We visited the site early August (just for 1 night). Small, nice and green. Under normal circumstances quiet as well, I reckon. We didn't exactly have a flat pitch, but that was because they were cutting the hedge right next to the flat area. Facilities modern and very clean!
Landlady was a bit crancky (we arrived a bit later than expected and we weren't allowed to put a coldpack in the freezer because it was after 7 p.m., even though she was just sitting in a chair at that time and we really needed it to keep our food on temp.). The next morning she was a lot friendlier, but that didn't solve our cooling problem.
The small but well kept playground is a plus for children.
I think we paid 17 or 18 GBP for the night (tent pitch, 2 adults and 2 ch. under 5), which in my opinion isn't cheap. All in all, probably a fairly good site, but not cheap and make sure you book in advance if you want a flat tent pitch.

I like this site very much and begrudge telling anybody else, cos it will make it harder for me to book up if it is popular! Very nice site , very sloping but one of wardens had us chocked up and level within minutes , he was always very helpful. One of wardens not so nice.
Lots of Steep steps up to toilet block and washing up but there is a disabled shower and toilet for those who need it. Very clean and well kept, can't say I've had much trouble though with club sites anyway.
Recommended it to many people, taking second lot of friends there again at the end of September for weekend.
