 Stayed here for 7 nights, very quiet, no campsite lights to bother you, when it's dark, it's dark.
It is an absolutely delightful site, sheltered on all four sides, first night it was just us, then another caravan stayed for 5 nights then back to just us.
The fishing is excellent, my biggest was a 14. 5 lb carp. But 3 others over 10 lb.
Didn't use shower as we use our own, but toilet, / shower block very clean and tidy.
Carl is friendly and helpful, but not in your face.
Very easy to get to from A46. Lovely surroundings villages, and Melton Mowbray is definitely worth a visit only 20 mins away.
Will we come back again? Definitely, it's the best 5 van site we have stayed in.

Beautiful quiet level site with a short walk around the fishing lake.
Two toilets and showers which were always clean.
A very helpful site owner.
Easy to find with straightforward access.

Lovely site in a quiet location, although a short drive to the shops and public houses.
Fishing lake is great with great variety,
Clean and tidy and Carl is very welcoming.

This Site is one of the most friendly and also very quite and peaceful, Wonderful countryside.
Carl the owner was such a helpful host,
Toilet and shower facilities were spotless and cleaned at least once a day to a high standard,
Overall great site just what we were looking for we will be back, Thank you

Beautiful setting -
Very quiet and peaceful -
Perfect with the dog (dogs kept on leads but that really isn’t a problem) -
The lake is lovely to walk round and is very well kept -
Carl also really helpful -
This was our very first outing in our Motorhome and we loved it here -

The site has ample spaced pitches with electric hookup,
Well appointed toilet / shower room (shower requires a token).
Fantastic walks from your pitch.
Great contact from the owners.
We will definitely return in the near future.
