 Nice site. Everything mentioned in other reviews still stand. Some work (hook-up, water etc) being done in back field, but this will be for statics, I was told. Another field being prepared for tents. Apparently, a shop & small bar is to be built in the future. Lovely area. The Fox Inn, is a drive away, but good food. What I must recommend, is Mrs T's fish & chip shop next to Southwold harbour. Best I've had.

Nice farm site. Even though it was August bank holiday, they don't "pack them in" so the site felt calm and peaceful. Plenty of space for kids to run around and a little wooden play area. Ground very soft due to recent rainfalls.
Basic clean facilities - 6 toilets and 2 showers per gender, showers not very powerful but adequate. Pot wash sink only has cold water, but guess you can fill up with hot water from the washrooms. No shop but well-stocked garage with cafe a mile or so down the A12, open till late.
Local pub - The Fox Inn was very good for a meal when our gas ran out! (could only get replacement gas at Brian Fuller caravans in Farnham, 6 miles south).
If you have bikes you can cycle from the site into Dunwich Forest and Dunwich village and beach, only a few miles. A lovely peaceful place to spend the bank holiday.

This is a loverly little campsite. Welcoming and open. It's got great access to the A14 for getting to places around suffolk. It's a basic site, with no trimmings, but they are planning big build for 2004 to incorporate a shop, small bar etc. If you want peace and quite and some space to move, this is your ideal site.
