Don't really want to write this review as would like to keep the campsite a secret! Having just returned from a short weekend break with my partner and our dog I would definitely recommend this site to others. It is situated just off the A423 to Banbury so very easy to get to. This said the road noise was barely noticeable even though we were in a tent.
The facilities were great, toilets, washing up area and showers all located in the one block and all spotlessly clean. There are 3 showers for use by both men and women each with plenty of space inside, locking doors & plenty of free hot water. There is even a mop outside to leave them as you would like to find them for the next person. Also in this block is a pay-phone and local interest leaflets. Within the field we pitched there is a fenced area for dog's to do their business with a dog mess bin also which was handy. I noticed there was also an enclosed children's play area.
There are lovely walks locally and The Bell Pub provides a great refreshment point afterwards (turn right at the campsite exit and is 200 metres down the road) . The village of Great Bourton and Cropredy are also very picturesque.
Overall the site is well run and layed out, with extremely reasonable prices.
Needless to say we will be going back as the site has definitely won our vote!

We went as a group of 5 units (mixed tents and caravans) and stayed on the rally field. I can not recall receiving a better welcome from the chap running the site - he was extremely warm and helpful. The cleanliness of the washrooms was excellent, and the site represents remarkable value for money. Form the site, you can walk across the fields down to Cropredy where you can visit the picturesque canal area or visit one of the three excellent pubs in that village.

We stayed for four nights at half term at this site near Banbury, intending to visit the Cotswolds.

The site has the most luxurious facilities I've ever seen on a site: the standard of decor and cleanliness is immaculate, and there are little touches which make it all very easy to use, such as hooks in the washing up area so you can hang up your coat, and a fan heater in case it's chilly (which it wasn't). A mop outside the showers means that people can clean up after themselves, and two doormats at the entrance mean the floor stays clean even when it rains (which it did!).

There are strict rules about children, such as nobody under 12 allowed in the facilities unaccompanied, no trikes or bikes allowed on site. We found the site very, very quiet - we might almost have been the only ones there, except that it was full! Perhaps this is explained by the high proportion of caravanners - there were only two other tents there when we stayed.

The nearby village of Great Bourton is very pretty, with a pub and a church, and a table with an  honesty box outside a house, with a range of home made jams for sale. No shop though.

For shopping, Tescos in Banbury is only 5 minutes away. There's also the Kraft factory which for most of our stay must have been roasting coffee!

Noise from the nearby M40 spoils the peace and quiet a little, but it was not loud enough to disturb our sleep. We'd definitely recommend this site, which is also enormous value for money.

Returning to camping after many years, it was great to find such a friendly, clean and welcoming site. The camp is well maintained, with meticulously clean toilets, hot showers, washing up facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer. Nothing like I remembered camping used to be.

The enclosed children's play area was a hit with my daughter and I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a good, value for money, family friendly camp site.

Some service pitches with own supply of water electric and TV socket. Toilet block very clean and tidy. Great site, a few walks nearby as is the canal. A pub nearby that does very good food albeit a bit limited on the menu...... What there is though is very good

Excellent Clean Site. Owner & Warden friendly & Helpful. Brilliant childrens play area. Elec hook ups, Chem Disp, Water points, Hard standings. A short drive into Banbury caters for all your needs & there are excellent surrounding picturesque Villages to visit.

Use this site often if we want a "quick" weekend away. Easily accesible off M40 and A423. Road is heard but not a nuisance. The pub is lovely and so is the food. Mostly hard standing with multi-service pitches available. Reasonably priced (@£11) for a site with excellent shower/toilet blocks, hook ups, dog walk/run and great access to local amenities. Local garage stocks all essential items although Banbury only 5 mins by car.

Really nice site. Showers and toilets wonderfully warm and clean, owners friendly and approachable. Play area good for children. Local pub a stones throw down the road very accomodating for our group (6 adults 7 children). Traffic noise was noticable but not a nuisance. Only problem was trying to get the pegs into the ground!

We visited this campsite over a very wet weekend. When we got there the reception was really friendly and helpful and, as we have a large dog and a very small van, the warden very kindly put us in the field next to the dog walk. The toilet block was the most pristine you can imagine, extremely well laid out and warm. There were three toilet cubicles for both men and women, one having a wash basin in it, plus there were two showers for anyone to use. The laundry room looked well equipped though we had no need to use it and there was a washing up room with three well appointed washing up basins and drainers.

We found everyone there very friendly and quiet - one of the things we feel is very important. The dog walk was adequate, even providing a dog bin and shovel. However, one little niggle with this was that only the fences leading into the site had wire fencing as well - which meant that a lively dog (including our large lurcher) could easily get out onto the busy road outside if let off the lead.

And that was the other niggle - the very noisy road (A423) which runs right next to the boundary of the park and we found a bit annoying. However, this is about the only problem that we had with this site and we would recommend it to anyone. And if you stay there, make a point of going to the Bygones Museum in Claydon, only a few miles down the road. Well worth a visit.

Stayed in the rally field (or tent field depending on season), site is a nice size, with good enclosed kids play area, road noise can be intrusive coming from for the local A road rather than the M40.

Showers are cleaned regularly and had plenty of hot water, on the down side though no shower curtain so clothes tend to feel damp after the shower.

Not much within close walking distance, but the two local pubs serve good food, and the local Hook Norton Beer.

All in all a nice site.
