't mentioned in the sites leaflet hence the overall rating.
It worked out quite expensive for us but that said we will definitely return.

What a fantastic site! Cannot fault it. Stayed here for 3 nights just before our son returned to school after the Easter break.
Toilets and showers were spotless.
Such a lovely touch having hot drink making facilities in the wash up area.
Ideal site for visiting Ludlow castle which is approximately 15 minutes drive away.
We'll hopefully be returning for a weekend break during the main school holidays.

A group of 5 of us with varied tents etc. spent Saturday night here and what a joy it was. 2 of our families had never camped before and we were all blown away with how clean tidy flat and just brilliant everything was.
Toilets and showers were 1st class and for me set the standard at which all campsites should aspire.
Dawn was very helpful with every aspect of our pre-stay, stay and even afterwards.
Utility room has fridge & freezer for our use as well as a microwave, kettle with tea and coffee. Hits the spot 1st thing in the morning.
You'll struggle to find a better campsite in the UK
We will all be back
