April 2005 Just returned from a weekend here - what a little gem! Lovely dry pitches (well drained) - really informal, peaceful atmosphere. We were allowed to leave when we were ready (no chucking out at 11.30 - 12.00! Great dog walk! Only complaint - Shower/Toilet Block could do with a good brush down above showers etc. otherwise lovely & clean all day. If this is improved & they advertised the Site a little more, this should be full every weekend.

July 2004 Excellent site - very easygoing and very friendly and handy for lots of places on the coast, Hull, York and surrounding areas. The site is enclosed by trees and surrounded by countryside. The site shop only stocks the basics plus sweets etc.
The owners were very accommodating and we found everywhere very clean. The childrens play area was in sight from most caravans. Water and electric were in very close proximity. The best dog walk we have known - a farm track that goes on for ever.
The site was very tidy with hard standing pitches available. We found it took very little to stabilise the caravan (compared with some sites) and did have the advantage of a 'mover' but those without had no problem manoeuvring around. The site gates close at 10:00pm.

Easter 2004 This site was absolutely hectic on the weekend we were there. The pitches were very close together and the ground was really uneven for tents.
There is a shop onsite and they stock calor gas. The shop doesn't stock a huge amount but has basics.
The toilet block was clean in between 10am and lunchtime but in the mornings (busiest time) there was no toilet paper (most of it was on the floor) and the floor was soaking. There was also no hot water for the male showers.
Apparently the owners had recently taken the site over and were maybe finding the Easter weekend difficult to cope with. The owning family were very friendly and accommodating.
Would try this site again - about 20 mins drive from York so is a good base.
