This is a nice site, well looked after, the toilets and showers were spotless ! There is a little shop on the site but dont do much in there, however it was October so I guess its the end on the season to have much stock. We did think that the site was very overpriced, I've been on better for less! I guess it wouldnt be as bad if there was just 2 people staying there as you get charged per person, having 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog to pay for was a bit steep at £22 a night off season? the stay would have been better if they just charged per caravan / motorhome etc/ like most sites do. They do have a outside pool so bet that would be good in the summer months, however there is another charge on top for the use of that. It's a very nice site in a quiet area, but I really dont think its worth it for those with big families, there's better value for money on other sites I've been to for families.

Very nice and well ordered site. Very good and clean toilet and shower facilities, washing up and clothes washing. The children liked the pool, though I thought it was a bit cold. The play area could be a bit more imaginative to cater for the young teenager as well as the under 10's. The staff were friendly and helpful and the site peaceful at night. Lovely spot for cycling and walking and we would visit again and will recommend to our friends.

Lovely site set in a woodland location. Toilet and showers facilities very clean. The site has a small shop and swimming pool. The site was very clean and tidy. Grafham water is a very short walk, where there is a centre for sailing, windsurfing, bike hire, fishing etc. This is a perfect site for a short break.

June 2005 This is a lovely campsite set in very pretty setting.
This site is very well maintained and very clean. The toilets were also very clean to a very high standard.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, allowing us free use of one of the many BBQ that they have.
Our pitch was very spacious with ample room and not imposing on our neighbours.
This is a thumbs up for me and i will definitely be returning in the not to distant future.

July 2005 beautiful area. campsite very well maintained, beautiful scenery lots to do and see, very friendly owners, site very busy on our visit. Main site facilities far superiour to the paddock area for visitors.
Toilets showers and washing up facilities throughout the site were immaculate, although the hot water on the paddock side was very tempremental.
Would visit again definately recommend to others. Swimming pool was a god send in the scorching weather. A1 site.

July 2005 Very nice site and very friendly owners. Toilets and showers were immaculate. All facilities excellent. Would definitely go again and would definitely recommend. Seemed to be very safe for kids, there were lots of under 8's playing around and cycling around without supervision which was lovely to see. Swimming pool was clean and the kids loved it.

June 2005 Pleasant site with good (for UK), clean facilities. Surrounding area is pleasant enough but you wouldn't want to stay more than a few days. My recent short stay was rather spoilt by dogs running off the lead (despite the site owners assurances) and two piles of doggy do's within 10 feet of my unit - one on an area where small children frequently played. Sorry, but that won't do. They have a separate paddock so could easily designate "no dogs" on the main site.

June 2005 What a beautiful campsite. It was lovely even though the weather was not fantastic. The kids were fasinated (and the adults) by the eagle owl that lives around the site and on the edge of the pond area moorhens had laid eggs that the children watched hatch. The toilets and showers are the best we have encountered. Extremely clean and spacious. The only thing that kept it from being the best site we have visited is that everyone was too close together! Some people may like that, but it felt like we were in the same tent as the people that were talking during the night and I felt as if I could reach out and touch the baby that was crying half the night!!! If they could spread the pitches out a bit it would be perfect.

June 2005 We have just spent Mon to Fri at Old Manor, I wanted to say that they have now built a toilet block on the overflow field "the paddock", makes life and trips to the loo in the night easier. Beautiful site, plenty of tadpoles and birds around, clean showers, nice area, fantastic for children, freedom to roam on the site giving parents chill out time. Would reccomend taking a bike, Grafham Water is a great place to cycle around. The pool on site was clean, but not very warm "overcast day" ground will probably be hard for pegs come the dry season, but overall a great site the owners and wardens work really hard. Thank you
