Pleasant little site with nice owners.

Bit heath Robinson with the EHU but it works. Toilets nice & clean (look rather new) one shower using a payment card system, £1 per card but use both ends (50p per shower.

Nice flat well maintained pitches with loads of room and pitch where you like, pubs are a drive away but not too far, didn't do fishing but a pretty little lake and the site is pretty too with the weeping willows around it.

Will use again as handy for visiting family in the area

A beautiful site set in quiet countryside so we enjoyed a calm and peaceful stay.

Very helpful owners.

Grass pitches kept short and hedgerow provides screening and shelter.

Toilets and shower were extremely clean at all times. Shower card a bit tricky, but the water was piping hot and needed due sadly to the wet and windy weekend.

Enjoyed our stay despite the poor weather we had. Shops and pubs etc only a 5 mins drive away.

Only problem we had was the pond was full on our second day but not by campsite residents, only one peg left at the bottom of the pond with a gale blowing into your face. (Perhaps it should be possible to reserve a peg if you are a resident on the campsite?!)

Hoping to return here very soon. Would recommend to everyone!

Visited because of the positive reviews by others that had stayed, In general everything that had been commented on we would agree with. The site is level and the grass is kept short, Toilets and showers are immaculate.

The electric hook ups are a bit primitive just extension leads laid out along the hedge. And the chemical disposal point can block very easily,

The fishing lake is very pretty but due to the lack of rain the water was very low and did affect the fishing, no ones fault but a shame not to see it at it, s best.

The owners father and son are very friendly and helpful, which unfortunately leads to my criticism it is advertised as a 5 van cl. Only on our visit their where never less than 7 and at one point 8 vans or motorhomes on site. When we paid our fees the owner was very apologetic. They are just too nice and try to please everyone !

Booked this site over the telephone, the owner was very friendly and informal. We were able to ring up and add two tents to the booking later.

On arrival we were allowed to chose our pitch, they were all level and spacious. There are two toilets and one shower in a modern block. The shower and toilet were always clean and hot water and soap were always available. The showers were operated with a card system 50p a shower. The water was always hot and ample time was allowed for a shower. Very relaxed atmosphere on the site.

Fishing lake seemed to be well used but not by ourselves. The site was peaceful although there was some plane noise from East Midlands airport but this did not spoil our stay at all, in fact the birds were noisier than the planes.

Local shops in Keyworth, including a small Sainsbury's, about 3 miles away. We went to a pub in the evening for a meal, The Greyhound, Burton on the Wolds. Good food and drink at reasonable prices. About 8 miles away from the site.

Peaceful, clean and tidy, and easy to find. This site has the cleanest toilets, and showers you could wish for. The owner is friendly and obliging. We picked this place on the spur of the moment and were not disappointed. It has a wonderful fishing lake that is open to 'non' residents. Fees are reasonable and the fishing is cheaper for campers. It is under the flight path for East Midlands Airport. But not an intrusion to the calmness of day or night. Not a shop to find, so make sure you have a larder full of food!. Pubs are not easy to find either. But is this a problem, NOT AT ALL The 3 nights we stayed were very very relaxing, and our near neighbour on site, is a regular he told us, for Just that reason. Peace and quiet. Yes we will go again soon.

Just had an excellent weekend at this gem of a site. If you want a peaceful tranquil stay this is the site for you.

Owners very friendly, toilets and shower very clean with a great little pond for fishing

The nearest shops/pub are perhaps 2 miles away but I did not find that a problem, melton mowbray is around 20 minutes drive away which is full of all the usual outlets for retail therapy.

So if you require a site to chill and relax spot of fishing walk the dog and don't mind getting the car out to go shopping check this place out.

Great little site we stayed for 3 nights, staff really friendly and the fishing excellent.

The only criticism is that there is not a pub or shop near by so you would need to make sure you have enough provisions. The town of Keyworth is about 3 miles away and everything can be brought there.

If your visiting the area go to the Belvoir brewery its around 6 miles away on the way to Melton Mowbury.

Toilets and showers very clean however they only have one shower so if it was buys could get a bit messy.

Visited the site over Easter. The site was very clean and extremely tidy with spotless showers and toilets. The owners were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Fishing is very good and the pond is well looked after.

As previously said, the nearby village of Keyworth has a good selection of basic shops with a very good fish and chip shop.

Would definitely recommend to others, and we will certainly be using the site again.

Just returned from pikes oak farm we spent sixteen days at this great little place. The site was very well kept grass always mowed only a 5 cs site so very peaceful and quite apart from the odd plane going over.

Owners very helpful nothing to much trouble for them. Fishing good and fish were in very good condition. Great place for walking dogs.

Nice little village called key worth good shops fish and chips pubs that do very good meals.Melton has a very big market on Tuesday.

Will be going back next year for two more weeks all being well.

Just returned from a lovely weekend at this very peaceful and pretty site. Owners were very welcoming and helpful, facilities were very clean and well cared for. Enjoyed some good fishing in a well stocked pleasantly landscaped lake. Very little noise except for the sheep and horses that share the field next door! We loved it! Highly recommend this little gem of a site that we will definitely return to.
