What lovely little site! Very friendly and helpful. The facilities were absolutely fine for the size of the site when I visited (but they may frustrate during the busy periods when queues could form). Showers, loos, washing machines and dryers, wash up, local notice board, gas, electric hook up came as standard on most pitches, together with drains and bins close by, plus elsan point - it was clean (very!), well planned, well kept and a super attitude shown by the resident warden. The site had also attracted some really nice people whilst I was there too. There was a pub only yards down the road and a supermarket 3 miles drive away. Would certainly call back and recommend

Only spent one night here but it is a lovely site with helpful friendly owners.
There was nice flat mown grass to pitch on and wonderfully clean toilets with superb hot showers at no extra cost. All this for a bargain price of £9 for the two of us.
The only possible down side is it is quite close to the main road but it isn’t too noisy and you soon get used to it and no longer notice. There is a Hook Norton pub called the Bell just a little way down the road but unfortunately we didn’t get time to try it out.
Will definitely be returning.

What a tremendous and friendly welcome from the site owner, the toilet block was exceptionally clean, hardly any queues for the showers, site itself was clean and tidy at all times, convenient pub 50 yards down the road, doing evening meals and not too badly priced either, local shop further on down the road right next to the canal.
Location is ideal for the M40, not too far from Stratford and Rugby either.
Would definitely recommend this site.
We will definitely be back to this site next year.

Very nice friendly site and cheaply priced.Showed to pitch on arrival and told to pay when sorted. Was originally booked on grass pitch with electric but because of heavy rain was moved to fully service pitch at no extra charge.Warden even put some bark down at bottom of slide so kids could use it. Showers and toilets although not many never had to wait and were well maintained. Small childrens play area on camping field.Small pub just a minutes walk away. Only down side was the road noise but this is bearable and would not stop us going again.

Excellent site, with high quality facilities - very clean and warm. Good, well drained pitches with large hard standings/ electric. The site is well lit, good attention to H&S and customer care - the owners will go out of their way to assist visitors.
The local village is attractive and unspoiled, with a good pub within walking distance.
We like this site very much!

I always go there for camping. Normally just for a week or one to two days travelling to Scotland.
Just after the floods in July they allowed me to camp on a very wet piece of field. I was glad they allowed it.
The camp site is a great site with good quality showers and toilets. If it's fully booked it's a bit short on the number of toilets, showers but what the heck, the prices are very low < 10 pounds a night.
Very nice owner, pub near by (recently a new tenant) Supermarket (tesco) just a 6 to 10 minute drive away.
The through road is a bit noisy but I've no problem with it.

Stayed here for three nights on fully serviced pitch. Very peaceful and quiet. The owner was friendly and very helpful. The site is exceptionally well kept and the toilet block is spotless. Traffic noise could be a problem on field next to road but where we were it was peaceful.

Stayed here for an overnight on the way up to Scotland.
The only reason we chose this site was because of the good reviews on u.K camp site.
Well, we checked in and were given no indication of anything to do with the site, just told ' That's your pitch over there'
The site was grubby and neglected.
The showers, only two, which were unisex, although not dirty, were in a bit of a sorry state and could have done with a update.
All the units on site were crammed in and it felt as if we were just in a glorified car park.
We were travelling with another couple in a motorhome who live in it full time and they travel all over the country and they said it was the worst site that they had encountered in a long, long time.
The noise from the road nearby was continuous, day and night.
At first we thought that we had checked in at a different one to the site on this review. However, our friends checked on their lap top and we were at the same site.
To top it all, when we paid on departure we were told that there wasn't a receipt available.

We stayed here for a one night stop over on our way to the Lake District. We liked it so much that we stayed another five nights on the way back. We had a service pitch which was lovely, no aqua roll or waste hog to move around. The pitch was gravel with a grassy area next to it,very well kept.Showers and toilets were always clean even with all the rain we had. We went to the pub just down the road,it was quiet and reasonably priced. From here we visited Woburn Safari Park. Bicester, Daventry, Oxford and of course Banbury. It's very central. This is a great little site and we will return one day.

We visited this site earlier in the year and haven't looked back as this site is ideally suited to visit loads of attractions including some first rate Museums & National Trust Properties.
In fact, there are so many attractions, we still haven't seen them all.
There's a large 24 hour Tesco with filling station about one mile down the road for any supplies that you might need & there are plenty of food outlets in the nearby town of Banbury.
We have found the owner extremely helpful as he has tried to meet any special requests that we had.
All in all, this is a great site in a great location & at £10 a night it's great value for money.
